I think it would be fair to say you've got until Wednesday. If you've not played by then you're out of the Tournament and the final is myself and Fandango vs Spirited and Sam It's harsh, but you've had more than long enough to play the match and this tourney is really beginning to drag on now! Almost 3 months!

Lots of stuff from Polythene, Yesterday Went Too Soon, Swim and Two Colours would be great! They'd still be lighter than Slipknot, but playing that stuff would most certainly make them fit in! You never know, QOTSA don't have a set set list. They play different stuff at just about every gig so you might get a lot of Rated R this year. Worth the gamble?

My day has been been great and crap. On the great side: Saw Fandangle live last night, brilliant gig! Got very, very drunk Bought a Fandangle T-Shirt, their CD and one of the support bands CDs Kissed one of my mates mates. Nice girl, no idea if we'll ever meet again though (don't live anywhere near each other). On the bad side: Lost the CDs and T-Shirt Threw up this morning. A lot. Vaulted a wall last night and sprained my ankle. I can barely walk! The ground was higher on the other side, so it kind of caught me by surprise Ah well, the good stuff still outweighs the bad. Manchester tomorrow night for my mates 21st! Gonna be interesting with my foot in the state it's in! And the footnote: The NHS suck. They're being cheap and refusing to give me crutches! Got 2 choices now, either don't go to Manchester tomorrow or hobble around doped up on pain meds (Everyone who knows me knows it's a no-brainer :p If i can physically walk then i'll be there)

iPod Touch definitely, although i've not found it to be a particularly stable device (the browser crashes a lot!) It's very sturdy though. Scratches easily but it's not likely to brake without some serious force!

For those who didn't pre-order the supermarkets don't take orders and have a considerable amount of stock. Most Tesco and Asda stores are doing a midnight launch, Sainsbury's will be 7am for most of the country. All 3 will have stock until 9am, maybe later.

I hate Gallows now. Never really liked them before, but the reason why Less Than Jake clash with RATM is because the Gallows singer threw his toys out of the pram, insisting that he wanted to see Rage and refusing to clash with them Less Than Jake/Pennywise will be awesome, but it's RATM! ARGH! Add in to that Babyshambles and there's 3 headliners i want to see on the Friday and none that i care about on the Saturday (seen Manics, seen The Killers twice and Gallows have suddenly become very unpopular with me...) Anyhow, good announcement! Alkaline Trio will be ace :awesome:

Out of interest what were you planning to upgrade for? If it's just to speed up general day to day tasks then you could pick up a cheap AM2 motherboard and an X2 3600+ for £60-ish

So what would the plan be then forum users? Publishers plough tons of cash in to hardcore games on the Wii in order to try and change the fanbase? Then what? They sit back and pray their money isn't wasted? Where do they get the man-power to do these games? Do they use the crap studios that they're currently making churn out mini-game compiliations? Or do they pull good resources away from Xbox 360, PS3 and PC games? If they use the former then the games will likely turn out crap. If they use the latter then they're taking a further risk by reducing output on the more "hardcore" focussed platforms. Publishing Houses are businesses. They'll publish the games where they know they will sell, testing other markets with the occasional game to make sure they aren't missing out on the big money. The Wii is the polar opposite of the Xbox 360. You guys are the minority, in the same way that casual gamers are the minority on the Xbox 360. No More Heroes is to the Wii what Scene It! is to the Xbox 360, an experiment to see if there's a potential new market.

So, according to IGN GTAIV is the best game of the last 10 (and maybe more) years. It's also the best game to ever come out of a western studio. Wow. Just wow. Im even more hyped now! I applaud Rockstar for being the ONLY developer in the whole world that could actually be arsed to put the time in an make a truly next-gen game. Just goes to show how many devs cut corners...
