I was assuming Jasper was questioning Tape Deck's post. The iPhone is very much a "must have" gadget, but there isn't really much point having one over the competitors
-
So basically you're saying that you buy marketing. What was you're point again?

RUMOUR: New NiGHTS & Skies of Arcadia at Sega Gamers Day 2008
McPhee replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
And whats to say Microsoft wouldn't fund (or pay for) Skies? Seems as likely as anything, they seem pretty determined to crack Japan and they don't have any new jRPGs on the radar after Vesperia. Basically it could well be on any platform really. There's no reason that any of us know of for Sega to want it on any particular system. Im pretty sure i read that the 360 was getting a FFXIII game, but that it wasn't necessarily being the main FFXIII game (which is what i was getting at with "some form"). I might be wrong there though. -
RUMOUR: New NiGHTS & Skies of Arcadia at Sega Gamers Day 2008

While i agree it will probably be for Wii the 360's popularity in Japan won't affect the chances of it being made for that console. Skies of Arcadia would make a nice addition to a jRPG line-up that consists of Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia and some form of Final Fantasy XIII I really hope it does appear in some form or another... -
In PoR and RD no nation is Good or Evil. It's the leaders of those nations that are Good/Evil. The Begnion Senate were bad guys in PoR, the Apostle being a good guy (or rather, girl). If you bare that in mind then things will begin to make sense. Basically you are fighting to liberate the people of Daein, who haven't really done anything wrong. You're playing good-hearted people fighting for a good cause. Soren is awesome! I half expected him to be a traitor too, but i trained him and Illyana up in PoR regardless. He was the most powerfull mage in PoR, leagues ahead of Illyana (who i also used, i like my mages).

Team Fortress 2 I'd say it's the pinnacle so far. It's simply stunning, the textures and character models are flaw-less and the animations are so full of life. They need to make more games that look like this because you can't pick holes in it like you can with "realistic" looking games.

It's a very complicated situation, and it annoys me just how many people have an opinion on it despite not knowing anything about the situation. Heck, most people i know would say Tibet should be made an independent nation Personally my opinion is that the Dalai Lama and his peers just want they're own personal power back, whether it disadvantages the people or not. I'd like to see them step down from they're positions of power and retire the idea of Tibet as a nation. It will never happen. All they are doing at the moment is causing political unrest in the region, breeding riots.

I remember fox's reflect being quite good too. Gonna try Meta Knight though and just keep spinning + flying around the place

Im devided on the Biffy front. Tent headline doing the first 3 albums would be immense. 2nd or 3rd Main Stage playing Puzzle with a couple of token old tracks would be watch-able, but comparatively lame. Pendulum is the best news i've heard in a while though. Gonna get to see them, Chemical Brothers, Hot Chip and Justice this year. Daft Punk would be the only thing i need to complete the awesomeness, but i don't see them playing any festies that i can make it to or touring

Guys, please hit the report post button, then the relevant person will move it. Until then help him out with the problem (i can't move the thread, i'm powerless in Gen Chat ) It's a graphics driver problem. There might be a patch to fix it, or it might simply not work with you're graphics card drivers. you could try downgrading them to an older version. Could also be OS related, which OS's are you using (on this comp and the old one)

THe GH controllers all work with the PS2, PS3 and 360 versions of this game. The Rock Band controllers don't work with GH though, been a lot of name calling between EA and Activision over that one. Basically Activision can't be arsed to write a patch for the GH games, they insist that there's no consumer demand for it...
-
I missed the word "footage" in that title and nearly had a heart attack! Shame it's all bs though
-
What it says there is that the controllers made by Harmonix won't need to have the Wiimote plugged in to them in order to work. Instead all the RB controllers work direct with the Wii. That doesn't mean that the GHIII controller isn't supported, it doesn't confirm or deny that. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be.

Yes, those famous Metal names of The Prodigy and RATM... :p It doesn't seem that different from normal really, most of these bands have done Download before. It's just 3 slightly disappointing headliners, but who could they really call on this year? If they stuck to the same acts they normally put on then they'd be doing the same line-up on a 3 year rotation, there aren't very many bands that fit in to the classic image of Download Festival (most of them played 2006, those that didn't did 2007 or have been inactive for 3 years+) RATM would have been ace, but they were always going to play Reading and Leeds this year. It's more established and a gig that Zak has said he enjoys playing (that, and they pay well)

Bullet For My Valentine are playing, as are Seether. Both announced yesterday Pendulum have self confirmed. Kerrang! have leaked tomorrows announcement early. Biffy Clyro, Fightstar and Madina Lake. Im loving the way this festival is shaping up. Will be there for sure now!

It doesn't say you can't use the GHIII controller...
-
Doesn't work with my Touch, i didn't know about the update thingy though, just assumed the 360 was being shite
-
ahahahahahahhahahaha yeah, right...

Bit of a shame this, the game is basically built up on Online and DLC. Without that it's a comparatively poor game The whole idea of releasing a 3rd version when they're already struggling to meet demand on the first 2 seems more than a bit strange too... Why would you get the Wii version if you have a 360 and PS3? If it retails for the same price and is the same bar the lack of online and DLC then surely you'd have to be insane to buy the Wii version?

Falcon is great Been playing as him a bit today and finding him every bit as good as he was in melee. The turning Falcon Punch is brutal! K.O.'d someone on 50% with it! Meta Knight is ace, my favourite newbie by a long way! Disappointed with the changes to Marth, not as good as in Melee Snake and Olimar i can't figure out at all, very fiddly characters. ZS Samus is great! Not that keen on Samus herself though, definitely been nerfed Can't wait to unlock Wolf now, he's next on my "to try" list.

Just cleared SSE, glad it's finally over, was really starting to drag on! Beat the last boss on my first attempt, took 3/4s of his health with Pikachu (after losing Mario) then ended up on my last character who won by the skin of his teeth! Thats all the characters unlocked now bar Jigglypuff, Wolf and Toon Link I meant you cant cock the timing up using the C stick, hence it's more reliable
