Can you guys start naming these by the hour? Nearly got caught out by your spoilers there!

Amazon still seem to think they're dispatching my Hori stick on the 6th March. Time for a complain email methinks...

24? Believable? I'm re-watching Season 3 at the moment, S7 is certainly more believable than that. They seem to play out a mini-plot, then forget it existed, move on, play out the next one. Not my favourite season by far (2 was the best, by a LONG shot).

The hydraulics used to open/close the saferoom doors would be my guess. Burst the tanks, let them leak, add a spark (created by the firing mechanism in the gun) and "BOOM!"

Yeah, you'll be long gone from Thailand by the time i get there. Planning on leaving my job at the end of June, then i've got tickets for Blur in Hyde Park on the 3rd July so it'll be some time after that. Current plan is to be in Bangkok for a week from around the 12th, then Cambodia for a few days (2 in Phnom Penh, 1 at Angkor), another day or so to travel up to Hanoi. I should be there from around the 24th. It's a bit of a whistle-stop tour, especially if i plan on getting the Trans-Siberian railway back (money dependant, and it means swapping Laos for Bejing). I'm aiming to be in Budapest by the 12th August for Sziget festival. I've not got a huge amount of time to squeeze it all in really. My Uni course starts mid-August and each thing i add to the "To Do" list cuts in to that limited time a bit more. Sziget takes a week, the TS Railway another 6 days, flights take another day. That's 2 weeks gone before i even consider what i want to see while i'm there.

You should be able to access the UK store no bother. You can access any store you like on the PC if you have a valid CC and address from that country, i can't see the Touch being any different. Best answer would be to eMail Apple's support and ask, though they might not give you a straight answer. If not then try asking over at iLounge, i'm sure someone will have tried it before. Also, when is it you're heading over there? I'm heading the Thailand in the summer, then probably North through Laos to Vietnam and then south to Cambodia. Finances depending i might see if i can fit some other countries in as well.

Alien Hominid is the Ikaruga of side scrolling beat em ups, absolutely insane and very, very hard. I love it though, once you get used to it it becomes fun and the difficulty becomes a challenge rather than an irritation.

A much better idea really, the Elite didn't serve a lot of purpose after the 60GB Pro came out. The red 360 is really cool, and a pretty good price really.

I'm tempted myself, it's the one and only chance i'll get to see one of the greats of music. Then again, he's hardly a great of music anymore. 15 years ago would have been ideal...

Read the journal entry at the start of the book. Rorschach wanted the same thing as Vedit, a new, uncorrupt world. The difference is in their methods, their morals and their expected outcomes. Rorschach lost, and from his point of view Vedit is damning the world (along with the fact that under his view Vedit should be dead for what he has done). He probably did want to die at the end of the book, there's no way he'd want to live in that world. He was crying for the souls of the Billions who, in his view, Vedit is condemning.

They came in stock last week for like an hour or two, i did put a post up in both this thread and the 360 one. I "got" one but they haven't dispatched it, so i guess i didn't get it as other people who ordered have received theirs!
-
That'd be nice. Sadly Amazon are a bunch of muppets and still haven't dispatched the one i ordered 10 days ago. The estimated dispatch date is still showing as 2/3/09 too I'd cancel, but i used a gift voucher and i'm not sure if it'll work again if a cancel the order

It's very good, best Total War yet by a long way. There's far more to do in the Grand Campaign than ever before, you get a lot more control over your nation and politics and diplomacy are more important than in previous games. At the moment though there are bugs that need sorting out, your units sometimes decide that they can't be bothered to fire for example, and just stand there doing nothing. I'm getting quite a bit of slowdown on the campaign map and CTDs as well...

Try just above Florida EDIT: Beaten to it For future reference Google will turn up most of the locations, though the map that came with the SF edition is much more useful

Are awesome. And this time i WILL make it back with their album, drunken antics resulted in me vaulting a wall and landing on the CD last time Wound up with a sprained (and very swollen) ankle too, but it was the CD that i was upset about

Just got back from seeing Franz Ferdinand at the academy in Brum, bleeding fantastic! The crowd were mental, was like being in a giant mosh pit! The new stuff sounds fantastic live The support act were really good too, no idea who they were but i want their album! Oh, and because everyone else has done it:

Same again, was excited for a moment. I'm not sure whether all these GH games is a good thing or not. On one hand it's usually cheaper to buy a new game than the equivalent amount of DLC, on the other hand it means lots of disk swapping

Dee Jay and T. Hawk are pretty much ready to go already. They've got full move sets, completed models and all the programming is done for them, as of a month ago they only had to skin the models. This is Capcom, what are the chances of them NOT releasing those two? It's easy money, 800 points each would be my guess (a rip off, but it fits with 300 points for the costume packs).

Enjoy. It's the single most annoying install i've ever had to do. It took 3 hours, mostly because the game wouldn't update! Hopefully they've fixed the glitch by now though...

Download for me this year, the line-up is incredible so far! Dreading the stage splits though, if they put The Prodigy and Faith No More on at the same time i'm gonna crack up! They need to clash with Def Leppard, because i couldn't give a hoot about them :p Might go to V or Leeds/Reading again, will see. Kinda feeling a break is needed from those two though.

Well, it's out! Got it earlier today, really enjoying it. As usual though it's really, really confusing, should take a good few weeks to get to grips with it! So much is done differently!

A passive 4670 would serve you pretty nicely for that i'd think. It's a pretty powerfull card really, not a gaming card by today's standards, but it's good enough for anything around today on at least medium/high settings (should manage high at 1440x900 and below). For a cooler go for a Thermalright Ultra Extreme or Xigmatek HDT-S1283. No other coolers come close to those two, should keep the temps nice and low and the noise down It'd also look at whether or not the Q6600 is a good idea for your system. The Q8*** and Q9*** series processors run cooler (meaning less noise caused by the CPU cooler and a lower power draw). Oh, and some sort of vibration-killing hard drive mount would be usefull. You'd be suprised how much noise in a PC is down to vibrations!
-
I agree with the DLC part, anything that is ready for release by the time the game goes Gold shouldn't be charged for really. A few months after release and i've got no problems with it.

This is genius! Tempted to make one at work tomorrow!
