IPTV is TV down the internet. It's the future, it'll let you control every aspect of the show you watch (when i starts, when it stops, fast forwarding, rewinding etc.)

You also have to worry about other people, when food and weapons run low they'll be even more dangerous than the zombies. Wandering around a city in that situation = suicide

Use the power of science people! My shopping list: 2 barrels of Saltpeter 1 bag of charcoal 1 bag of sulphur 1 pestle and mortar 1 reel cotton rope 10 cotton handkerchiefs 1 reel synthetic wire 2 spare cans of petrol 1 cooks torch 1 super soaker 5 cans WD40 Lots and lots of canned food (the tins make good grenades) Safety goggles + welding gloves (don't want to end up mortally wounding myself eh?) Who can tell me what i can make from this little lot? Living a mile away from the nearest village i've been nominated as the safe house, we'd see the zombies long before they'd arrive! In the team we have 2 engineers, 1 close combat expert, 1 pyro (me!), 1 getaway driver/fire arms supplier/expert, and 2 lackeys. The plan is to set traps around the local area and then lay low for a week, setting watches 24/7 on all 4 sides. We'll use that week to mod my mates land rover to carry us all, along with sufficient ammo, pyrotechnics, food and fuel to get us in to the Scottish Highlands.

Is that supposed to be a watercooled gaming rig or a silent pc? Nice spec, but if you're after a silent computer you've picked the wrong components Try having a read on this site: http://www.silentpcreview.com Personally i'd go for an Antec P182 and then add passive coolers to the CPU (Scythe Ninja) and GPU (Arctic Cooling S1 + Turbo Module). The P182 has rubber grommets for the drives which will eliminate a reasonable amount of drive vibration noise and swapping the CPU and GPU fans with passive models will remove the 2 noisiest fans in the system. That should make the system pretty much silent. Water cooling is very expensive and unless you're going to superclock the thing it's not really worth it. Vibration from the drives tends to drown out the case fans any way, so watercooling if a waste of time unless you've done this to you're PC and still find it too noisy.

I remember, he hacked the forum and could basically do any shit he wanted? Right? Man, if only that could happen again! Nope. He got banned because he'd already been banned, under the name of Fields.

They win both ways, but HD-DVD had the added bonus of pissing Sony off. Now they'll just have to settle for making lots and lots of money. Hard life, ain't it?
-
lol gah! you beat me to it....

DVDs are too cheap at the moment. I, like most people, will stick with those until someone can offer blu-ray movies for under a tenner. More likely there'll be some other format long before that happens

i've been logging in and out, every so often it just crashed and takes my 360 with it very annoying

The best brand of HDTV? And specifics? Where SDTV is concerned you want to look at HD-CRT, then Plasma, then LCD. For the first two just find a good model and you'll be fine, but for LCD i'd go for a Philips or Panasonic. All the models i've seen look cracking with standard def tv displayed! The 26" and 32" versions are supposed to be pretty good, so i assume it's the same for this one. A word of warning though, apparantly the sound is crap

Woohoo! The American blame culture is spreading! You are not entitled to compensation as Live breaking doesn't break the law. Technical faults happen, just live with it and accept whatever good will gesture is thrown you're way EDIT: Hmm, Live is still broke for me Other people having trouble or could it be my 360?
-
thoughts on it so far? (without spoilers plz)
-
Just got The Witcher! Will install it tomorrow i think

Bugger I want HDMI!
-
My 360 is on it's way out Keeps crashing and won't load the dashboard or any games when signed in to Live! About time too, the warranty runs out at the end of February

I play sitting down, no problems here. Hopefully have a GHII guitar soon to compare it to

Hacked my touch a few days ago, works pretty well for games! Can't wait for Apple to launch the SDKs now so we can get some proper games and apps (i.e. ones with a decent amount of funding that tie into the UI better)

I hate customers that ask one word questions. You know, the ones who walk up to you and say 'Pate' or 'Cheese'. WTF am i supposed to do with that? The number of idiots that buy smoked wish thinking it isnt is unreal too. The massive banner that says "Smoked Fish", the fact that it's yellow and the product name stating Smoked just doesn't seem to be enough...

They used both, early chips used 478 and then they moved to 775
-
Arctic Cooler 7 then, it's more than enough cooler for that and 100 times better than the crap that Intel use as stock fans

What sort of computer have you got? The Freezer Pro is the best value for money, but you can't beat the Sythe Ninja for silence (on my buy list for sure, just got to pluck up the courage to fit a new GPU cooler)
