  1. I agree with Goron here, Brawl was a massive disappointment after me and my mates took the time to learn the amazingly deep fighting system in Melee. I was more excited for that game than anything else too, and I still have fun playing it, its just a frustration that skill is not as big a factor as it was in previous games. The thing is, most people never looked at Melee as a competitive fighter, but once you dive into it, it revealed a level of depth that was absent from Brawl. I don't understand why they thought that having the same level of combative depth would detract from any mass appeal that game had. Makes me sad.
  2. Happy bday Molly! Hugs and stuff.
  3. The very first ever was John C. Mcginley, but I got over that The ones that come to mind right about now are: Jeff Bridges - Or, The Dude Dominic West - Jimmy McNulty Shawn Elliott - GFW Radio, now of Irrational Games I think he - as do I - interpreted the thread as being to do with people of the sex opposite that of your sexual preference. Braaaap.
  4. I hate clubbing aswell. I'd rather take some drugs and sit playing Smash Bros with some mates the whole night.
  5. I'm never really bored to tell you the truth, I love having fuck all to do, lying in bed for hours at a time with some music on and day dreaming my life away. Also: I play Company of Heroes. A lot.
  6. By god this looks amazing. I actually quite liked Bioshock 2; it introduced some interesting aspects in the form of extended moral choice, but those only cropped once or twice, and it returned once again into the binary of save or harvest little sisters. One thing which that game did fantastically was the combat, I haven't had that much fun in an FPS for a long time. Still, it was inferior in terms of pacing, narrative and just...the mental memorabilia you take with you after its done. Irrational is one of the best studios out there, so hopefully this will more than live up to the pedigree. I just hope they've made an improvement on the actual mechanics of shooting etc, and that it isn't a step backwards from even Bioshock 2.
  7. I'm a complete philistine when it comes to clothing, and the majority of my shit is either metal or Street Fighter tees, flannel shirts, and jeans. I don't go clothes shopping often though, so when I do, I don't mind spending a bit of cash so long as the quality of the shit is half decent. I would be marauding in a leopardskin catsuit if my girlfriend didn't dain to help me choose clothes from time to time.
  8. Battlefield Heroes, Quake Live are a couple of good browser based ones. Other than that, yeah Steam has some, especially Alien Swarm, which is just fantastic. They're making Company of Heroes free to play soon, which is ridiculous, and great, since its one of the best games ever made.
  9. Tatsumaki Senpuu-Kyaku!

    SHORRRRRYUKEN!!

  10. I have bought this game. Now I'm gonna need someone to be my Sensei.
  11. This sucks the undigested sugar puffs from goatse's asssss.
  12. I don't think very much, at least not in a very structured way. I tend to day dream a hell of a lot, which I think is probably the source of much of my oddness. I like to think I'm pretty smart though, and that usually comes out when someone pisses me off =p.

    Gym?

Daft, if you're a regular goer like we are, it gets pretty difficult to know when you're worn out because you're rearing for that daily dose of serotonin and dopamine. I think you get an inkling when you start working out though, if you feel a little achey, or if you can only manage sets with a lower amount of reps than normal. Give it a break once in a while yo . Just ran. I found my perfect tracklisting for it too, keeps me going without glancing at the timer, which I find helps me not get bummed out at how much longer I have to go before I deem it ok to stop; Chemical Bros - Under the Influence Chemical Bros - Block Rockin' Beats Hudson Mohawke - FUSE Sebastian - Walking Machine Hudson Mohawke - No One Could Ever Yeasayer - Ambling Alp. Before I know it, thats 30 mins down and I feel great .
  14. They don't have to be, but inevitably you'd want them to be, right?
  15. Nobody in my family has gone bald, and that includes my extended family. One of the few perks of my mainly borked genetics. But, if I was going bald, I'd be sure and shave it all asap; male pattern balding is not flattering.

    Gym?

I've been laying off the weights recently, and just been running everyday for 20 minutes, with the incline set to 6.0 and the speed at 10km/h. The sense of contentment and well-being after a weeks worth of running is amazing. Think I'm gonna keep with it, until my new batch of pwoooootein arrives, at which point I'll add a short cardio sesh to the end of my weight training. Going to try to maintain my 80kg weight, while losing a bit of fat, getting a bit chubby, since I eat a lot of red meat and oily fish. I'm good for Strength, I can bench my body weight, which is where I want to keep it, rather than getting oversized, although I think my legs could use some work.
  17. Yeah, I get them. It's not as big a deal for me though, since I'm not in fear of mistaking a mosquito bite for my scrotum.
  18. Nah, I'm watching the Trekkies documentary. Trek fans are like Scientologists.
  19. That's because the borg doesn't experience emotions, bro.

Yeah, the Phoenix Wright series has some great music, as far as videogames go. Definitely one of my favourite series on the DS, unfortunately, Ace Attorney Investigations is pretty lacking on this front. I've been playing for 6 years, might put up some ridiculous game themes on here.
  21. I actually really like Banana cake, but my favourite has to be Chocolate sponge.
  22. Tell me about it. Not literally, but, my second month at uni was just the most miserable story of rejection by this girl that I had been pining for since I met her...a week before. Turns out she's mega religious. Jesus is such a cockblocker.

    Nice Phoenix Wright Cover.
  24. I really want this, just because its Starcraft, but I prefer the RTS style that Relic has propagated. A bit more thoughtful and not about just dirt farming and building a huge army and sending it forth with crushing power. Screw it, I'm just gonna go right back to Company of Heroes
  25. Sweet photos Eenuh =D.
