  1. This game is fuckin sick. So far though...I prefer the first two.
  2. Dawn breaks like a bull through the hall, Never should have called But my head's to the wall and I'm lonely. Also, just unearthed a bunch of Thrash records from years ago. I don't remember Testament and Exodus being this shit....dear Jesus they're awful. On the other hand, I don't remember Kreator and Possessed being this good either...Seven Churches is pretty...interesting...
  3. Hey, I have a nice ass. I would
  4. *Looks at thread title* Why the fuck are you here?
  5. As above, when anything is posted in dark red text, it's indisputably correct
  6. Started Metroid Prime 3. It's amazing so far, but it just doesn't feel as huge in scale...in fact, it doesn't feel like Metroid . I guess I'd like it better if it was just one huge interconnected planet rather than a few small ones. Who knows though, I'm only two and a half hours into it.
  7. "If my heart could write songs they would sound like this" . It's never over...my kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder... Oh crap...now I'm gonna be down the whole night...
  8. Sex is overrated in so many ways it's unbelievable, like most of my friends who go to student bars just to pick up easy chicks, it's like, why...? It's cheapening and degrading. It's amazing when it's with someone who's more than just a piece of apparatus to satisfy yourself with though.
  9. 5 sequels to Chrono Trigger please. That would be ace.
  10. Hey, at least the guys that write the script are fairly literate ...not like the guy/ape mutant who wrote the story for Mario Galaxy.
  11. I can't be arsed anymore, mainly because I'd rather have sex, and secondly because I've lost my imagination/ libido, and I'm pretty anti porn.
  12. Yeah, thats by Pinter. I wish we'd done Godot for A level, did Look Back In Anger instead.
  13. You know, it's wierd, but Nile gigs don't usually have pits at all. It's usually just the crowd staring in awe at the stage, pretty much hypnotised. Best pit I've been in would have to be wierdly enough, Chimaira, even though Hatebreed and Slayer were on the same bill, they were without a doubt the most brutal pits ever. It was right after Impossibility of Reason came out, when they actually looked like a very promising band. My friend somehow got this really long dark bruise along his chest that looked like a slap mark haha.
  14. Waiting for Godot is a pretty entertaining play. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern is better imo though. Has you read The Caretaker?
  15. Generally the beefy man arms. Of course, if it isn't a guy, the third picture makes sense.
  16. So do I mostly, but then, I hate most death/ black metal, even though Nile, Decapitated, Behemoth, Deicide and Emperor are a few of my favourite bands of all time.
  17. Houjoue, Merzbear, Boris collaborations, vegetarianism... dude, don't insult me . As for "experiences," ever been to see Sunn playing through the basement in a cathedral so the floor vibrates?
  18. Eh? Yes it does. Well crafted or thought out songs and simple songs aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. It where they're badly thought out, and formulaic that it gets shitty. The "good" feeling, eh? That's more than a little vague, but ok. Er, no mate. Where do you think the phrase "holy shit" came from? No, I would not, but then, I doubt I'd talk to you at all, face to face. It's different on a forum because: fo·rum n. A public meeting place for open discussion. A medium for open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper, a radio or television program, or a website. A public meeting or presentation involving a discussion usually among experts and often including audience participation. A court of law; a tribunal.
  19. Frank Zappa is a king, but I guess you're too busy to hear that, because you seem to be under the delusion that all I listen to is shred. I don't. I don't even like shred, it's boring to listen to. I learned how to do it so I have the ability to do whatever the fuck I want as a musician. My developing interests as an instrumentalist are different to my interests in music. Now kindly shut the fuck up and stop objecting the same fucking thing over and over. We get it, you don't like solos. Personally, I think it's all bout the tone of the song. Would you want a solo in a song like Numbered Days? No. Would Stairway be the same song without the solo? No, it would not.
  20. Apart from grammatical inaccuracies, you clearly don't read what I post. As for insulting people, the truth is often insulting, especially since I skip the whole spoonful of sugar thing, or lube, and stick it straight up your ass, still, I'm not bothered; I don't come here to be a people person, or for popularity, people that like me do so cause they know I really don't give a shit whether they do or don't. So if you can cut the "oh I'm so offended" bullshit, and go ahead and point out what deficiencies you see in other people's tastes, without referring to cliches, well that would be a huge step forward for everyone involved. After all, it's a discussion. I wouldn't be half as pissed off if someone actually thought up a decent response for a change rather than "ugh...it's my opinion, respect it, damn you!"
  21. I can't help the way I am. Seriously, though, I just don't get how people can find anything to like in such over produced, repetitive monotony, made for deficient, inattentive pricks who make a mockery of what music is and can be... How does the music make you feel? Like you can sing along to it for 3 minutes? What does it leave you with when it's done? Fuck all. See? It's hard for me not to get worked up.
  22. Maybe...less calming than apathetic I'd say, but still weirdly self affirming. Some great lyrical talent to be sure. .
  23. I have a finite reserve of respect, so I like to think it's been earned before I dole it out to you worthless peons. Not only that, but "taste" is a debatable term when it comes to you lot, it's better referred to in terms of the complete lack of it . Also: The Shins are awesome. Thats because you're a soulless drone, forever condemned to plumb the depths of the emotionless and the banal. That sounded very melodramatic...Damn you Bill Hicks!!!
  24. I can't say I think much of your cognitive abilities.
  25. Yeah, for some odd reason, I'm looking forward to Machine Head the most. I've seen all the bands before, Dragonforce put on a very fun show, but they're really just dressed up 80's pop, the Head on the other hand, are always awesome live. Nothing more satisfying than shouting along to the chorus of Seasons Wither in all its fury. Seen Trivium three times, so I'm not really fussed anymore, unless they play some new stuff which happens to be significantly better than the last album. It's weird to finally have a metal band that create their best work fifteen years into their career, hope they keep at it.
