    I don't think that kinda screaming works for this band. In fact, I don't really like that sorta scream altogether. I prefer it to be more throaty and gluttural, more metalcore/ death metal I guess, less black metal. They're still brilliant.

    People take it legally all the time. Ever heard of dimorphene? Yeah, that's the fancypants name for Heroin. In it's purest form it's one of the safest drugs you can take; it's used in hospitals for epidurals and as a painkiller without a seconds hesitation. I wouldn't take it, mainly because it is a painkiller, and in the words of someone or another, "when I'm happy I like to think I've earned it," but as for it being legal, there are already more dangerous drugs available on the market. Not only to mention that opiates used to be legal a few centuries ago anyway. Again, I'm just pro choice.

    I'm all for Heroin being legal, but as for driving without a license, and drink driving, those things are potentially lethal to other people. Get some perspective.

    Yes, yes it is a bad thing. You're familiar with fascism, I presume? Where is the merit in forcing people to stop? That's not only an insult the the very sentiments that make this country what it is, but it's also something inherent in various religious dogmas. From what I remember of your views on religious doctrine, your attitude towards smoking seems more than slightly hypocritical. Banning smoking it's like telling a child to say sorry; it's pointless, because it's forced, causes nothing but resentment and inevitably means nothing. You can say "better health" all you want, but unless you're some supremely benevolent being, the ingenuousness of what you say is doubtful.

    I'm not entirely sure that someone on the verge of suicide is really going to pay much consideration to the law, unless it's regarding ways to avoid it. Anyway, I think it's entirely a facade. Most people don't give two shits about you. They don't. The only reason most people would tell you to stop smoking is probably due to some overwhelming sense of self righteousness, and so if something does happen to you, they can shake their collective heads in mock pity. My dad is the heaviest smoker I know, he (in a somewhat ironic display of injustice) is perfectly healthy. Sure, I worry sometimes, but unless you're closely related to the person, I just think you should drop the pretense. Non smokers die...Every. Day. Whoops, it slipped.

    Dazzybee, have you read The Spire, by Golding? It's fantastic, it essentially deals with similar things to that play I think, Solipsism, delusion, and with a good amount of Golding-esque pessimism and symbolism. It's a difficult read at first, but totally worth it. Also, speaking of plays, Waiting for Godot is on at the Library Theater, should totally go see that. Anyone up for a meet up in Manchester?

    Yeah man, I was already anaemic for a while due to ridiculous weight loss, and weed cuts off circulation to your scalp, hence hair loss. That's my theory anyway, maybe I should light up a blunt, see if it holds water, still got about an eighth lying around somewhere. Also: agreed, I don't want my reactions shot for the rest of my life. Pot isn't addictive though, so how come you got hooked? Or did you just stuff it full o baccy? Personally I used to use this really slow burning pipe tobacco, mellow Virginia or something, which was cool, had a fruity flavour. I'm not the biggest fan of inhaling burning vegetation though, so I think I'll try something else...

Although, my body clock is really fucked up: Currently wake up most days at 3:30pm, and got to bed as late as possible, the day after I usually wake up half an hour later than the day before. I'm gonna try becoming totally nocturnal, how fucking badass would that be?

    Hehe, trust the English student to see it as a symbol of freedom . Jokes. I <3 you. Rly rly. Anyway, I don't smoke, except for if I'm out with friends, and I'm offered a cig or two, I don't refuse. Also: I used to smoke weed, but given that up cause it made my hair fall out.

    Read Rime of The Ancient Mariner today for my interview on Wednesday. Mwahaha, now I can talk about how it's exactly like Crime and Punishment, which should make me sound suitable clever/ pretentious. Win.
