I work for Endsleigh (go Raw ) and we are usually good for young drivers. When we aren't we pass you through to a company called call connections. They are like confused.com, but more accurate and telephone based. Their number is 0845 2305492. Should get you a very good deal.

i was tempted to go, but I could never mind my mind up about the line up. Plus it is a very expensive festival. I would have gone on the saturday, but I'm working till 1 so it's not really worth it.

on my first day in my current job I accidentally deleted all the emails in the inbox, assuming that it was my personal email. It was actually the email for the whole office. I didn't own up, I was too embarassed, but I think they know it was me. That was nearly a year ago though, so it doesn't matter.

I just purchased myself a gym membership. I haven't ever joined a gym before, so I really hope I actually go and it helps me lose weight.

You're going to have to use your imagination a bit for this one, as the colour in my photos has really washed out. Plus I didn't have my camera on me the for most stunning ocasion. That is a place in Ecuador, in the northern andes. The colours should be far more vibrant, and there was alot more than just green and brown. The instance that this was the most beautiful thing I have seen was a sunset, with really orange light shining on the ground and the largest range of colour I have ever seen in a sunset, it was also suprisingly clear, so you could see the volcanoes clearly smoking in the back ground. I just stood there gawping for about 15 minutes. I am a big fan of mountains in general though, that picture of the alps Moria posted is incredible. This is a picture I particularly like from National Geographic, although the quality of work is so good that everything looks beautifull, but to me the conrast in this one really makes it stand out. It is Grand Teton park in the USA.

I am amazed at just how many of the albums listed were released just in the last 2 or 3 years! Sure there is some quality stuff, but come on people, see the bigger picture.

Just noticed your current avatar, and this is definitely the correct thread to praise it's awesomeness!

I had a mini spree today. I bought Borat, Casino and The Dparted on DVD. Plus I bought the guitar tab for 'Stop the Clocks' and a guitar amp.

my 360 doesn't play divx. do not get a cheap divx dvd player. I bought a cheap one and it's very picky over what divx files it plays. I would whole heartedly reconmend getting one though, it's very convenient and it works well.

I am really getting sick of the MP3 limitations on mobiles, and am considering buying myself a standalone player again. An ipod is out of the question partly as I dislike itunes and mainly because I have too much of my music in the WMA format to be bothered to convert it to aac, so please no apple battles! Currently I am considering either getting myself a creative vison m or an archos. My old player was creative and I really liked it, and I love the video compatibility too. Its a company I know and like and seems to do what I want. Archos seem to tick all the boxes of what I want too, but surely there is a catch with them, as they seem to be really good value for money. However, since I have no idea how much video I would be likely to watch on the move the smalled creative might be a better choice. Any thoughts?

Is there any way I can set my desktop wallpaper to be randomly selected on startup from a selected set of files? Due to my set up with 2 screens I will often have a monitor showing just wallpaper, and it would be nice to have selection of nice pictures randomly chosen.

sorry, i mean limited speed, which is essentially limiting downloads.
-
this is awfull. The reason why I am with VM is that it is unlimited download. I have no use for an ISP wth limits on downloads.

thats a cool program, although I can't really see much point. Mine is 2 hard drives. The one on the left is 300gb, and the right one is 160. edit - the is a use to it afterall, apparently I have 11 gb of jpegs, which is clearly a major waste of space. edit 2 - not porn btw!

I got 65daysofstatics new album, 'The destruction of small ideas'. I can't wait to listen to it, but I'll have to put it off for a day as I'm off to see The Melvins tonight.

I have a couple of good scars. I have a selection of very strange ones on my wrist from where I had keyhole surgery. They made a grid of small slits, them a big messy one at the side. looks very strange. I also have one on my knuckle from when, whilst bored and stupid, I decided to see if pepper mints melted. It turns out they do, and they burn insanely hot. It burnt through to bone. Looking back on it I am amazed that I was suprised that this happened...
