the days been petty crap so far. the lie in was only till 9:30, i just cant sleep in any more. I then went to tescos, where because i'm skint I had to add up as i went and keep it below £15.00. to feed me for the rest of the month.......... To make it even worse, I got to the till and relised I had forgotten my bank card, so I had to trim the shop even more and split £10 between cash and my credit card. How very pathetic. I cant stand this anymore, poor and lonely. I need a flatmate and more money. edit - and to make things even worse apparently i'm living in Da Hood, the flat on one side playing eminem as loudly as possible, and a flat on the other playing something similar at full volume. Urgh.

today hasn't been bad. Someone at work is universally annoying, and to make things even more frustrating isn't even very good at her job. Consequently we are falling way behind. She keeps saying she'll stay late, but then at 5:30 is straight out of the door. I reckon she thinks you get as much kudos for saying you'll stay as you do for actually staying. So, today i stayed behind for nearly 2 hours and finished her work for her. Bitchy and devious I know, but i reckon it should get results. And of course got me a shed load of kudos. I have also, thanks to Ashley, been writing again for the first time in ages. Its one of those stories that you dont even know if they'll get finished, but the act of simply writing down what you're thinking and feeling is immensely therapeutic. It's waaaaay to autobiographical so far for me to even consider letting anyone who know me IRL to ever read it though!

according to the bbc budget calculator i am £40 a year better off thanks to the budget, but i think that the gradual climb in petrol prices will absorb all of that despite the fuel duty increase being held till april.

yeah, but it sounds fun. make the TV show! i wrote a film a few years ago - actually write it, i think about 20,000 words and havent ever dine anything with it and wish i would get round to it as its a waste of creativity

my days has been ok. getting annoyed at work as i dont think my promised pay rise is going to happen. I also made the mistake of taking some home made muffins to work on monday, and today everyone who didn't get one was fussing me for one. The result of that is that I spent 2 hours this evening making 24 muffins, I am now sick of the sight of them! I think I may have invented a new type of muffin though - apple and blackberry with a custard centre. delicious.

i'm not sure if you even need a life plan. According to my plan I should have a Masters degree in Earth Sciences and working as either a paleontologist or a vulcanologist. That was the plan evn up to the end of 2004. Currently I am 23, with 2/3rds of a Batchelors degree which I intend to complete 'in the future' working a 9-5:30 office job as an insurance underwriter. And whats even weirder is that I actually like my job , and am reasonably happy with my life too. The moral of the story, Mr Ashley, is not to sweat! As long as you work hard at whatever you end up doing, and are generally not a crap person, you'll get somewhere better, and sooner or later be doing something you like. Sorry for sounding so cheesy!

thats clearly £600 that could have been better spent on maths teachers evidently more to the point, how has he cost the school extra money? fewer people taking lunch or smaller margins or what?

youth takes too much time and effort. mentally i think i missed all the years between 14 and 40 (i'm 23 currently). living on my on makes it much easier ot be aged, so i can do whatever lame thing i feel like doing. for example i have been making muffins recently, and experiementing with different flavours. no 23 year old make should be doing that

i'm really pleased with te results, first time i have ever even used a spray can -deoderant aside of course! no glaring errors or spray where it shouldn't be (apart from flashed ont he bumper, but that needs to be sorted so it doesn't matter). I'll try some t-cut for the rest of the car, although i do feel kinda stupid putting any effort at all in to improve the appearance of a 16 year old polo!

fantastic day here. I went to a mates for a huge day of food. He made a really nive ham and split pea soup, I made roast beef with roast poatoes, roast carrots, string beans and dauphinoise potatoes (really pleased with them as i'd never made it before). Also made muffins. His gf made a gorgeous banoffee pie. I wont need to eat for days! I also painted my car, and recorded the events for posterity. In a weird way I almost miss the extra character that themismatched panels gave it. Still the painted white bumper to get rid of. before: 1st coat of primer: 2nd coat of primer: 1st coat of paint: Finished!:

i love how he combines both the artistic side of cooking with the fact that is essentially just chemistry. really intersting stuff. it think he possibly takes it too far though!

watching his shows i thought jamie oliver was great, but actually having cooked some of his recipes they aren't that great. tomorrow I making a meal for a few of my friends, i'm using a jamie oliver recipe for carrots, gordon ramsey for the gravy, delia smith for the potatoes, anthony worral thompson for the other potatoes and jamie is back in again for the pudding (The muffins I baked earier today). On the whole I think gordon ramsey and gary rhodes recipes are the most flavoursome and well worth the effort. i would also like to note that all the celebrity recipes i'm using are getting a big lump of me thrown in too rather than shameless copying!

my day has been great. i worked till 3, which was fine as i like my job. then i went to halfords to buy paint - tomorrow hopefully my car will be 1 colour rather than 3! I also went to sainsburys and bought food. I went home and turned my sainsburys shopping into muffins, which are yum.
