i didn't realise you could get it on the NHS. Since I need to go to the doctor anyway, to sort out one cause of the depression (my wrist) I'll mention it when I'm there. cheers

my day was a bit crap. I was meant to be getting a salary review today, but it never happened. I'm also doing overtime at the moment, so worked 9-7:30. add in commuting and i was out fo the house for over 12 hours today... I think i'm on the verge of a major depression. I do get depressed every now and then, but I'm feeling really bad at the moment. I just feel like I'm pretending to be a real person and just papering over the cracks. I think I should try to see a counsellor, but I'm not sure I can afford it.

i'm all for that. I love quizzes. when I was a filthy layabout slacker/student the local pub to me did a quiz twice a week. It was awesome, there was free food and the prize was £20 behind the bar. My team used to win quite often so we used get fed then drunk for free twice a week.

its cos you're a layabout student with time on your hands. some of us are working 9 till 7:30 so don;t get to pounce on the midday questions like others can!

I'm currently an insurance underwriter. Real world, I really like the job, and the long term prospects are really good. Dream job: racing driver! At 23, I'm guessing that I have missed my chance especially at I'm too tall, fat and only got my driving licence in july... I'll just have to get really rich then do track days. Although I'm going karting soon, maybe i'll get spotted, ha!

Square? How on earth could that have been an answer! If you ever remeber I need to know!
-
you're in luck then! I dont know the answer and nor does google. Not a clue what it is, although sounds like a good book. out of interest, what was the answer you were looking for to the original question 7 cube?
-
very true. surely for an equation to work the unknown value has to be predefined as an integer/complex/letter or there are multiple answers available.

not stricly a purchase, just sold Call of Duty 3 (wii) and Custom Robo (GC) for a total of £50, enabling me to buy Mario Kart on friday. Excellent. I just need to find something else to sell so I can replace to wiimote i threw at the wall while bowling...

the used first album is excellent. They're another one of those bands who I feel ashamed for liking, but when an albums good you have to ignore shame!

8: there are heaps of differences between the centipede and the milipede, but i hope the one you are after is that the milipede has 2 pairs of legs per segment and a centipede has 1 pair of legs per segment.

my day was ok, although i think that this overtime is going to get annoying. 10 1/2 hours a day sat in an office. plus commuting. means 12 hours a day travelling or at work, and thats before i even attempt to have a social life. still, needs must.

i am starting to get really worried about my wrist. I am having problems holding my pen at work and driving. I wish I was registered at a doctor.... I finally saw There will be Blood today. Damn good film. Daniel Day-Lewis definitely deserved the oscar. Other good news - I have been able to sort out overtime at work, so I should hopefully be able to save up some money so that I can move in with some friends. If I save like crazy I can hopefully move in 3 months. Deposits annoy me! Surely if you have adequate home insurance then its unecessary.

i have recently been doing something very odd, and certainly a guilty pleasure. I have been having salt sandwiches recently, aka bread, butter, and a dash of salt.

bit of a boring day. I went to the cinema on my own for the first time ever. Saw vatage point, which I liked. then I came home, intending to tody my flat. That erm... didn't happen. I did do some laundry though. Then I watched 24 for the first time, its ok. Not as awesome as everyone on the planet seems to think. Seen the first 3 episodes so far, so maybe it'll grown on me. I was ironing while watching 24, trying to get the weeks work shirts sorted. But i had to stop, as my wrist and hand were going weird. For those of you who weren't members in summer 2004, i had an operation on my wrist then to reattatch the cartilage to the bone sort out some tendons. They said it might fall apart again, and I think it is. Which is really depressing.

i have been hit by several things thrown by bands, including Primal Scream's maraca. I have sucessfully managed to catch, rather than be injured by, a kula shaker pick (from their first offical gig after they reformed), a Fightstar drumstick , a Still Remains drumstick, a We are Scientists set list and a Coheed & Cambria setlist. But like Jav says, they only have any value if you like the band. Plus you cant verfiy anyof them, so they have no resale value. Just a nice thing to have. I have a CD-i too - pile of utter junk aren't they!

to say i am dissapointed in you for not getting it would be an understatment. well, no thats not really true, but i was pretty sure you'd get it. wheres the next round?
