  1. Oh gard!! Sorry dude. Will sort it all out later when I get in from work. Thanks for the reminder!
  2. I'm gonna get it as my free game in the recent promotion. Never played an Animal Crossing game before so this should be a new and amazing experience for me hopefully! I just need to sort my friend list out on my 3ds I added loads of people in jan but not many added back - whether they don't play on their 3ds' anymore or don't have them or just forgot to add back I dunno! But gonna get that done so I can have loads of animal crossing fun!
  3. For eShop games it's all about Mighty Switch Force and Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move. Those 2 will last you a while and are both great fun and perfect for a handheld. I also must mention Harmo Knight which is the most addictive and equally frustrating and joyous game! If you like rhythm games then you will absolutely love this! Those should keep you going whilst you enjoy all of the retail goodness on offer! If you haven't played Donkey Kong Country Returns on Wii - you must buy it for the 3ds. It's amazing. Even if you've played the Wii original, I'd still recommend it for the 3ds. Brilliant game!
  4. Aaaaaahh! Gotcha! I thought I was missing something! Cracking deal!
  5. I'm confused though @Dcubed So, you have an unused 3ds console code... So you would buy MH3 on your 3ds (unless you already have it) and register it with Club Nintendo. Then you get a recommendation code for a friend. You register your other 3ds system under say a fake mailing address, and get an extra download copy for that 3ds? Which you no longer have? How will you gain from that? Am I missing something here?! Coz I may have a previous 3ds console code myself that is unregistered so I'm just wondering how it could work in my favour, if at all?!
  6. That's it?! Tetris? Seriously?! Worst game ever
  7. Loving that you're loving the Vickers. I really need to check out Gabrielle Aplin. The singles so far have been good but not stuck in my head too much. I'm sure I'm gonna download it though as I am crying out for new music. This album drought is ridiculous! As for Stooshe - I can't get into it. I just don't like them. Their album is just full of them squawking over each other. Cockney accents don't help But yeah, disappointing.
  8. Shit RM. Regarding my ShopTo parcel - it arrived this morning. I thought it would, but not as timely as they normally are.
  9. I'm in the minority who prefers the original. I had an XL and then went back to an original as I found the XL model to be cheap, plasticy and more difficult to carry round. The only thing I liked about the XL was the bigger screen but even that came at a slight compromise as the resolution remained unchanged from the original model. So some games (NSMB2 in particular) looked a bit stretched and not as crisp. I have quite small hands and love the way the original feels. The XL is still brilliant though and it removes the glossy black finish around the screen which looks a bit cleaner on the XL and doesn't pick up fingerprints. But I just leave a clean cloth in between my console when I close it so that doesn't effect me too much. So yeah for me, original is better suited. Looks better (personal opinion), doesn't feel cheap, is more portable, crisper screen, much better sound from speakers over the XL, and I prefer the buttons on the original too. There's a nice click on the original whereas the XL felt a bit mushy to me.
  10. :p Me too. Starmie rules right?! And its jewel flashes! FLASHES!!
  11. Yeah I had an email at ten to 11 on the wednesday night I placed my order with a pic of the parcel / jiffy. That's just why I find it so strange it didn't arrive. Saying that, it's probably Royal Mail who quite frankly have been utter wank as of late with parcels / items in my area. Just ask @Mike1988uk !
  12. Quick question. Ordered Lego City Undercover for my 3ds on Wednesday night. Totally forgot about it until I saw an advert in a magazine that I was flicking through this evening then realised - where the bloody hell is my parcel?! Normally with ShopTo, if you order before 5 doesn't it come the next working day? I did choose just the standard free delivery, and I'm not arsed it didn't turn up as only bought it to get Animal Crossing free from the 'too many games offer', but just wondered whether something had changed since I last used them as I haven't bought anything from them in ages. Normally they're top notch.
  13. Well you can't kill me, as I haven't played it yet. And that wouldn't be fair.
  14. So they were on the eShop at some point then?!! Gutted. Wonder why they disappeared.
  15. Hahahahaha I fuckin love you Rez Amazing scenes! I now feel compelled to go out and find these games after I sent you into a frenzy with the revelation of me never playing them before!
  16. Happy Birthday guys! Hope you've both had a great day!
  17. Yeah Cube's advice is definitely the way to go. Serial number is a must. A note of your eShop username and password is also good if you don't know it off the top of your head. I'd imagine if you replaced your console after your original was lost / stolen / broken etc, then once Nintendo had unlinked your eShop account from the previous console (which they can definitely do), you will be able to link it to your new console and 'redownload' the titles you had previously bought digitally. This is just me guessing here, not cold hard facts. I just presume it would work in this way after my experience with the Wii U and unlinking my eShop from my previous console etc.
  18. Yeah it's definitely very impressive. And nope, this is the FIRST of these games I've played with DK in. Where can I get me some more DK goodness?! I call myself a Nintendo fan, but having only being introduced to them with the N64 when I was 8 it would appear I've missed loads of gems from the SNES even GB platforms! Shame on me. And you need to get on the 3ds! Even if it's just for this game! Now is the best time to buy what with the massive back catalogue of great games and all the ones coming the rest of the year!
  19. Totally hit the nail on the head @RedShell. Couldn't put it better myself. In terms of where I am with the game - it's currently on the shelves of GAME somewhere as I traded it in a few days after I bought it. Really, really disappointed. As you point out, the demo makes you think it's a game full of rhythm goodness, but the actual fact is it's more rythm mixed with Professor Layton! There's just too much running about from place to place and text to scroll through and people to speak to. I also found that some of the rhythm games were a little hit and miss and didn't work as well as I thought they would. Normally with a good rhythm game, I feel a great sense of satisfaction when I get a level / stage exactly right (HarmoKnight, Elite Beat Agents etc), this just didn't have that same feeling / draw. It is such a shame as I had great hopes for it but ended up being very disappointed. I could have spent more time with it to see it through a little more, but kinda glad I didn't hearing you haven't had much joy either. Good thing is it was only £13 from Blockbuster, and GAME's trade in is £17!! So you can at least recoup some funds and put it towards something else as I did!
  20. Hmm well the fact they've now announced a white Premium pack means they may finally start making the white feet for the console to stand up! Although I'm not exactly holding my breath as they haven't made the black ones available to buy stand alone yet, so more than likely they wont with these! Liking these new announcements though - even if they are a little random!
  21. I'm surprised there aren't more people playing this! Or it could be that there are but they're so amazed by how good it is they keep forgetting to post?! I am blown away by it personally. Think it's an absolute stunner of a game. How good is that 3d effect too?! I'm up to world 4 now and have been loving every second of it. Not been collecting all of the jigsaw pieces and have missed a couple of the KONG letters, but looking forward to going back and hunting those out when I've finished the main story. I can't quite get over just how good the game looks though. The background to a lot of the levels have so much detail, I often find myself losing balloons as I'm marvelling at the surroundings rather than focusing on DK! Been really impressed with the boss battles so far too. Considering most of the bosses just need you to jump on their heads a couple of times to progress, the way each worlds boss has been different to the last is really great. I loved the moles in the mining level - that was probably my favourite one so far! My only complaint (and it's no necessarily about the game) is the fact that sometimes the camera pans out so much it's difficult to keep track of what's going on. It's not too bad when you're shot to the ledges in the background (though everything it tiny) but the boss battle with the moles I just mentioned did get tricky when the camera kept panning out and I had to time jumps and bomb throws when I could hardly see DK! I guess those with a 3ds XL won't have too big a problem with that though, but my original made it slightly more tricky! Loving this so far though! My favourite game at the min!
  22. I finally made my mind up. I just put an order in for Lego City Undercover on ShopTo. I had £12 worth of credit with them (through points build up, mainly from Wii U purchase) so the game came in at £17. I intend to register it, play the shit out of it until I complete it (apparently it can be done in around 6-8 hours and looks fun enough!) and then trade it in at GAME for £16 and pick up an eShop voucher Got it all figured out! And will only be losing a quid! I'm now sat on about £150 of eShop vouchers with £30 credit still on my 3ds!! With Animal Crossing now being free there isn't really much I can use these vouchers on yet either! They don't expire do they, eShop vouchers? I mean before you load them onto your system? That'd be not so cool!
