yeah lock this before it goes mad again, there is nothing big. one thing tho don't really see how these games are programmed for the wii, the paintball game uses the space button, to me it just looks like a collection of mostly bad flash games, that ping pong game is naff! are they actually programmed so the space bar will translate to a button press on the wiimote i doubt it.

ooops sorry!

HMMM this has got me interested now, have heard talk of tools being released to help the development of this idea, so we could soon see our own games appearing even for those less technically minded of us. EDIT: just playing tactical assasion now, wot a game.

yeah just think EA put all that effort in to make it as accesible as possible as they know some players aren't going to pour over it for hours upon hours, (and for those that do the franchise mode is still there). Its a good technique. I'm fascinated to find out what will happen to fifa on the wii, see if they try and make that innovative or just rely on the classic controller. damn i want a football game for the wii.

The next generation of FPS control (long post)
flameboy replied to Edjamakated's topic in Nintendo Gaming
hmmm yeah does make sense, if I sit and read what you've written, its acutally how I imagined it would work originally when the wiimote was shown off, but it just hasn't. -
Virtual Console - All you need to know
flameboy replied to Tellyn's topic in General Gaming Discussion
hmmm liked the mario running across, but would prefer some kinda download bar, even if you keep the mario animation and its just a percentage in the corner or something -
ah right...now your point is taken more. I'm guessing that EA dont really expect to sell the Wii version to the hardcore Madden fans, but for everyone else picking a wii, its just helping to broaden the consoles range of software, which surely can't be a bad thing? so with this in mind surely it doesn't matter what the hardcore Madden fans think?

Wifi Worries, How can Wii get ourselves online?
flameboy replied to dannbrownn's topic in Nintendo Gaming
just get a wireless bt home hub, iv got one for my house plugs straight into your phone line, doesnt need to be connected to your computer, is easy to use and very speedy, i pay something like £17 a month, cheaper for the 1st few months. -
i don't think it is good value for money when you see all the bundles you can get with the premium pack at the mo..4 games and remote for £350 at some places. and 20gb is more than enough for some people. anyway lets not argue, this thread is about madden lets not forget.

never said I couldn't afford one, just not interested in getting one as aside from the flashy graphics there isn't much im interested in getting, GOW looks amazing but aside from that there isn't any other killer apps that make me desperate to get one, whereas there is with the Wii. and whats the point in getting a core, its not good value for money at all.

people that dont have a 360 maybe!?
-
im not really bothered to be honest the only imported game i've got is animal crossing and I have the ds version now so its no problem really.
-
at hmv we actually just replace their console outright for the first year after purchase.

sorry for double post, but this got reviewed by IGN on saturday and they seemed to love it: http://uk.wii.ign.com/articles/746/746697p1.html wondering what UK gamers views are on american football games, I am well into my serious sports title, but the lack of Pro Evo or Fifa is causing me to think about trying a new sport, my bro is into NFL and says its simple and the game should be good, are the rules hard to understand cos I think this is the biggest thing thats putting me off, that I won't understand the rules lol!

HMV = the worst f**king retailer in Britain
flameboy replied to darthbane2k's topic in Nintendo Gaming
yeah think maybe some retailers are getting more than they thought, the bloke at work said they were getting 1600 more than expected. -
hmm looks like it could be COD 3, I plan on getting both but only only afford one at launch so may have to be COD 3.
-
yeah i'd say about £20, whilst it doesnt look special graphically, it sounds quite playable, there are a couple of secs on footage on it on one of the original wii promo vids... whilst games of the zelda breed are all well and good, we don't all haven time to play epic upon epic something the wii will be good at catering for as we have lots of small playable games.
-
yeah this happens all the time, at work some people are on their 3rd 360 we even have one customer who is on his 5th!!!
-
couldn't agree more myself to be honest, wot a w@nker.

HMV = the worst f**king retailer in Britain

BIG NEWS HERE!!!! Was at work today at HMV, and as luck would have it one of the top bods from our central warehouse came in shopping, he said we are going to get 8000 Wii's (im not sure if it was at launch, or in the launch window), so this roughly works out at 30-40 per shop. However I expect Oxford Circus and Oxford Street to get more, and then the store I work at had 50 preorders so far and are 3rd in the company for games sales, and we expect to get ours for launch day. So if you ordered early you should be ok. Please note this does not count online, thats 8000 to the central warehouse for stores, the online service have their own warehouse in guernsey. -
I posted this once already, got locked lol, just gonna bung this in here, desperatly need any kind of creative writing it really doesn't matter what it is, just need to help.
