there is no point in them at all, i suppose if you have freakishly large hands and struggle to hold the wiimote side on the controller style grip thing might be ok. think wheels are pointless seem as a few racers have u tilting down and left and down and right to turn rather actually turning it like a wheel

they don't actually charge these higher prices now... we have recently launch our welsh dragon pricing scheme means we don't charge more that £13 for CD for £16 for DVD. and anyway you don't have to shop there...if everyone thought it was a rip off they wouldn't make a profit...

right as ive said god knows how many times, i work for HMV, and we still do not know how many we are getting at all, not even a clue and last time I checked we had taken 49 preorders and counting... and still taken £30 deposits, which does suck completely I know. Your best bet is to ring the customer services and make a complaint to find out. we've tried finding out from our head office and they can't give us any idea at all, it is stupid i'll admit. ring the customer services the number is: 020 7467 1109 EDIT doing the maths we will never get that consoles. there are atleast 200 stores (it is closer to 250) if every store got that many thats 9800, i can't see us getting that many if play couldn't fulfill 7000 or even close to if you believe the rumours. 2ND EDIT would also so they aren't the worst retailer in the country, (one of very few high street to be making an operating profit in the current climate,) they must be doing something good

Monkey Ball got a 7.0 on 1up (sorry if its been posted before) no matter how many less than stellar reviews I read of it, its not putting me off (even though I am still bemoaning the loss of the "purist" original monkey target, but i've kinda got over it)

yeah it will do, I've got my last uni assignment of the year in on 7th December, so I'll have that and some other January assignments to keep me occupied.

nice new images and good how it shows you what controllers you can use, and your wii points balance all on one screen. anyone know how much the wii points cards are gonna be? we have them priced at £29.99 at work, not sure if this will go down (which often happens, on launch day)

yeah me to at uni, got my tv and laptop on same big desk thing. guess the wii's internet is only any use for in the lounge maybe if you don't have your computer anywhere near it. I'll use opera once on my wii to see what it's like then not bother.

not a chance lol. you can bet someone will make one though..altho the wii's connect 24 always on service/regular firmware updates could mean Nintendo combat it regularly, could mean new codes having to be input often to allow games to run...

I'm gonna get: Zelda Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz Red Steel Wii Play (just for remote) Reviews havn't really swayed my views yet. I have thought about getting nfs carbon, but gonna wait for excitetruck. had thought about COD 3 but at the end of the day it is just a port with controls tacked on (admittedly some of the gestures are unique and look great) and really want Marvel Ultimate Alliance, but don't think I'd give it the time it deserves cos of Zelda so I leave it for abit, maybe get it in summer when there isn't much out.

Rayman got higher that i thought, im not at all interested in it to be honest, but may give it a rent to see what its like.

To be honest the Wii Shop is still up and running so I'm not really bothered. I just hope we are going to get new VC games every monday aswell....something i doubt will actually happen.

I do care abit to be honest, but not greatly. it would be nice to see it in the top 10 and would help champion the wii's cause as a controlling masterpiece, if the controls weren't up to scratch it wouldn't be getting all these huge scores... but to be honest, whether it it gets 90%/95%/98%/100% I couldn't care, it still means its awesome. have 1up ever given a perfect 10 to anything else? is this just a pokemon game like pokemon stadium? so no rpg mode at all? ill have to play a ds pokemon game to have pokemon to battle with? not really been interested in pokemon since pokemon blue, but online may sway me.

the only reason i say this is i've seen movies of the wii play menu and it has ? logos in place of some games and all the stuff ive read has only had this list of games: Duck Hunt rehash, billiards, ping pong, Pose Mii, laser hockey, fishing,find mii. also on ign it says:
