  1. It's been brought forward in USA to 20th Feb.
  2. hmmm.... graphics don't look good, and I'm no graphics whore but surely we should be expecting better than this? have to see what the other sandbox games are like although I thought the likes of Scarface are worst than this.
  3. well used to watch star trek loads when I was a kid have kind of grown out if but watched this, was kinda funny, lack of budget is obvious. like the comms woman from TOS (uhrua or something really can't remember) acting like some kind of oracle, but one thing the matrix music made it seem cheesier rather than tense!
  4. yeah but is it Maestro's decision or Nintendo's?
  5. didn't think debit cards worked on it only credit cards?
  6. ah well if thats the case won't be quite so annoyed..just frustrating that it crashed though.
  7. grrr, don't want Zelda 2! got it on the cube collectors edition....want Link to past so I can have all the home console zelda games playable on my wii GRRR... as for smw will give that a miss, got it on the SNES still.
  8. nah not that much a new controller, use the existing shell have somewhere to slot in the wiimote, and plug it in, it will be no different function wise to the nunchuk in how it works, would make cost of guitar abit more, but I'd pay it for one, really want guitar hero, can't be doing with buying a PS2 for it though...
  9. ok...maybe taking it to far, but the point is there none the less....
  10. yeah thats what I read, March is gonna be such a good month for games...
  11. loving that retro NES style one...
  12. but I'll happily sit with Eledes on an evening chilling...but also would chill with Manhunt, not simply for the violence though, obviously your talking about people who are of different demographics to myself. anyway different topic...one thing I have always wondered about Manhunt is how well implemented the stealth is, not just down to the shadow system but also how well the levels are designed both indoors and outdoors, I think it is easily up there with Splinter Cell which I have played a lot of and MGS (which I admit to having not played since the PS1 installment) and it does make me wonder how good a rockstar stealth game could be....
  13. thats very true...never thought I'd agree with you. anyway the violence doesn't bother me, like I said before it is no worse than you'll see in a lot of 18+ films, if this kinda thing offends you there is no one saying you have to buy it. You can bet the media will jump on this, saying nintendo's family console is selling out to make a quick buck (bet the daily mail have it as front page news) In the first game you didn't even have to kill people with the gruesome methods, the only purpose it served was to get a high score which helped unlock art work none of which was gory just concept art.
  14. well very pissed off with Red Steel today... Playing on the Geisha level, where you have to find the two groups, and got to a room with a big circle stage in it which has some blinds at the back of it leading into another room, cleared the room of all the enemies only to find nothing to do, tried jumping up on the stage, jumping up on it and walking around on the side kinda, couldn't do it. so ended up killing myself with a grenade and starting the room again, this time cleared the room and a woman with a sword appeared in the room part of the side of the stage opened to allow me up. this ever happened to anyone else? must be a glitch.... then about 10 mins after that the game froze and made a dull buzzing noise GRRRRR didn't have the heart to go back and play the level again was that annoyed. shame cos getting into as it gets better the further you get just annoying that this is 3rd/4th time it has crashed on me.
  15. to be honest doesn't take that long to load up the browser and get finetune running playing some tunes, just as long for me to boot up laptop and wait for virus checkers etc... to get up and running... not gonna comment on the apple rant cos just don't know where that came from....
  16. Ok boxart not as good as the original which was this for those that don't remember: the medical tag style however does hint at you playing a mental patient maybe? or being stuck in an asylum...rather than a convicted murder in the first game. one interesting thought I had, whilst most have said in HD a game like this would be sick, it is interesting to think what a HD version would be like from a graphics perspective, in the original the graphics were quite grainy apparently as a design decision rather than a graphical limitation decision as they wanted it to look like you were viewing through a CCTV camera. I just wonder if in the HD perfect of crystal clear imaging whether this feature would have still remained, and also do wonder if it will remain for the wii version.
  17. Yeah it is a bit like SAW in the way you get captured, but it does go very different in the end... As for the motions hmmm not sure would be really good tho
  18. I think Tiger should satisfy you then, seems to look ok from IGN's Hands On, as long as they can sort out the putting, which I think could actually be a problem just with the wii remote in general as they movements needed for putting are just so slight.
  19. didn't realise this was out quite so soon, not the kind of thing I'm looking for on my wii at the moment, want a good adventure to keep me going since I completed Zelda....does anyone know what this is retailing at?
  20. PSP...it is one hell of a collection and all for just £19.99, I'm surprised it's so vast, they could easily have split it in half and released 2 of them spaced out and people would still have bought it.
  21. yeah thats very true, if it wasn't for these little touches you would likely feel like you were just gliding past loads of scenery, especially considering you don't actually control sonic going forward.
  22. just watched the trailer looks awesome...
  23. I did find it sick at first, the up close murders when you sneak up can be quite gory, but nothing worse than you would see in an 18 movie. At first when I got it (for just £1 in an audit at work with no box!) didn't enjoy but the gameplay was just so finely balanced couldn't help but play it and then I really got drawn into it... The thing i felt about the game is it didn't seem to glamourise the violence, it had a back story, you were a character who is trapped in very strange circumstances and is merely trying to survive, you have the eeriy voices talking to you (which through the xbox headset was awesome) and it makes you fall into the game whilst there is no doubting the game is brutal, I dunno theres something about it, that doesn't make it feel violent for the sake of it....
  24. yep our own wii builds can only be a good thing. I think EA (never thought I'd say this) are going the right way setting up a studio to handle wii versions of games, a dedicated studio at that, so whilst they are porting they are soley there to do that, rather than cobbling together a version as an after thought. But that problem only exists whilst the PS2 is around, once its a dead console it becomes less of a problem. problem is if the PS1 is anything to go by it won't die out fast enough. but I'm willing to play the waiting game. I suppose it could be argued that we will see PSP conversions like Prince of Persia seems to be, but I think even this will die down abit as there are very obvious technical differences between a handheld and a home console.
  25. yeah i remember reading about it been modded to work or someone devising a flash thing to use for it, remember trying it myself though and to unplug wii cos it froze
