But is interesting to see them together, and does raise again the question of how this could benefit games. Also mean the wiimote and classic controller combo is just the same as the sixaxis plus with the pointer still.

Two newish wii browser based products: wiiminder.com is a a great tabbing bit of software, got loads of reminder, favourites storing stuff, and the tabs hide when you are browsing, seems to be the best one I've used. video of it in use can be found here: made by warp pipe. http://www.wiihear.com/ for wiihear which a bit like the finetune player but nintendo themed menu's etc.... seem to work fine in tandem as well, so can browse on your wii playing music at the same time.

well I've kinda sussed the spins, not done anymore than a 720. but had a fair few now...finding some of the platinum tracks hard to get any good decent kind of records, want those S rankings god damn it!

yeah awesome, still watch it, is on FTN every week! this and knightmare were my favourite programmes as a kid.

Until recently worked at HMV, and we were told by Nintendo that stock levels wouldn't be reaching anything like what you would deem a normal level until into March....

yeah just watched that, looked awesome, loved the comparison with the Zelda bosses, and from what they showed they are right. yeah looks like they had more issues with the mission structure, but they did say you don't have to do them all. they seemed to like the customizing of sonics skills. I'm definitly gonna get this, just a shame cant straight away will have to wait till april for student loan!

yeah it doesn't matter where you put them, I have my photos in various different folders and my music in various ones and have had no problems with it at all.. did you watch watchdog? people with the same 360 problem as you on there!

I still havn't got multiple spins sussed. right do you spin the controller left to right like a steering wheel, or tilt it up and down on alternative sides?!

thats the way I'm feeling, wot a nightmare if it is. I mean personally I'm not asking for something as indepth as xbox live yet. I'd happily have an address book update, whereby it says what games players have, whether or not they are online and if so what they are playing, an invite button, perhaps, just something simple to start with, but at the moment I can't see even that happening, or even something simpler.... I mean I know Nintendo want to protect minors, which is far enough, but surely they could incorporate something into the parental controls, so that the rest of us can get on with having some decent kind of service.

well I read that the controls are better done using the analogue sticks, think they may have said it on the 1up show as well. there are plenty of ways why motorstorm and excite truck, whereas Ridge Racer could just not have it implemented as well as them 2, the handling could be loose, I dunno plenty of reasons why one would work and the other would not. But if your saying it's ok, then fair enough, having not played I'll have to reserve judgement until I do play it. Hero-of-time don't worry your not alone, I can only ever do one never get two...

I am to, I can't believe people are saying these graphics are horrible. The reflections on the cars are gorgeous. The enviroments are so well realised, the draw distance is so vast, love shooting up into the air after a turbo jump and looking down on the track it's so jaw dropping. Ok so Motorstorm might have HD but I'm with you gimme Excitetruck any day of the week. Yeah I thought how awesome it would be online..I do hope they take this further and create a more fully fletched sequel. Again it does have the feel of tech demo in some ways, but a bloody gorgeous and fun one at that.... one thing I am pissed about at the moment is the last few days my Wii has taken to crashing, so annoying when I'm doing well on a track...and annoyingly if you retry a track it doesn't save your achievements until you go back to the track selection, by going on next when it shows how many you've got, was well miffed cos had got some super rings....

argh grrr the HD argument arises once again, but it is something I have actually thought about today. I used to love Project Gotham Racing 2 on the old xbox, it had great graphics for the time. Now when it came to the 360, wow how jaw dropping are the graphics? how realistic but wait does it really alter my gaming experience, no...its the same game with better graphics...now look at Excite Truck this has given me a sense of excitement that my experience of PGR 3 never gave me. So I guess what I am saying is that most of us have shown we don't care about HD as we have bought the Wii...I include myself on that I had long become bored of gaming with the xbox/gamecube just felt that everything was getting a bit samey the Wii and DS have done this... Anyway doesn't the Wii technically do HD, isn't it a misconception that 720 is the lowest HD resolution?!

I really don't think the air spin works properly it seems hit and miss whether it decides to spin or not, I mean you sometimes get it just tilting left to right, you sometimes get it alternatly facing the left down then the right side down.... But so I am loving this game, and is a lot more indepth than I thought...

so do we have to use classic controller or the cube controller with this, or can you use the wiimote/nunchuk just it has no pointer or motion controls? I'm not bothered either way just wondering...

nope not particurly my mate hasn't seen them and didn't find it any less funny.

well just completed the bronze cup, here's how I did on the first run: so had to do the second track again. so far loving the game,love the way the stars are the way to progress, you can win all the races and still not get enough get all the stars so means you have to go back and play again. love the tracks, even though they are bordered off still seem plenty big enough and plenty of routes to get tree runs in them. like the different ways to win points as well stops it from being stale and leads to you adapting as the tracks around you form and move and such like.
