Typically I'm an optimistic "life will sort itself out" kinda guy, but once in a while my domestic life becomes so damn unsorted that it begins to get to me. As shorty and nami can testify, I'm not exactly the neatest person around (Read: nightmare housemate). I let things get to the point where I'm filling bin bags full of bottles, newspaper, wrappers, rail tickets, empty tobbacco pouches... I let my laundry pile up in one of those industrial-sized laundry bags until I've effectively run out of clothes, then do a couple lots of laundry and live off them 'til they're done. I've lived in this room nearly a year and I've hoovered... three times? Probably more than I did in teh 2 years of living with shorty and nami. I got better with washing up when I moved out of theirs, doing it daily in my next digs, but here there's a dishwasher so that's no big deal. So today, after basically not getting any sleep due to my brain going into stress mode, freaking out about everything that is wrong with my life, I'm getting back on track and getting shit done. Slowly but surely. How many responsibilities do you guys have? Do you believe that an ordered house is an ordered mind?

I should really be expecting 9 or 10 pts... And I thought trios had to consist of one team from each league, ReZ!

I think my role in the victory cements the importance and value of teamwork that leads to great successes. :P

Consider reporting a post, or PMing an online mod/admin about it. We'll generally get on the case as soon as we notice it anyway (as you'll see, I noticed it a few minutes ago!) and we'll deal with the matter as discretely as possible.

One thing about man city was their full backs were able to play high up the pitch a lot of the time, making a lot of stamina-stretching runs. I really don't think they'll be able to pull that off against Man U's more organised team. The goal-fests both manchester teams seem to insist on producing each week so far are always a welcome addition to MOTD, in any case.

^I'd agree with that. Kuyt's a fairly reliable player and I think he'd be better as a supersub rather than relying on the recently flakey form of Carroll.

MOTD paints an interesting picture. It seems the manc sides are utterly dominant, chelsea and liverpool looked vastly inferior in comparison and arsenal just looked plain lucky. (Brighton won again wooo! :P)

I don't mind a big tournament after next season. Anyone who is knocked out can just have friendlies between themselves. Would mean nice amounts of form for everyone, non?

Yeah because paj makes a good point. On the face of it you guys are arguing about the pseudo-legality of chair knowing some/all characters, however in reality paj knows chair as a person, and as such it's not completely black-and-white nor completely fair to say that chair had an advantage. Chair didn't win so, ultimately, advantage is lost. Essentially, the discourse I leaped over is pretty much irrelevant. What I mentioned is something that I think can be claimed to be something that actually altered the outcome of the game.

Paj; don't worry what others say. The write-ups were interesting and it was a good roster of roles, just the length of time the game took really took it out of people is all. It's happened to many games, don't feel bad.

I'm sympathetic! It is a lot to do at once, regardless of how many people are in similar situations. Hopefully the coursework won't be too intensive -- and realistically the 2nd semester should be a lot lighter!
