... yeah I just read Dante's post about the interview, and it clears up that timeline mess. Also tells you that the episodes aren't back-to-back. Read the posts, people :P

Well I've been in (almost) the same boat... Well, the same stream, anyway. Approaching two years, and my girl started communicating with one of her Ex's, and didn't tell me about it. I pretty much read her text messages behind her back whenever I can - and I know she reads mine too. I don't mind. I believe that if you have nothing to hide it's ok - and I only believe that because I'd rather know what she is hiding than wait around and be told after the damage is done. This way, I can subtly bring things up (or not so subtly, as the occassion has been) and clear my own head about it all. Basically, she is allowed to see whosoever she pleases. She ought to bear in mind, and i'm sure she does, that she could be hurting you, or at least whipping the jealousy demon within you (and me, and in all guys). Trust is vital, though. I learnt to accept that she will see this guy, and communicate from time to time with him, because I KNOW she loves me and me alone. I am a firm believer in romantic fate, and if it's meant to be, it'll pull through times like these. I wonder if you yourself have been experiencing some cold feet or something, or if there was something that weakened your trust? I would say that the best thing to do is to think before you say anything heated. Think real careful. Really put yourself in her shoes, and don't hook up too much on the odd thing she's said unless you want to play the guilt game... In which case, hold on tight to "i don't know if I love you". Because I sure had to at one point. All because she is thinking about it doesn't mean she doesn't love you. Don't feel like you have to avoid all contact. Friendly (and i mean pretend your a friend, not a partner if you have to) texts are never bad! and good luck

not really too sure about teh Jacob reference, but I had a quick gander at wikipedia's memory banks about the biblical dude, and there's some stuff there about "pulling sheep from the flock", infertility, gateway to heaven... "Jacob is the only person in Old Testament (Jewish) Scripture whom God said He "loved"". Cool. His twelve sons were the forefathers of all the jewish tribes. Personally I think, Like the Matrix, there's too much hype about what could happen, and the show will never live up to it.

my take on the who-explodes-how confusion... Hiro Of Teh Futuur is not in sync with the timeline he lives in. After he's visited peter on the train, perhaps he did change the future (his present), and maybe there can't be more than one timeline at once - but he doesn't lose his memories, so when he goes back to the now 'corrected' future (his present), the way the explosion happened has changed, but the explosion still occured, so everything afterwards didn;t change. But something in the past before the explosion has changed, and there is another chance to fix things. Future Hiro never visited Future Hiro like our Hiro did in the future episode, which means things can still change. I'mjust writing this because i've caught up from episode 6 to 21 in the last 3 days and i want to take part in the thread I think that the key thing is, who will Sylar kill before B-Day? Candice? Ted? DL? Nathan? Are peter's dreams what actually happens, or more symbolic? Because Sylar's not even in those - unless he's already killed candice, and is acting as Nathan already. Blahblahetc.

... I saw all of that in a DAY... In fact, we only had a day to see Rome, and perhaps that's why I didn't enjoy it. Far too touristy. You can't even get inside the panthenon these days - just up to the entrance so you can have a look at the 'perfect dome' and that's it. And what on earth took you two days at the vatican? My local tescos is bigger.

I like to think of coincidence as finding someone else who has teh same jigsaw piece as you, where fate is finding someone who has a piece that fits. But I think that generally the modern world is unwilling to believe that 'fate' is an acceptable explanation for anything good or bad. People want REASON and FACTS rather than happy-go-lucky FAITH. I have faith that it was fate and not coincidence that brought me and Shorty to the same university, to the same accomodation (.. ok so we kinda made it happen ourselves, but there really is more to it than that). As for Eenuh's explanation... well the thing is, if it is Fate that made something happen, then you won't be able to tell until afterwards anyway (in general :P), so I don't think that's a suitable explanation all the time.

Well my advice would be just don't try to expect too much from it! You've had two serious girlfriends in, what, 20 years of life? There's no guarentee that every girl you kiss or have a date with will be dating potential. Just... see how it goes! I mean, I'm a firm believer in "if it's meant to be, it will!" and all that malarky. you have to remember that it was weeks, nay, months before you fully knew who your girlfriend was, and to show her who you were. Just go with the flow. YO! Enjoy it while it lasts - while you're young and not 45+. Because that would be scary.

... I know c.J. He's a mate of my dad's. He is pretty smart, but obviously not the smartest out of the four of them. he is a bit of a **** mosttimes. But I don't know anyone who knows more about The Simpsons! Also - He was on The Weakest Link twice - he won the Loser's special, and his prize was (at the time) the lowest ever 'jackpot' for the show. He doesn' like fruit or vegetables. ... NO! No, it's not that good. I've only listened to it through twice, and I like two songs so far... I know that they're saying they've evolved and grown up as a band and that their old stuff was from a raw band... but their old stuff was better.

When I saw a UFO in the sky from my garden at 1am, I ended up sleeping on the floor in front of my door. As if that'd stop any aliens, but it felt better :P Also saw a ghost and some other freaky stuff, and wrote a story about it (with pictures, too... Some of the stuff you guys have experienced sort of numbs me.. I mean, makes my insides sort of sink real quick at the thought of it all. I mean, I've seen leftovers of a few fatal car-crashes, and been in those positions where people are, for no reason, beating you up or threatening to. Not fun.

Damn, I'd love to have an unlimited pass.. but honestly I'd need a mate to get one too, because I've been to the cinema twice by myself and it's WIERD. Yeah - And maybe they'll start serving up some decent nosh and actually kit out the cinemas with more leg room, better seats and have the projector positioned so that when people get up it DOESN'T spoil my illegally haxord downlad movie. Sheffield ain't so bad - £2 on orange wednesdays is ace-tastic. Cheaper than renting it when it comes out. Always gotta buy food before I go in, mind.

Well, gee... I think I will work in the Off-Licence-O-Rama. Y'see, not only do I sell alcohol at cheaper prices than either of the pubs up the road, but I also rent DVD's and Games. Also I sell Pogs and Gogos and yoyo's and generally encourage Happiness. Also Skunk will be seen hanging out by the swings in the little park next door, if anyone wants to 'find' him..
