Euston's the next stop west from King's Cross... Blue line down to Oxford Circus (2 stops), then get on the central line to lancaster gate (3 stops) and voila! You're there. Hyde Park. Simple. EASY. No excuses.

Dude, I'm much the same. But ultimately, what's the worst that can happen? I'm just going to get pissed, smoke some fags, try to teach some people some card games, bump into things, say stupid rubbish, call everyone by their forum names and eat chips n' dips. There's no way you're missing out on this, I'm afraid. London can seem overwhelming to begin with, but trust me it's not too bad. I nearly always get on the wrong tube, but there's maps on the trains and stuff. It's still months away, if you are freaking out I can use my mad organisational skillz to give you a step-by-step list of how to get from where you are to where you need to get to. No worries dude :P Just a shame to see the pessimism. People complain that there's no meet up, then they complain when there is one. Quit doubting. It is happening. I for one am very much looking forward to sitting around with a bunch of weirdos not saying anything and feeling generally awkward.

yup. July 5th. As far as I can tell, the nearest tube station for teh park (and please, feel free to give me better information if you have it!) is Lancaster Gate - which is on the central line. There are other stations nearby, such as Hyde Park Corner, on the picadilly line. ... It's certainly not impossible to get to, just might require some thinking about I've had a quick look at some camping options, and there are some sites dotted about, mostly in east london near the outskirts. Pitching a tent is the best, cheapest idea I can think of, but not really a clue where... It will happen. It is happening. Even if I'm the only person who shows up :P Of course, we will all forget about this in due course, but I've set some reminders on my phone to bring this thread back a week before the date. It's on.

Taking a train for an hour just to stalk is effort. Not good enough. Don't worry about not being a drinker. I've recently discovered that nobody seriously tries drinking alcohol anymore.

Going straight for legendary is dumb. Even when you've played the game loads, soloing on legendary is gonna be a lot of repetition, respawning and trial and error. Play on Normal instead.... Or play co-op Legendary. EDIT: Shorty was a dumbass and posted this while I was still logged in. FOOL! All point and laugh.
