it's jayseven NE -- *points to signature :P* and yeah I'd be up for a game I mostly seem to play after midnight... Not done that for a fair while... lol, no :P Problem with concoctions like that is you tend to add other stuff to it and never remember the correct quantities for that awesome cocktail you made that one summer. All I know is; bombay saphire, fanta fruit twist, echo falls wine and fruit pastels is bloody brilliant in some ratio or other.

Wahey, another solid victory Scored nine goals in the lsat three games, all clean sheets, too. Unfortunately my next two matches are against Mono City and Edgbaston, the easiest teams inteh league (admittedly I drew against EU last time!) But my point is, the last 6 games of this season are going to be hard, very hard for me. I dont think I'll stay inthe top three. Also; I have failed to sign anyone, like, ever? Really is quite the annoying!

Just a heads up; I've got the month's free online membership. I added my gamertag to the list (jayseven NE) if anyone wants a game... I've got access to Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas, Halo 3, Streets of Rage, Sonic 2 and The Darkness and Team Fortress... I suck at all of them but I'm willing to share my voice with the masses. *plods off for some halo 3*

Yeah, gin and wine're the way to go. Bard; I weighed the least when I smoked weed regularly. Munchies perhaps, but I used to have to mission about over summer to get the stuff. Tonight I've been trying my hand at xbox32358 online and I really suck at everything. I'm going to give halo 3 another go, for achievement's sake I guess!

oh the campus isn't too far away; what's essential to know is how far away they are from wehre you're going to be living :P There's these cool halls out in the countryside in hudders where my mate stayed last year, with a pub and a bunch of shops on site. Pretty good social atmosphere there, just the buses are rare and take ages. I should try and remember the course my friend is doing as I have a sneaky suspicion it's the same as the one you want to do...

went to reading this weekend, drank lots of gin, played lots of GP2X F-200... er... well I played a shitload of master system games too! Had a great time A mate's just asked to come visit next thursday for a few days which will be brill. Been getting a bit peeved at myself recently; i.e. TOO FAT. TOO SINGLE and TOO HATEFUL OF WORLD PLZ. Not sure how to resolve these things; currently attempting the wine approach *thumbs up*

Well I look forward to feeling extremely awkward around several strangers wearing name-tags and perhaps fancy dress. I already have a BISH idea or two for the day, which could provide entertainment, as well as some team-based ideas and such. I will be bringing alcohol and some card games, I hope As for cost issues; it's going to cost everyone some sort of amount no matter where a meet-up occurs - hence more than one meet-up! I'll certainly try to go to as many as I can.

Nightwolf you talk as if only two people per year get a job from that course :P Perhaps have a gander at some student forums, see the consensus on the particular course from their perspectives. Talking to the module leaders would be good too. I could try and hunt some people down. I have some friends doing various I.T-ish courses who will know the department in charge of your course. If you're fixed in doing games for a living, then Aimless hits the nail on the flat bit; you'll need to further your further education with a masters. It's what all the cool kids are doing these days, and it's what the top employers (for a lot of jobs) are looking for. Stefkov; Sheffield Hallam's campus is dead in the town centre, Huddersfield's is slightly farther out, and the halls can be miles away. Come to sheffield too :P

Right, I was away for the weekend so I didn't get this started. As far as I can tell (I swear the names I edit into the list in my first post keep dissapearing..) I've got lists from everyone except; These unfortunate four. Razziatore! Sheika Dyson Tellyn I know it's been a slow game to start, but I just wanted everyone comitted. I will be officially beginning the game on wednesday night. and setting a time-limit then. If I do not have a list from these people, then they won't be playing! Well, this post'll get auto-merged, so nobody'll see it-- Tellyn and Dyson have been kind enough to send me their lists. Shiekah and Razziatore don't seem to come on much. This time tomorrow expect the full lists to be up in a brand new thread

I used to believe... Ok I still kinda want to believe in teh whole "one person" thing.. except it seems more likely that there's one type of person out there that is perfect for you. Everyone holds onto love in different ways, some people let it go easier, some people throw themselves headfirst into 'love' and don't hold anything back, thus losing everything... I'd like to say that i'm settled now, waiting for the right one, but in reality (as in, not some made-up rubbish in my head) there's nobody queuing, there's nobody coming along and there won't be, because I do nothing to try and find them myself. I'm probably just going to fall for the first person that pays me any attention. Worked before. Just gotta wait for that to happen!

It started snowing teh second I stepped onto the train yesterday, as I headed for the fairly non-descript weather of Reading. Got pissed, played some Go and lots of master system games, read teh first couple of pages of Vernon God Little again, this time with my new-found english-studies skillz, and... Yeah. Oh, there's this card game called Flux, which is really quite cool. Must buy it and stuff.

Well there's a place called The Plug, which is indie-ish, and they get a fair amount of live acts that all teh cool emo kids line up for from 12pm. The Corporation is the goth-ish club, one floor is fairly generic rock music and the lower floor is a bit more off the radar. Then there's the union, which has a host of nights through teh week - monday night is Pounded, quid entry and on selected drinks -- very popular nights, people tend to buy the tickets up to a week in advance. There's a lot of bars and joints on Western Road (or west street? I forget teh name) which are all studently packed. Personally, I'm not a big one for going out, so you won't be able to get the lo-down on much to do with night-life :P

Ye might need to define some criteria Fairly busy most of the time but never too crowded to move. Getting around can be a bit confusing at first, because the floor you enter the uni from is floor 5... The library's just had an extension... Well what do you want to know? :P Because PcPhee's already done his a-levels :P You're doing courswork still, silly!
