  1. Er... Bottom of the sea? I dunno. Stupid question.
  2. Ok so I'm not here for long -- my headphones are fucked. Trying to listen to a TV show all I get is teh background music. It's very surreal, but goddammit it means I need to buy new headphones. Er, on topic? Went to town and met Dan and Co. Had some drinks, went some places, danced some silly, now I'm home and eating a curry. Tomorrow is reading day! Woot!
  3. If you can select him for your line-up, then yes, he can play.
  4. My point being that there's only been two episodes so far, so saying TEH MOST WEIRDEST EPISODE YET!!! is kinda... OTT, no?
  5. THat's one of the worst posts you've ever made. And that's saying something.
  6. I'm living in my overdraft. Currently about £150 adrift from rock bottom. By the time payday rolls round I'll probably be at the bottom, then from the £600ish i get paid there's £300 towards rent, £50ish for bills, then £150 to live on and £100 towards clearing the overdraft :P My overdraft currently extends to 2010 then I go in and say "I'm still a student!" then, the plan is, get it extended to 2011 which should, hopefully, be enough months worth of £100 to clear the OD and then begin LIFE!!!! ... My housemate just got an £18.5k (plus commission) job. By the time I'm at £0.00 he will have saved about £2k easily. It's a long slog.
  7. I thought the score shouted "distinctly average" for an IGN score :P The review mentions the repetition, teh poor combat sections. Just had a look on metacritic (shoot me now) and IGN's is pretty much the highest score the game got. OXBM gave it 45... Seems apt to join the 'middling, rentable' series of games we have, like kane and lynch, dark sector, fear, prey, the darkness... yeh.
  8. I am also addicted to the melodrama.
  9. Is the Middle anygood, ash? I thought Flynn had already decided not to be a main character anymore, too. With VM I came home yesterday to find housemates watching it on E4 (I think?) and they said they've seen a fair few episodes. Hum!
  10. No work today! Weekend off. Diary fail. Old pal who lived with us in halls is visiting for the day, but unfortunately he won't get to see a lot of the other halls mates as tehy've got plans. Tonight is Dan Dare's party to celebrate the impending anniversary of his escape from his mother's womb, should be schwa. Been invited to go bowling with the work lot, initially by hot girl so I think she's over the panic and we can settle dust and jive talk, moon walk, bean stalk. Or just bowl. I want a bath. I have a bath in my house and I've not used it yet! Not had a bath for years.
  11. Haha Well when's he around? I was thinking teh 20th?
  12. Yeah, I think I was trying too hard I'm doing a wesley and remembering why I'm here! Last night after long hours at pubs, the police pulled up on my swagger home. They asked me if I was a student, I said "kinda," then they asked where I'd been, I said "Roebuck Tav! Good there." Then they said "ok baiii!!" and drove off. Today I had a shift at work, innit, with hot-girl-that-turned-me-down. I was feeling all "fair enough she said no, my soul hasn't been shaved, it wasn't as heart-exploding as I thought rejection would be" and just generally chipper and As Per, but she was clearly having Odd Head Stuff; trying not to be too smiley with me, while also trying to remain at the level of 'friends' that we currently are. I feel bad, but I found it quite funny. ANYWAY. If someone messages me on facebook while I type on here, it does a sort of thing where I can't type in here unless i click away then back again. Haden, you make it hard to type in here :P BWAHAHAHWEH... ehe... eh... Bleh.

    Gym?

Yeah, walking's the same as sitting down, isn't it? C'maaan! Exercise is ultimately burning the g'damn fat ye got. Do enough walking and you'll do that. At work I'm walking lotsandlots, and I've honestly lost weight just by doing that, and my stamina has increased (takes longer for me to start sweating...) so walking is exercise.
  14. Shit mate, you got flying mice? That's uber.
  15. Ah. IT WAS MAAASE! OH DEAR GOD! lol etc sorry.
  16. Meh. I'd prefer Southlands to Chuck, personally.
  17. It's not about accurate labels, Mr. Jones.
  18. I'm addicted to self-harm. *spelling cringe*
  19. Well I quite like Jonnas's definition. I mean, logically, whatever-it-is-that-happens-after-death is scary because it signifies the end of existence, which is scary because it means an end to the positive side of life. I think it's exceptionally rational to be fearful of it.
  20. Nyaw, I've just started watching it :P I have to say that
  21. I wouldn't say 'much longer' at all, and yeah playing through again I saw how the level design offered more possibilities for special infected. Still yet to give it a go proper, though. But then, I've always been more of a fan of the indoor parts of the game, for whatever unknown reason it is.
  22. If you kick out the inactive guys and aren't able to replace them, then we'll have a shitty league tbh. Less than 9 teams per league is too sporadic, too 'anything happens', y'know? That's not going to happen. He knows the argument and he'll have made up his mind one way or another.
  23. I think if anyone really, really ponders upon the qualitative elements of existence, then they're likely to get pretty damn sad about it all. A rational fear is - being scared of men running at you with an axe screaming "I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!" -- that is, fear of impeding pain/doom/negative stuff, when the pain/doom/negative stuff is rather likely to happen. Thus being scared of feathers, sponges or buttons are seen as irrational, and linked to silly psychological-childhood-trauma schtoof. Geddit?

    Gym?

I want to have a good overall fitness, and want to be able to lift larger weights more comfortably. So to do this, I just need to endure longer walks, and heave at hefty items. Simple as. Luckily I'm getting paid to do this currently! What a gym offers, though, is the option to really focus on a particular muscle or body part. I get the impression that after a while of 'working out' you'll notice certain 'elements' that need work on. etc.
