Redshell... loathed in Mario kart (when on the receiving end) but loved on N-europe! Happy Birthday!
-
Wait... didn't GameCentral review Another Code on the Wii pretty harshly giving it a 5/10? if it was them then I don't think they are worth saving tbh...
-
Could you contradict yourself anymore? you just said you love OOS but at the same time are dismissing nearly half of the album, some of the best tracks at that...

Tbf... I think my TV is a twat.

I think I'll take your opinion with a large pinch of salt given your dislike of Origin of Symmetry still though... why only 30 seconds? if you have access to the full track then give the whole thing a listen at least.

Woooo! nice one Raining *high fives* You were right about porridge btw, since starting eating it the other day I don't want to eat anything else for breakfast now it's filling and I feel much better for eating eet so thanks for recommending it. Will post the results of my weight tomorrow, but last time I checked - Monday - I was starting to put on weight again so I'm steadily approaching what Wii Fit reckons is the 'ideal' part of the scales for me, I know I've still got quite a way to go though before I'm a truely healthy weight but I really feel like I'm on the right track now.

Country is better to live in, City is just more convenient...

That... could be potentially bad-ass!

He wants to be the very best, like no one ever was

Definitely, I just meant that it's nice to see that she takes her vocals seriously even if the songs themselves are more fun.

This... her style is different and her voice is likable, I don't think she sounds bored when singing, quite the contrary, she sounds like she's having fun singing most of the tracks but still manages to perform them in a serious way.

How anyone would prefer the PS3 controller over the 360 pad dumbfounds me. ------------------------------------------------- Back on topic, if done right, this should be one of those defining games that really shows what can be done with the Wii, though I have to wonder if Ubi will keep this exclusive once the PS3 motion controller comes out... Nvm... what matters though is that we are getting it first for the console it was intended for but it does make you wonder how many people would be willing to wait if it was announced for the PS3 also as a Red Steel 1 / 2 pack with redone controls for the first and polished up graphics for both, not that there's anything wrong with the visuals for RS2 of course, it's looking excellent for the hardware it's produced for.

Yeah, there is nothing wrong with liking artists like La Roux, they are decent afterall even if it's one of those albums that's played a lot within the first few weeks and then sparingly after. Anyway lol it's not as if you were comparing Radiohead to La Roux, just stating that they are another band that you are interested in, I like both too for that matter.

*nods* this is why I do love to listen to them now and again, their lyrics carry a lot of truth to them which can be related to easily but not only that, they relay them in an excellent manner... 'After sex, the bitter taste, been fooled again, the search continues' Standout line from said track but yeah, a very enjoyable band, I think I will pick up intimacy on the cheap too soon when I next see it.

Game - £14.99 >.> but worth it... Ty Flinkeh! I'd only actually purchased A Weekend in the City before but I know that I like them, they aren't a band that I rush out and buy everything by but when I see their albums priced as low as that, I can't resiiist! It is indeed a quality album, gave it a listen earlier.

Sweet, thanks for that Paj, in that case I won't listen to the two I've picked up straight away - well maybe a quick listen - and I'll keep my eye out for the rest, I'm in no rush to get it all but will definitely be checking out the discography in the not to distant future I reckon.

The whole of Kid A is quality as is the Bends and OK Computer... those are the top three Imo but really I love all that Radiohead have done so trying to order them is purely me being nitpicky... But as for any songs of theirs that I dislike... nothing really springs to mind, that - for me - is the mark of a truely excellent band.

Personally I love the whole album, I was just agreeing that it's an excellent track but yes there are better tracks on the album.

I find truth in this... many of my favourite albums I give a long rest inbetween plays if I'm familiar with them until one day I think 'hell yes, it's time!' and then listen to that album... being instantly reminded of why I love it so. -------------------------------------------- Paj! so I've listened to the entire workings of Kate Bush recently - which I love - and I'm in partial agreement with your list posted a few pages back, both Aerial and Hounds of Love were standout albums for me, as for the rest... I can't place them yet but I will no doubt listen to them all again at some point. Also I picked up some Peej today... was flicking through some CD's in an independent music store and couldn't resist Stories from the city / sea when I saw it for £3.50 plus her latest colab album with John Parish for a reasonable £6.95... have yet to listen to them but was curious as to what your opinion is of said albums? I figured after enjoying Kate Bush it occured to me that I might enjoy a bit of P.J as well.

Agreed, one quality track from an excellent album, I do love Radiohead, they are a band that I come back to often, I used 'Fake Plastic Trees' as a test for a pair of travel speakers I bought today... audible awesomeness proceeded to resonate from them.

Glad to hear about the delay tbf, means they will add more stuff / it'll be more polished, well it had better be the case anyway... 'cos if it isn't... *shakes fist* [/Homer Simpson]

Went into town today and got... CeeDeez! Bloc Party : Silent Alarm, Maximo Park : A Certain Trigger (2 disc version), PJ Harvey : Stories from the City/Sea, PJ Harvey & John Parish : A Woman a Man Walked By. Only paid £3.50 each for the Bloc / Peej ones, £4.50 for the MP 2 disc - wanted it for the live CD / collectability - and £6 ish for the Peej / Parish album. Speakerz! Travel speakers for when me and my bro go to Sonisphere and tbh for £17 I'm pretty damn impressed, they don't sound tinny, have just enough bass / treble and are foldable, only downside? they take 4X AAA batteries but fortunately I have a bulk supply of those - incidentally if anyone needs any of those batteries just ask as I have rather a lot, probably more than I will use and will sell them for cheaper than eBay prices for the brand that they are - probably. Sonic Bag! My bro suggested we get a bag to carry supplies with us in at the festival, so I saw this retro styled 'Sonic Midi Console Bag' and I couldn't resist!

Haha, they are epic aren't they? I remember when I made a quadruple fried egg sandwich... eeet was sooo good. *hugs Raining* I hope that you get the money that your owed by work, you work damn hard, it's wrong that people at another call centre get more for doing exactly the same job so I hope that they put it right. Also, I hope your wrist gets better soon sounds pretty painful / annoying, that's how it was for me when I injured mine at work once, it's ok now but will never be the same. Hells yeah! orange choc-chip brownies for all! chuck one my way plox?

This could have easily gone in the 'Future of Motion Plus' thread but anyway... to answer your question Stuwii... no it's not possible for Wii motion plus to be implemented retro-actively afaik, the games themselves would have needed to be programmed to receive updates / patches in advance plus a hard drive would probably need to be employed, plus it's probably not worth it.
