Ah cool, I was thinking of going for a pre-build from Mesh... http://www.meshcomputers.com/Default.aspx?GCLID=CKK3wevFuZwCFVUA4wod5l-vnw&PAGE=PRODUCTVIEWPAGE&USG=PRODUCT&ENT=PRODUCT&KEY=548528 Specs * AMD Phenomâ„¢ II X4 955 Black Quad Core Processor AM3 (3.20GHz, 8MB Cache) * Genuine Windows Vistaâ„¢ Home Premium with Service Pack 1, 64-bit - English * Super Tower 98 XGS+ Xtreme Gaming Chassis - Black Mesh + 700W PSU * ASUS M4A79T Deluxe Mainboard - AMD 790FX CrossFireX- AM3 Phenomâ„¢ II, DDR3 - ATX * 8GB 1333MHz Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM - ( 4x2GB ) * 1TB Serial ATA 2 Hard Drive with 32MB Buffer * Samsung 22x Dual Layer DVD Writer Super Format +R/-R/RW/RAM * 1GB ATi HD4890 Graphics accelerator DVI, DirectX 10.1 PCI Express 2 * 7.1 High Definition onboard sound card - for 8 Channel Cinema sound * 1 Year Hardware Warranty - Return to Base Parts and Labour (UK Mainland only) It comes with a 700W PSU, now I reckon that's more than ample for that setup surely? Also they offer a free upgrade to Windows 7... that's gotta be better than whatever version of Vista it comes with I'm guessing? If I had the choice I'd stick with XP but I heard that Windows 7 - even in it's early days - is more reliable than Vista has ever been so it seems a no-brainer to me unless there are a load of compatibility issues. Sorry for the thread-hijack, :/ I just had a few questions so I figured I'd ask them here rather than create another thread.

Metallica are awesome, I can't say I listen to them all the time but every now and then I do, plus GH Metallica is really fun to play, saw them live recently and they were excellent.

Quick question - do Mesh PC's tend to use quality PSU's? I'm considering ordering a new PC from them soon so was just wandering.

Three guesses for who I listened to today...Uh huh her...Peej that is another really lovely album, starts off in a delightfully dark manner and then seems to get a little lighter towards the end with some interesting intermissions along the way, very enjoyable anyway. Also just found out that I won Selmasongs and Vespertine for 86p and 99p respectively! needless to say I was pleased.

The fact that the game is being released is good enough for me... even better that it's coming out in 2010.

Meh, I should be thinking about moving out at some point soon too but it's painful to even contemplate... not because I don't wanna go but more the financial implications and the amount of stress buying / renting a place brings about. :/ It's something that's gotta be done though at some point but whenever I think about it, it seems like a lot of hassle moving stuff etc... of course it's worth it but just hurts to even think about it right now.

It's here... http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category/music/watch/v18905594RrPNQ5N3 there is a slightly annoying 10 second pre-load before the video and a pop-up but the video appears to be there, enjoy. That is actually a brilliant video... it's not even that explicit really because most of it is cleverly concealed but nonetheless, captivating to both see and hear.

I saw those when looking up her discography and all I have to say on that matter for now is... we shall see. Besides, I now have more than enough to listen to at current... I'm still working my way through Peej and I have Uh Huh Her, White Chalk and A woman A Man Walked By to go, plus... I've just discovered the thirteenth track on Stories From the City / Sea that I somehow missed when it was playing on my iPod *listening now* liking it a lot.

That's why I thought it would be an interesting album to get hold of, it was one of those albums that I found out existed and then made it my mission to seek out, as for the price, I don't really want to say... but lets just say that the other albums that I've bid on / ones that I've bought have only cost me between £2 - £3 ish each - one was even about £1.70ish I think - so it balances out somewhat. I wanted to get the soundtrack albums as well because they seemed interesting plus they seem good for the price I'm hoping to get them for... so we shall see anyway. This... I listened to it properly today and I liked it a lot, some further listening is required but the singles are particularly strong and the collab's are really pretty damn good.

Shit, that's actually really shocking I'm sorry to hear that... makes you think how easily tragedies like this can occur, I feel bad for his family. R.I.P

It would seem that I am the Hunter... ...of Bjork CD's that is I decided to track down what I could and atm I have bids on... Restraint 9 Selmasongs Vespertine Medulla Volta And I've just bought... Debut - as previously mentioned Post Telegram Homogenic Plus... - Paj might need to sit down for this one - Bjork Easily the hardest to track down, seemingly overlooked as it was released in 1977 way before she became properly acclaimed but officially it's her first album, I look forward to listening to it at any rate.

It sure is the game is getting new textures, 5.1 sound, 60fps etc and online multiplayer which should be a laugh.

This is gonna be such an awesome nostalgia-fest when it comes out in a few months!
-
Ah ok so it's a mandatory two-stick game designed with the original pad in-mind, well that's ok I can live with it, was just curious if it controlled like Super Metroid as well.
-
Does it use the right control-stick at all? I want to use my Fightpad to play it with if possible when I download this.
-
*nods* I deem this to be true... So by my understanding, this title takes mahoosive amounts of inspiration from Super Metroid / Castlevania and then puts its own modern twist / spin on it?
-
*Is currently listening to for the first time* It's pretty damned nice.

Unemployment, travelling and smoking thread. Apparently.

Tbh a lot of people knock working at Mc Donalds / KFC but I don't think it'd be that bad, if you enjoy working with food anyway, having said that if I could choose which 'fast-food' joint to work at then I'd go for Subway mmm working there would be epic, think of all the free subs you would get!- 562 replies

Well that's promising I guess... depends which reviews though because some will be null and void by default, anyway not long now, a few weeks, they will soon pass and then everyone who wants to can listen to it and judge for themselves.
