  1. Super Hang-On for the Wii is great news especially as it's the arcade version but Hang-On a minute... 900 Wii points? When you consider that there's a three game collection just around the corner for XBLA entitled 'Alex Kid & Co' which includes Alex Kid, Revenge of Shinobi AND Super Hang-On all of which have been redone with new features all for what will certainly be no more than 1200 msp I can't help but feel that we're getting a little bit of a raw deal there.
  2. There's your answer then!
  3. My recommendation? Don't buy them as they are a waste of money, just so long as you're not using excessive pressure on your touch screen - and why would you be? - then you'll be just fine... the only thing it might help with is cleaning as inevitably you get a load of bit of dust and dirt on the screen from general use but this can be cleaned off relatively easily anyway. Indeed I've just cleaned both of my 3DS screens and yes I have noticed a small scratch on the touch screen it's really not a deal-breaker though, just something that happens through use eventually... it's not even noticable when the system is turned on so I'd say only bother with the protectors if you're really bothered about getting the odd scratch on the touch screen.
  4. I like the ability to store games inside folders but I don't like having the first letter representing the folder but being that this is how things are going to be I've just settled with sticking a symbol in front of the text so it doesn't look 'messy' currently I have... Black Star = VC White Star = eShop Music Note = apps I think that'll do for now.
  5. Playing it right now, Trials Evolution is a fantastic title which really pushes the boundaries for what an arcade title can offer, it's no wonder that it got released as the first 'Arcade Next' title along with a 400 Gamerscore... there's literally loads to do in the single player alone without even touching the multiplayer or the extremely comprehensive stage editor which not only allows you to create new tracks but also self-contained games. I'm currently stuck on the deviously designed Limbo-style level but I'm still loving it.
  6. Well I know I'll be buying Trials Evolution so that's the 800+ points sorted, probably easily manage the 1 hour in kinect video chat so all I'll need to do is watch a load of YouTube vids every day or just use iPlayer a lot more.
  7. That's really bad... ... I'll blatantly be buying them as DLC though... :p ... but it's still really bad.
  8. I thought all you have to do is spend 800 MS points on games, so surely if you buy Fez then you will automatically be eligible to receive the 300 points? Or do you have to partake in all three categories... if so then yes I see your point, hmm may have to try for the 300 I reckon.
  9. I've played about an hour of it and so far... it intruiges me. That's all I can really say about it for now, until I get to play it a bit more hopefully tonight - working most of the day - nut it certainly seems like something which will become more enjoyable the further you advance into the game and it has some damn weird but at least semi-original characters. Also it seems very Castlevania/Rygar-like... which is a good thing.
  10. After watching that in-game demo things seem better, on reflection at least they improved the initial character model to a degree but I'd have to agree that while reasonably fluid the action does seem a little bit slower than previous games but I think in the finished article it won't seem nearly as bad when you're playing, some nice advancement in there too alongside some genuinely decent presentation. I'm cautiously optimistic.
  11. ...until you watch the first episode, then it becomes effortless.
  12. Congrats @RedShell! I'm still at around 72% but I've taken a little bit of a break from it due to Rhythm Thief though I seemed to get back into Kid Icarus pretty majorly today as I took my 3DS out earning me some play coins which I naturally exchanged for eggs, netting me some idols. I picked up this months ONM adding to my collection of cards by six, then for the past couple of hours I've been playing the multiplayer mode, winning the majority of Light vs Dark battles in around 2 mins or less getting somewhere between 250 - 450 hearts per game not including any extra I get from converting any extra obtained but unwanted weapons granted it might not be anywhere near the amount of hearts I'd be getting if playing single player but still, not bad eh? : peace:
  13. 70% - I just got the issue an hour ago, mainly for the Kid Icarus cards - but I think they meant 80% tbf as they scored the original Strider - the Megadrive version which is a classic - 70% as well which is easily a 90% + game in my books. Fortunately I ordered the limited edition a good while ago before any reviews so I'm just looking forward to receiving the game, enjoying it and possibly reviewing it for the site if there aren't any other takers but we shall see. Either way, looking forward to playing it.
  14. Via a website, on my pitifully small netbook screen? I'd rather wait so I can just watch the entire season in full on my HDTV and enjoy it in surround sound... If my current PC was a desktop however then I probably would consider watching it in the manner that you've suggested but being that I don't my only other option is to wait for the boxset surely?
  15. So I finished watching the entire first season of this the other night, had it all watched within less than a week and I think my viewing pattern went something like this... 2 eps, 2 eps, 4 eps, 2 eps. It certainly makes for rather compulsive viewing :p which is a good thing of course as it's also compelling, well-written, almost perfectly paced and genuinely stunning to watch, there's always something going on, barely a dull moment and the season ending was brilliant, it was a moment that I knew was coming from only seeing the first eps but it more than lived up to my expectations. Without going into specifics and spoilers it's easily the best thing I've seen in a long time, easily worth the price of the boxset so naturally I'll be buying the next season... of course I know that I have a long wait - probably a year? - but it matters not for even if it was an even longer wait then it would surely still be worth it.
  16. Yes it is, and if you find yourself playing away from an internet connection you can play offline with bots using your own custom rules and still rake in hearts, weapons etc that way.
  17. Exactly what I was thinking... While the majority of the characters seem to be more obscure there's still Megaman/Ryu/Ken for the Capcom part who are well-known so I'd of thought Sonic might be in for Sega though they seem to have gone for certain types of characters; for instance each company seems to have characters from distinct genres but Megaman is generally classed as a platformer so that's kind of where the thory falls apart plus Sonic has been in an RPG before made by Bioware no less so it's even more of a mystery. Also if they were going for relatively obscure characters then I suppose they've done reasonably well with some of them but I'm a little sad to see that they don't have any classic Phantasy Star characters in the Sega roster. But that aside it is early days so more characters could be revealed and the premise sounds intruiging indeed.
  18. Happy Birthday Cube Have a great day but don't go eating as much as this guy... He never seems to stop! :p : peace:
  19. I did... bought it for around £20 on release off eBay, even that felt like a rip-off!
  20. Awesome trailer let down by a not-so-awesome looking Dante.
  21. Sorry to keep you waiting... @Mokong X\-C for the upload. : peace:
  22. Oh and also this... If there's one thing Sonic sure as hell does not need it's more characters!
  23. Exactly, in fact Sonic is so 'big' in Japan at the moment that Sega decided to remove all Sonic games from the Virtual Console in that region. I dislike the idea of Sonic going the 'Skylanders' route, they need to focus on the core gameplay - which they were starting to do again - not pointless gimmicks!
  24. His whole house is made of it, the Lego finds room for him. :p
