Selling gaming accessories and hardware
S.C.G replied to Aneres11's topic in General Gaming Discussion
+1 for @bob Overwatch arrived in the post and I've just now sent the cash, an excellent transaction. -
Pretty much agiven but it's good to hear this regardless.

Interesting... Don't you need a Wii which has very early firmware in order to run the FreeLoader which will let you run the game though? If so then I won't be able to play it on my main Wii console but... I did pick up a second hand one which might not have been connected to the internet as regularly. I'm assuming you need to modify the Wii anyway in order to apply the patch so this is probably a moot point. Unless you're talking about running it on Dolphin? Which I have zero experience with but really should investigate.

Selling gaming accessories and hardware

I don't know about £30 for both but I'd buy Overwatch on PS4 from you for £10 if that's a genuine offer. -
*Reads the above quotes about Sonic Forces* But... I already have bought Sonic Mania again, on every available platform. I'm still buying this, all in for the Switch version on day 1!

As a console, the Xbox One is only just starting to become appealing for me to play on as a gamer despite owning it for around three years now. This is largely thanks to Microsofts commitment to backwards compatability which has included Xbox 360 for a while now and support for those games is ever-growing. But the main improvement here is the inclusion of Xbox original titles, to the extent that I've started looking at my collection of Xbox games with a view to being able to play the games I used to once enjoy years ago but haven't played mostly due to not having an original Xbox setup - I have a 360 setup but... yeah... BC really isn't all that on the machine - so now perhaps I'll be able to play the likes of Panzer Dragoon Orta again except not broken this time as it was on the 360 or even play through Shenmue II before the third installment comes out. It doesn't end there though, they will be adding game periodically so this makes me less likely to get rid of certain titles I have but maybe haven't played, I already snapped up a copy of Crimson Skies for a good price and I already had a box/manual to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic so I snapped up a cheaper disc only copy to make that one complete. At this rate I'll likely have more Xbox Original titles than Xbox One in time, though obviously not more than retail Xbox 360 titles because... that would be quite a feat. Anyway, I'm looking forward to one day hopefully being able to just play all Xbox titles regardless of generation on the one console and I don't want to have to upgrade to a new version of the machine or the next iteration afterward which I shudder to think about the thought that they might just throw away the library and start again in the future which would be crazy; life for the Xbox One platform is now actually starting to get good, so this just needs to be built upon as that's where a lot of the market is I reckon. If anyone wants to chase after 4K visuals, then the Xbox One X is there as a... rather expensive but just about viable option, assuming they already have the 4K TV to go with it, in which case... then that's great. I'll make do with 1080p for a few more years I reckon and just see how things play out.

While I had my Switch on with Super Mario Odyssey running in the background for most of the afternoon, I maybe put around three hours or so in, this was inbetween sorting out games. In that time I did manage to get all of the obtainable Power Moons within the Sand Kingdom, most of them I found organically through normal play but when it came to the last few, I suspected that there might be a few that I couldn't get right away so I just looked at a list to confirm this and got the last couple I needed to be able to say "I have all that can be obtained in this particular world, so now I can move onto the next" so with that I've moved onto the Cascade Kingdom. I'm not going to say to much apart from the fact that I am really enjoying playing it, I look forward to playing some more and I'm currently thinking about playing some more even though it will definitely have to wait until this evening. Tonight I'll make a bit more progress before getting back to reviews tomorrow, I do have a couple of days off after today so technically I could just go all out and finish the entire game but I've noticed my pace for completing games has slowed down in recent years and I'm mostly OK with that, also defintiely huge props to anyone who has completely finished the game already as even though a lot of the collectables seem easy, not all of them are and there's quite a few if you're going for full completion, so that's a definite achievement just as the game itself is. Nintendo should definitely br proud of this one and anyone who owns a Switch absolutely needs this game, also anyone who doesn't own a Switch yet will probably be feeling the need to right about now.

Wait, Monopoly? I'll just get my serious face on... Better!

I haven't bought this (yet) but I thought @Ashley might like today's Qwertee design. It's available here for just under 24 hours if you're interested... https://www.qwertee.com/product/a-few-of-my-favourite-things-77

Wait, that's actually a thing? I just reached the Sand Kingdom last night and there was one that you could buy in the cap shop for 100 coins... I'm assuming I was meant to do that and that I haven't just conned myself out of finding it organically within the stage? I'm guessing that what you're referring to must come later on in the game and that it's made clear that you're buying Power Moons instead of being able to find them within the worlds. It's nice that the option is there for anyone who wants to use it but I'd rather nab them all the proper way if possible, so it's good to know these things.

I've just finished the introductory part of the game... ...loved every second. I can't wait to play more.

Restart? Call it a practice run.

Hello! I'm using GameCube controls!

To everyone who already got their copies... ... ...Enjoy! I'm not even mad, I mean I did get Super Mario Galaxy two days early back in the good old days of Play.com and I remember how awesome that felt. I've already been avoiding any other gaming sites in case of spoilers, I'll likely duck out of this thread for a while too but I'm looking forward to playing Super Mario Odyssey soon. In the meantime, back to reviews!

I was quite surprised to see Ninja Gaiden Black available for download on my Xbox One today, no disc required, it's just there. Apparently it was available for free if you had Xbox One Game Pass... which I've never had and never activated a trial for, yet I'm downloading Ninja Gaiden Black right now. Unless that's what you mean about digital licenses carrying over? I did play Ninja Gaiden Black on my Xbox 360 along with a few other games, so maybe that's why. Either way, this is a really excellent feature for the console.

@Ronnie that's a nice statue, it's First 4 Figures isn't it? Is it even bigger than my previously showcased Fierce Deity Link statue which sits proudly atop my well protected N64 games? If it was me then I'd be displaying that King of Red Lions statue alongside or close to GameCube games for certain. Enjoy it either way, as they are fantastic quality pieces, just be careful with it of course, especially if it has any potentially easily breakable pieces. Personally, I'm more than a little paranoid about accidentally damaging my Metal Sonic statue.

There might be. Thanks for the offer Rummy, do you happen to have a picture of the games or a list please? If you do then I could let you know from that if there's any titles I might be interested in to bolster my brothers collection (he's already got a few games in preparation) and we could maybe come to a deal if there are a few titles perhaps? Off the top of my head though, he'd probably be interested in the inFamous titles at least, or in any case I'm going to try and get him into them because I think it's a fantastic series.

No worries, I appreciate you getting back to me. £50 sounds about right for it, I'd be happy to pay that... is that including postage? Happy to chuck in a few quid for posting if necessary. Happy to buy the sealed PS3 games off you too, depending on how much you want for them. (plus I'll buy all the Uncharted titles off you to start off my brothers collection) Let me know how much you'd like with those games and I'll PayPal you some money.

What's perhaps most impressive is the fact that every game in that initial reveal video is now either out or almost out within a year on from that reveal and certainly within the first year of the actual release of the console.

Oh... OK then. *pretends to be gutted* Nah, it's actually cool because I'll be rockin' a comletely different Mii outfit which is more in keeping with the era.
