What game would you most like to see on the Revolution?
Retro_Link replied to Kakarot's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Zelda It's my favourite series and the extra power of the Rev and the new controller just add so many more possibilities! I know Nintendo said that TTP would be the last Zelda of its kind; hopefully they just meant that with the new controller, the next one would be a much more interactive game, and control differently; I hope they don't change it beyond this in some way! I think Nintendo realise they are on to a real winner with ZeldaTTP, Therefore if they can expand on this for Zelda Revolution and add all the interactive controller elements; sword fighting, fishing, some new weapons designed around the controller etc... it will surely make for yet another best ever Zelda game!! -
Yeah the Revs specs are yet to come, all the online details!!, and i think maybe some other controller attachments could be likely (i loved all the ones in the mock-up thread!). Nintendo are amazing me more than i could have imagined with the Rev!!

That's wierd; how did they go from that to making him the main character?!!
-
Yeah this is the episode i saw last (and as has been said, it was where series 3 ended). One thing i thought was great in series 3 was how they brought in the original superman, Christopher Reeve as a key character (but how he played a totally differet style of character); i thought this was very clever. I really like Smallville, it's a great show.

Wahoo, Thanks, gotta get some of that next time i go!

The worst adverts BY FAR on TV at the moment are; - M&S - This is not just........ it's.......... ARGH!!! SHUT UP - An advert for a University (which one i can't remember as i type), where they are all doing a rediculous little dance around the place in different uni scenarios, with rediculous fake smiles; all to the tune of... "I'm moving on..........I'm moving on, roll on roll on" OH MY GOD!!!!! WOULD YOU SHUT UP!!!!! The Uni advert was most likely created by someone on a degree there, it's that sort of cheap quality, tackiness!!

Yeah i'm not sure where that blue border came from, i never intended it to be there; anyways, i've corrected it now. thanks! Very stylish signature and great colour sceme, very well put together and from a great movie! 9/10 -
I'm so glad you mentioned Shenmue as i was only thinking of Nintendo games before i read your post; The Shenmue intro is FANTASTIC! - Majoras Mask - sprang to mind; the lonely walk through the forest, the chase, the music, the acrobatics! I love it! - Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast) - I was in AWE the first time i saw the intro title movie; i'd never seen graphics like it before and the music was great, - SSBM - for the great music and animation, - Ocarina of Time - Links nightmare and Navis flight, - Resident Evil 4 - this game kind of has a short opening chapter before the title appears after the first village attack; but what a beginning!! "Where'd everybody go? Bingo?"

Colourful, bright and well made (even better if you drew that luigi on the right yourself, which i'm guessing you did); 8.5/10 -
This is so true, and why i just read the mags in store nowadays!
-
Are you saying Vimto actually produce a Vimto jam that you know of? I got the impression it was a self made Vimto spread/jam and was wondering how he made it/what it was made from; Vimto i'm guessing, but what else? Who'd of thought it would create such interest!

Same here; great game!!

You've probably gone now, but have a good time!

I used to buy Nintendo magazines alot, 'Cube' pretty much ever month and 'NGC' and 'NOM' quite often too; Then i realised just how much money was actually being spent on these and now i don't buy them anymore; just read all the interesting stuff in the shop! You can get all the info and more found in game magazines alot quicker online! Also read the occasional 'Nuts' and 'Zoo', as well as Top Gear magazine, movie mags etc...
-
Ok, you have to tell us what this is!; I LOVE Vimto!!
-
Ok please tell me where Ross says that in Friends; i just can't remember!!! Anyways; yeah Chavs really are ruining it for us all!!

lol, who you trying to kid! You bought it for the

I don't know if it's where 'xino' found it but there is a video over on Gamespot that shows some ingame level footage and talks about rope hoping there, along with the individual brick/box weight etc. The video over there wouldn't work for me however, so i don;t know if that's where you see the rails are back etc. Sega have said also that by reinventing the series they want to make Sonic The Hedgehog the fastest game there is! (so faster than F-Zero GX!! Yeah right!!, but it should be FAST!)

LOL, Some great controller ideas there Twilight'! An online, totally interactive Animal Crossing could be one of most immersive games ever!
-
Yeah what is he on about? Nintendo alwaus IMO produce the most comfortable controller each generation; with the wavebird and standard GC controller being EASILY the best yet! Some fantastic responses there!! Great to see the whole of the Ubisofts team for one, all got excited by it and all began thinking of ideas!!

I'm pretty sure Nintendo has said that while their main aim next-gen is to deliver a revolution to gaming (which they have done); they intend to keep up with the competitions machines in terms of graphics etc... because of its importance to third party developers and some areas of the market.Could be wrong, but i'm sure i've heard Nintendo representatives state this in a number of interviews!

I agree, that strip doesnt bother me at all, and i do like the format andcolour sceme; Think i prefered the colours on the old board though; blue and grey.

I meant to watch this film all week (after all its rave reviews), only I forget for the most part it was on; but I remebered and managed to turn it on literally one minute before that scene!! Film seemed rubbish though!
