She scares me! No you missed my point. I meant Terminator 3 having a female Terminator. That film seemed to feel like because it was the third it somehow now needed to include a female equal (equality bull) against Arnie... and quite frankly it was rediculous and sucked! Catwoman could totally work, I just don't want them to feel they have to include her, or the Riddler just because they're big names... but like I said Nolan's better than that. And I just don't want Robin.

Yeah because he heavily impressed during Inception or something... *sign*... oh well, just make it work!
-
^ Agreed! and wait... James McAvoy ... Xavier

Nolan has already said it's too painful for him to do anything else Joker related, so I honestly have no idea why people keep going on about it! Really looking forward to hearing where they decide to go with the third film. Also I feel that the media are only talking about The Riddler all the time because that's the only villain left that they're particularly aware off... like a completely uninformed, un thought out opinion. To many he seems the obvious choice because he's a big Batman character, but that's not the way this as to go. I also personally feel, if chosen, The Riddler would be a bit shoehorned in, because I can't quite see where he'd fit as a character, in terms of where the story is at now. But hey if anyone can create a story and make it work it would be the Nolans! I don't really know a lot of Batman trivia, but having read up on villians during these films, I like the idea of Black Mask and think he would fit in best storywise. And also he's an unknown character to the mass audience, which worked well in the first film. Also, a number of lesser villians could work along side him with glancing 5 minute cameo battles, as Batman works against this mass mob underworld that's built up. Catwomen could work as an established character to go alongside... though I don't want anyone to include her on the premiss that it's now time to include a strong female role in the films, which you get the feeling some trilogys work in that way (Terminator 3 anyone)... but thankfully I think Nolans way above all that! And lastly... NO robin please! I'm fine with a glacing cameo/reference from the boy who will one day be Robin... but save that for the next directors trilogy!

:p IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME DAMMIT!

Yeah I mainly get it in my foot in bed sometimes. And then you think it's gone, try it... nope... Bet the other person thought they were on fire, when you started yelling... "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!!!"

Have you got them on DVD or did you watch them somewhere online. I have 2007 on DVD and keep wanting to get '03 & '05, but they're pretty expensive to buy!

^ YES, I saw that on MSN... on honestly thought one of the running marshalls was gonna get hit... can't believe, as you say, that no one got hurt! So on to Germany... Since they radically changed Hockenheim, I can't really say I ever much look forward to this GP anymore... such a shame! I'd much prefer it was at the 'Nurburgring' tbh... at least that often throws up some crazy rain or something! But yeah... although what he says actually confirms nothing (Merc could still get rid of him if his performances ever became embarressing), Schumacher was always going to be around next season. He's worth too much to Merc in terms of PR, and a new year and a new car will show what he's still capable of. Also I was just thinking to myself a few minutes ago... is anyone else getting really fed up with Red Bull? Not Seb & Webber so much, but just all the constant bollocks!

Surely better than the alternative?...

Now they just need to update that Thor website with a teaser trailer!

Personally can't see him in the role at all! Didn't realise they were doing a new Judge Dredd.

You'll love it!It's on the edge of Rockefeller Centre (48th street & Fifth)... which is handy because you ABSOLUTELY have to go to the top of the Rockefeller Tower (Top of the Rock... google it) whilst you're there. It's the same price (around $20) as going to the top of the Empire State, only with better views (Central Park), and the fact that you get the Empire State building in your photos. Do the Empire State aswell of course.

Thanks, so it is! Can't say I've heard of Captain Marvel before... They look pretty similar!

Just downloaded DKC... ready to join in with the DKC loving! and in preperation for DKC Returns. Plus I've now got a White Classic Controller Pro! I've never really played the games at all, I remember years back watching a friend play through a few levels on his SNES, so it's about time I gave it a go myself! Must say I was expecting the graphics to have held up a little better, seeing as they were some of the finest examples of 2D out there, but I guess that's probably a result of it being scaled up to a 28 inch widescreen! I've taken it off smart mode, so it isn't streched wide and it looks a tad better. Have plowed my way through what I guess is kind of World 1... beating the beaver... and on to World 2, where I must say the mine carts took quite a few goes... and following it up with 'Stop & Go' was a bit mean, because once you start a new world you can't go back to Candy's save hut right?... you've got to keep going to the one in that world. Think I'm down to my last couple of lives as a result! Anyways, enjoying it, And I'll give it some more play time soon!

N-Europe London Meet Sat July 24th 2010
Retro_Link replied to ReZourceman's topic in General Chit Chat
Don't have the monies to be able to make it to this, this year. Shall have to look ahead to a mini-meet of some kind, or perhaps a photography / urbex / silverstone (depending on the crowd) get together sometime. -
Yeah but with that program and a number of other online programs, you can only upload a maximum of 10 individual files to it. EDIT: hmm ok, so I might be able to get round it by combining, combined files...

OK so a trip to New York enabled me to take in the sights and sounds of the Nintendo World Store, and very nice it was too! Downstairs was basically DS, upstairs Wii, with plenty of demo pods in both, with Wii titles such as Wii Sports, SSBB, Punch Out Wii, Mario Baseball, NSMB Wii and Tatsunoko vs Capcom all being shown off and played. Place was off course also filled with collectables, t-shirts and the like, and displays of past consoles. Few pics...

OK N-E, I have 40+ Photoshop PDF files of work that I would like to combine into a single file to be able to send out to people online. Now in the past I've simply used Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, but I've since used up that 1 months free trial and would now need to buy it, which is rediculously priced and I'm not gonna do... help! What program do people use/should I be using... because surely the vast majority can't afford to buy Adobe for such a basic task. Also the pages as they stand add up to 30+mb, which is obviously too big to email over hotmails 10mb limit. What are the most effective ways of reducing file sizes... or reducing the size of the combined pdf. ithankyou.

Yeah that's what I put it down to, but even a setup like 'Midnight' would have done.
