  1. Yesterday, I went to watch UP with the Eeenoooo. I can safely say that we both enjoyed it, and have both hissed at Shorteh's comments on facebook about eet. I thought the introduction to the film was quite sweet. I went into the film knowing very little about it, and I think that served me quite well. I loved the way the film was created and how everything looked visually. We decided not to see the 3D version, but I would be quite interested in seeing what the differences are between these two versions.
  2. Wooooo, this ExciteBike news is pretty sweet. Still, I also want ExciteBots. Also, how random. The release date is only a few weeks from now. They kept that quiet.
  3. ViPeR, you toilet duck, they explain in Resurrection how they cloned her. They had blood samples that were kept on ice from the Prison Planet. How conveeeenient. Still, I agree, Resurrection sucks arse. In fact, it sucks the worse kind of arse. It sucks shitty arse from backside of an elephant. AvP is a pretty decent film. However, it isn't anywhere near the same league as the first three Alien films or both Predator films? Why? It's too damn short. It needed to be longer, and so little time was spent on character development and giving you an indepth or more complete film. This film is around about one whole hour plus shorter than Aliens...how did Fox let this happen? We could and should have had something better, but what we do get is still an enjoyable film. The second film however...complete garbage. From the trailers, it actually seems quite promising. More edgey, more violent and action-orientated. But, the end product is laughable. Maybe I need to watch it a few more times to enjoy it, but I almost cried when I saw it for the first time. One of the worst films I've seen at the cinema, if not the worst. I still do not understand why I hated it so much. Everything, every single aspect of that film is bad. Bad characters, bad dialogue, no suspense, no tension. No care for who lives or dies. It's the ultimate soul-less film. As for Alien Resurrection, there just isn't enough time in the world to talk about that. Thankfully, it is better than AvP2. But, it's still crap, in my opinion. In fact, to even be in the same series as its predecessors is an insult to those films. It just seems very ordinary. Again, no suspense, no care for who lives or dies, and the dialogue has to be heard to be believed.
  4. I picked up my plectrum recently, and found that I struggle with it or am slower than I should be with eet. I've spent so long playing my acoustic with fingers. So, my goal is to improve on that, massively. I haven't had a chance to sit and strum for a while, so I think I am in need of some quality time with eet. Need to name my guitar, too.
  5. Well played. To be honest, you're right, I think this was the right game for you. When it comes to games like this, it is almost like a cup final, and the players seem to psyche themselves up and play out of their skin. Lucas was one of those players yesterday who rose to it, and I seriously doubt he's actually put in a performance like that before. It's just a shame that United didn't psyche themselves up in the same way. It may actually be a blessing that we lost, and that our performance was not up to scratch. We did the same thing against Arsenal at the Emirates last year. After that, we looked like a much better team throughout the season. So, it was a wake up call, I think. I think it really is time now that Fergie figured out once and for all what our first choice midfield actually is. I think too much time has been spent waiting on Hargreaves to come back, and because of that, we've had to keep adapting and rotating each midfield per game. Our back four is sorted, and it looks like John O'shea has claimed that right back spot as his own. Up-front, the Berbatov and Rooney combination looks like that is the way to go. But, the midfield is anyone's guess.
  6. It was written in the script for him to get sent off. I was a bit miffed that Carragher stayed on the field, but alas I think the ref probably got that right. I'm still pissed off about that midfield. Scholes + Carrick = No Running. They just didn't look like they were on the same wavelength half the time. I know I keep going on about it, but Anderson + one of either Carrick or Scholes (or Fletcher, had he been fit) should be our starting midfield. I thought Valencia looked good for most of the game, and I just wish more of the team looked at what he was doing. At the moment, we are looking shockingly vunerable to pace. Rio getting caught out for the first goal, the pace and flight of the ball leading to the Vidic sending off, the speed of counter attack for Liverpool's second, the lack of pace from Scholes and Carrick in the middle. It all contributed to our demise today. The reason I think Fletcher is becoming so important is because he is one of our midfielders who looks like he has a bit of pace. Also, one more niggle: Does anybody know the last time that Wayne Rooney scored a free kick? He shouldn't be anywhere near the ball when it's placed for a free-kick. Hits the wall, everytime. We had numerous free-kicks in excellent positions, yet we wasted them all.
  7. Crap game. We just didn't look up for it at all. Our passing game just didn't turn up again in midfield. Surprise Surprise, I don't think the midfield combination of Scholes and Carrick worked. Vidic getting himself sent off for the third time in a row against Liverpool was the final insult. Either that, or the Ngog goal. It was obvious that one team wanted to win it more than the other today, (and probably needed to more than the other) and I think overall the right team won.
  8. I'm tempted to get it as a Christmas present for her, but act all serious and pretend it is the only thing she'll be getting. Also, when he said Scum, didn't he just mean that all the bastards get the hotties? And that, in order to receive love from de hotties, we ourselves need to be bastards? Or, Scum?
  9. Shorty, I checked that and showed the Ine. We are both shocked and appalled that such a creation was created. Yuck. Molly, you've been out of eet? Well, now is time to get back in eeet. Do eeeet! Do eeeeet naaaaaw!
  10. We'll have to wait and see. Football is still only a game of men versus men. On their day, anybody can beat anybody. Villa beat Chelsea t'other week, and Burnley beat us earlier in the season. I rate Scholes, Carrick, Anderon and Fletcher highly, and I think when these guys hit top gear they can cause trouble to anyone. I think Anderson is having a good season so far and I think the only way for him to keep improving is to keep starting him. He didn't have a great season last year because he missed too many games. If he can keep performing and do it consistently, I think he'll become an important figure for us throughout the season and in the bigger games. I would most definitely start him. Watch now as it'll backfire, haha. My predicted team is: Van Der Sar O'Shea - Rio - Vidic - Evra Valencia - Anderson - Scholes - Giggs Rooney - Berbatov The question-mark could be whether Valencia plays or if Nani does. They both played well during midweek. However, I would be more tempted to go with Valencia as I think we'll need his work-rate during a game such as this. However, whether or not he or Nani plays, both need to be raising their game for this. Edit: Teams have been revealed. Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Lucas, Mascherano, Benayoun, Kuyt, Aurelio, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Voronin, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Degen, Skrtel. Man Utd: Van der Sar, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Berbatov, Rooney. Subs: Foster, Neville, Owen, Anderson, Nani, Fabio Da Silva, Jonathan Evans. I would have much rather seen Carrick and Anderson or Scholes and Anderson. Scholes and Carrick does work, but it doesn't work as well for me as one of these other pairings. Still, we'll wait and see.
  11. So, looks like Fletcher is out for today's game, and Rooney is still a doubt. So, it's uncertain whether or not he'll play. Gah, now the nerves have shot in. I'm predicting Scholes and Anderson will start in midfield, which I would be quite happy with...but you never know if Scholes will get himself sent off. It would not surprise me one bit if he did. At the same time, it wouldn't surprise me if he was the best man on the pitch today or gave his best performance in years. He's an enigma. I'm going to predict a 2-0 United win. Berbatov and Vidic from a set piece. Please God make this happen.
  12. High Five, Sucker. It also does bug me, like you say, when reviewers give an average game a seven. Basically, I try to visualise a line, with 0/10 on one side, and 10 on the other. You could also put "absolute trash, never play, never should have been made, etc" on one side and "perfection! Absolute perfection. Playing this game is finding what it means to be human" on the other. 5/10 is half marks. Giving a game something like a 7 just gives me that it is the impression that it is a good game, and much more than solid. 6 is solid. 8 and 9s are your "great, must have games". I don't read many reviews at all, because as you say, it is only one person's opinion. I much rather waiting for impressions on this board or something. But, review scores are something that annoy me slightly. "Bah, this game is ordinary...Seven out of 10!" Hmmm. :p I remember being horrified quite a few years back whilst reading a review for a Flight Simulator game. The review, to cut it short said "This game is basically the same as previous years. Adds nothing new. Its quite average, been jazzed up a little, looks quite pretty compared to last year and the year before. 9/10." I face palmed.
  13. You're growing up to fast, Fez. Soon, you'll be married, with kids, and a Peugeot. Happy Birthday. You old, old man.
  14. eet eeeeet eeeeeeeeet! I knew you would come around to my way of thinking, one day. I don't recall seeing a picture of Molly. But, from her typing, she must be hot. Same with Dante. He types like a sexual maniac. Who is hot. Did I just compare him with Mollymon? Sheeeet. I joke. Your posting is on a whole different hotness level. Infact, it ain't even in the same league! He is Vauxhall Conference and you are Spanish La Liga.
  15. You look a bit like Cillian Murphy.
  16. Wes: Yeeeees, that was him. I had an incline that he was who you meant. So, wicked. J7Wicked in factttt. Molly: Aww, I remember those days. Females would often say hello and act all friendly and I would think "OH MY GOD, I've met my life-long partner to be. Play eet cool, sucker." But, alas, the coolness was not to be played. It is all about keeping your composure. Basically, try to forget that they're hot or hot person material and speak to them as if they're just regular not-hot-people. It's very difficult. Especially when they contain features that are associated with hotness, including de eyes, the hair, le smile, grandé breasts. The danger is also over-thinking stuff. Like in your head thinking "Brain, think of something funny to say." It's harder to do that rather than just letting the funniess roll off your tongue, like a monkeyball drifting down a ramp. Do that. Be the monkeyball. Be cooool.
  17. Now that I have a little money to spend, I want this. Is it still on offer at Sainsburys? Will it be so for, say, the next week or so? I want eeet.
  18. A pet hate of mine are teams who revert to "obscure" formations. 4-5-1, 4-3-2-1, 4-3-3..3-5-1. I just think sometimes that the typical 4-4-2 is simple but effective. Why complicate things? The weekend has come...I'm personally so excited yet nervous for Sunday. The thing is, I missed this fixture last season...because I was in Belgium! Same situation, again. I hope that's not a bad omen. I see that Rooney and Fletcher are both doubts for the game, but is it just part of Fergie's mind-games? I would expect Rooney to recover in time. Fletcher I think will be fine, too. But, not entirely sure if he'll make the first 11.
  19. I tried the video on my laptop at home, and got a headache. But, when I tried it with Ine, I think she altered one of the video modes or something, and I found that I still had a headache - but also a result! It actually worked for me. Headache inducing, but it worked. Would I want to watch films or tv like that? Cross-eyed? Hmm, nah. :p
  20. Sheeeeeeeet, I forgot about voting. I saw this a few days ago but I kept putting off my vote. I'm with Ine, so we listened to both songs together and...we found that we didn't particularly like either one. Saying that, I prefer Jade whilst Ine prefers Kylie. However, there are quite a few of Kylie's songs that I like. So, once again, it's a case of "quite like the artist, but not this song."
  21. There's a fair bit you can do: The nice and simple rowing machine. Great activity for Cardio and it works your arms and back, too. Then, using this cable cradle: I do "high cable rows." For this, you set the "arms" to the top or highest it will go on the cradle and you perform a rowing motion. Not the best video, but you want to think about this motion. I also perform this with two of those plastic grip handles, as I find you get better leverage that way. You can also do "low cable rows." So, same idea, but instead the arms are set towards the bottom of the cradle. I much prefer the high rows, but both are awesome. Then, we have the lateral pulldown: I'm not a huge fan of this, but it can be satisfying. So, give it a go. Rear Deltoid Flys This is the machine that can be found at many gyms. You usually see people performing Chest Flys on them, however you can also set them to perform "rear deltoid flys." So, for this, you will usually need to set the arms back as far as they will go (my machine at the gym has 1,2,3,4,5 and then another number 1, which is what you need to set it to for rear deltoid flys.) Then, facing the chest pad, you want to grip the handles and bring them around, in a motion as if you were stretching a long piece of string or cord. I personally like this exercise. And, we have "bent over Rows." For this, you want to position yourself on a gym bench, with one leg and arm positioned on the bench like so. Then, with a handweight and your other arm, you want to bring the dumbell from a "free" position and bring it towards you. Sorry if I haven't explained these well enough, as I had a bit of a mindblock when I thought about trying to simplify this stuff. That's why I've tried to use pictures and videos as they will explain things better than I can right now, as I'm knackered. But yeah, these are some of the exercises that I use. I find them effective, so give them a go.
  22. I had my last gym session for a week and a bit, as I'm visiting Ine. So, I made it a good one. Worked my back and did some arm work, which left me feeling "assaulted" or battered afterwards. :p Molly, for some reason, I don't like the cross trainer. Well done, you, though. That's good work.
  23. That's exactly what I mean when I say that Reina is the most consistent player in the Liverpool backline. The defenders just don't react to anything. Carragher is probably their worst offender at the moment. He has no pace. He's got the heart, but not the legs. To the United fans, what did you think of Fabio? I thought he was pretty damn great. Got caught out once or twice, but recovered well and his tackling overall is good. I really can't wait to see what becomes of the twins. When Rafael plays, it gives me a huge lift.
  24. There are quite a few things that I do, I think. I can't list them all, but I remember somebody did say that I was a "psychologist's dream." Another person also said that I was "mentally unstable" because of the way I acted. Both comments were not in jest either. I's a freak. When I'm sitting down to watch something, I sit right on the edge of my seat. To me, I like being as close to "the action" as possible. Even if people are in a room talking, I like sitting right on the edge. Thinking about it, when I play the drums, I think I do the same thing, so maybe it stemmed from that? I also pull weird faces when I type. I bite my lip, but the inside of my lip, and inside of my cheek. It's very hard for me not to do this... Another one is that I smile at everyone, but it's never "oh, this person is coming, I'm going to smile and make their day." I just...do it. So, somebody walks by, and I look up and smile. Sometimes with a "y'aaaaalright?" There have been occassions where I've walked down a street with a friend and I've said it or done it around 4 or 5 times by the time we come to the end of the road. Oh, one more. If I'm in a room with a lot of people, I look around at everything. So, if I'm watching tv with people, I'll be watching it, but then occassionally my head will look up and look around to make sure everyone is alright...that's a pretty bad habit of mine. I remember one time somebody caught me doing it and said "jiiiiim, staaap eeeeet naaaaw! I'm alright!" I don't know why I do that. I just do eet. I guess vision is quite important to me, and I like being able to see where everything and everyone is. I do that same when I play games, I like knowing exactly what I can see on screen. When I'm teaching, it's important to know where all the kids are, so this actually comes in handy. Hehe.
  25. You have to admit though, Chelsea were something else under Mourinho. Saying that, Athletico learned a hard lesson against them tonight. I thought they looked quite promising early on, but then they just seemed to fade. One thing, though: I cannot stand Deco. I hate him, I hate him, I hate him. Very, very pleased with the win tonight over CSKA. If the game had finished 0-0, I would have been quite happy by that, as it's a tough place to go. But, to come away with the win is awesome. Another goal for Valencia too, who I thought looked good. Nani seemed to turn up as well. Some mistakes here and there, but he played really well, I thought. Lots of United fans get on his back, but I want to see him do well. Really, I would love it if he just became his own man this season. Fresh: If Liverpool did offload Reina, who would they bring in as a replacement? I think he's a good keeper, and whilst he does make some mistakes, he seems to be quite consistent for the most part. He's certainly no Fabian Barthez. He was either brilliant or bonkers. You just didn't know which one would turn up. You can't have that in a goalkeeper. You need someone who is consistent over the course of a whole season. In Reina, Liverpool have that. Whilst I dislike The Pool, they were hard done by last week. The referee should have stopped play, as Ramar says. Saying that, in my heart, I believe that Sunderland would have gone on to claim the win anyway that day. They were something else, and they look pretty great this year. I know nobody can say for sure, but...it's a loss for Liverpool. So, I'm happy.
