There have been so many players that have come through the doors at Liverpool, something like 67 since Rafa has been there? That's a huge amount of players. Granted, there have been some good signings in there. Torres has been the biggest, or one of the biggest. However, there are some areas I just don't think have been fully addressed in the time he's been there. He's built part of a squad, but there's still pieces of the jigsaw missing. In my opinion, Alonso was integral to your midfield, and he just simply hasn't been replaced. There is part of an argument there that he just hasn't had a huge budget to work off, and that he may need to sell before he buys. In my opinion, I don't think he's shrewd enough in the transfer market at all. Look at some of the players that Steve Bruce bought in at Wigan and Sunderland. Cana cost around the 5 million mark (I think), and he's easily worth triple that now, probably more. Players like Figueroa and Rodallega have made big impacts at Wigan. Look at the signing of Bent for Sunderland. He's been scoring goals, and he clearly has goals in him. Look at the signings of Vidic and Evra for United. The bank didn't have to be broken, and it is clear to see the impact that these two have had whilst being at the club. 67 players is a lot of players to have coming in and out of the club, and I would argue that there is no possible way that you can effectively judge that amount of players over the time he's been in there. Look at the Robbie Keane fiasco. Why was he only given barely half a season whilst Voronin and Lucas are still being given chances at Liverpool? Today, I think a player like Robbie Keane would have been very useful for them, rather than having Voronin come off the bench to replace Yossi. (shocking substitution, imo. He's been one of their more influential players for quite some time. It's like us taking off Berbatov for...Nani, or something. Except I still have faith in Nani.) Had he not won the Champions League, I honestly believe he would have gone by now. It's almost insane to think that Chelsea parted Mourinho over much lesser circumstances. I don't think they've been quite the same since. Certainly not as "invincible" as they had seemed to be whilst under him.

I said to my brother that if Liverpool lose on Sunday, then that's 5 games in a row without a win. Really, I don't think his superiors have the guts to sack him, or the courage. For that reason, I think he'll stay. But, the situation is spiralling into a huge mess. If Liverpool were playing good football and putting in good performances, then maybe you could look at some of the positives. But, I don't think they're even doing that. Defensively, I think the only player who looks consistent is the keeper Reina. Quite a few United players didn't travel to Moscow for the game tomorrow. Rooney didn't travel, neither did Giggs, Evra, Fletcher or Park from what I know. These are all starters in big games, and they'll be fresh for Sunday if all are fit in time (Park may not be, he's the biggest doubt, but all the rest have picked up minor injuries...I would expect that they would be fit in time for Sunday). That's a huge worry for Liverpool. And, again, it just emphasises how "thin" Rafa's squad looks at the moment. I'm betting that even without all of these players, Man United will still get a result against CSKA. There's still enough quality there to go and get something. Could Rafa leave out as many vital players and still get a result? In my opinion, no. And that is why they will find it difficult to still compete for the Premier League, let alone on multiple fronts. Dud: Sorry to hear about the loss. I think the Newcastle defeat is a little bit of a let off for you. In my opinion, I think you'll still come back up next year. If not, the year after. The bigger problem with West Brom is retaining that Premier League status once you have it. I think that is something that has plagued the club for quite a long time, in my opinion anyway. It can be done, though. Also, I followed the Rangers score on the BBC Live Updates. It was shocking to say the least. They were the home team and started out with a 4-5-1 formation? Sure, they got an early goal, but to go on and then concede 4 goals with what is seen as a hugely defensive formation...that's disturbing, in my opinion. I've got a close friend who is a Rangers fan and I could just imagine her tearing her hair out whilst watching it.

Good analysis there, DuDe. Also, I wonder where all the Liverpool fans are. Haven't seen them in a while. I'm going to be in Belgium from Thursday onwards. Which means...it's going to be a bit troublesome trying to watch the game. Grrrfuckfuck.

I am pleased to report that my Terminator 2 DVD arrived yesterday. I was shocked that it got here so quickly. I'm expecting the first film to get here tomorrow. It didn't come today, which kinda sucks as the other got here to quickly. But, T2 was secondhand/playtrade, whilst The Terminator is brand new. Also, it came in that Special Edition Tin. Yum Yum.

That's brilliant. Me and my friend used Drogba as a verb/term. To be Drogba'd meant to be disgraced. "I Drogba'd the toilet this morning...don't go in there!"

If you're using it strictly for the purposes of exercising, then I'd say get a mat. Because, I'd imagine a sweaty mat is easier to clean than sweaty carpet? It's quite funny sometimes when I've done some running or cardio stuff, then lay down on a mat to do some crunches and I get up again...then notice a wet pattern exactly where I was lying down. Nice. Thank God you can clean and wipe this stuff.

I feel a bit tired from work today and also my shoulders feel tired from the workout yesterday. One of these days where I want to sit down and just take it a bit easy, so I am! As for cardio work, I love using the rowing machine, the treadmill and (more recently) the exercise bike. I'm not a huge fan of the cross trainer. Some people there seem to love it though and go on for long periods of time, but I don't. There's also this funny contraption there which includes a chair (where you sit...duuhhh) and a thing infront of you, with a handle at either side. It's like a hand-cycle, maybe it's meant to simulate swimming. Used that once or twice, but it felt a bit crap so I stopped. If my gym had a pool, I would swim. But alas, they don't, so I don't.

It's good that you're meeting up for a chat about the work! That's the sorta thing I meant yesterdaaaaay when I said you should message Sanne. If it's any consolation, it sucks when you want to go to watch a game and nobody else does. My combination of housemates in the third year sucked for this. Fourth year was a million times better, though. Today was an ok day. Went to work at a school in Cardiff for the afternoon. T'was a lovely little school, and the kids and staff there were awesome. So, hopefully I'll be getting work there again soon. I also got a call from my agency to let me know that I won't be working in the school I was supposed to be in tomorrow. They were taking on a few supply teachers tomorrow because a staff course day was planned. But, they've cancelled that, meaning I'm not needed tomorrow. Soooo, I may be getting up early and might be working early tomorrow if I got called upon. Also, my shoulders ache from the gym yesterday. Yaaay and naaaay.

The great one that I see many people doing at the gym are "hanging leg raises." You can also perform is by lying down on your back and raising your legs in the same motion. It's pretty awesome, I think. http://www.workoutbox.com/exercises/ab-exercises/lower-ab-exercises/ There's quite a few nice ones there. As for today, I did some shoulders and also some ab work. I wanted to die afterwards! My shoulders felt so...awesome. Still, I am weak and puny. One day, world. One day.

I must also express my shock at this revelation. You never mention her Dyson. Go, Ell. Well done. Now, do the things that partners do. Make cake! Also, Eevil: *manhugs* I'm still shocked by Dyson. What a hoover.

Happy Birthday. When I was younger, I used to wish that people were made out of jaffa cakes. Then, I wish a law was passed so that it would be ok to eat people, as long as they were made out of jaffa cakes. I'm still waiting for this to happen.

Shit off. We have an equal relationship. Wohoo.

I wish there was some kind of item you could use to control people, like the dominion rod in Zelda. Hahaha. I would have some fun with that. Then, if it fell into Ine's hands, she would control me, and thus she would be having the fun! Ooooh, we better hide this rod so that nobody is in control of someone else. I think both the male and female body is sexy. There are so many things that I love about the female body. The curviness of it, the bits like the lower back, the calves...eveeeerything. Mmm. For the male body, their are quite a few things that I think looks nice. Like a big strong back, that's pretty awesome. I want one.

And in return, they get to hang with a man who is half Ringo Starr, half myspace pose. Hot people rock though. The best kind of person is a person with a sexy personality, and is hot enough to turn ice into a liquid.

I'm sorry that yesterday in the club sucked giant virgin arseholes, my darling. Going to clubs in the hope of chatting and stuff is pretty much a doomed idea from the start. Bars or a nice pub are sooo brilliant for just talking and hanging out. In all honesty, if I had the choice of going out to a club or a pub/bar, it would be the bar everytime. Granted, some places have the music too loud, but once you find one that is nice with good places to sit and nice music (at a decent level so that you DON'T END UP SHOUTTTING BECAUSE TALKING LOUDLY IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAR THE OTHER PERSON OK) it's good. Also, a random person slapping your arse?! That reminds me of the time where I went to a gay bar and the same guy stroked my chest...three times. He walked past, stroked it. Then, walked back, and did it again. Theeeen, he did it a third time. My friends chuckled. Saturday nights are very tricky for going out, too. Usually can be very busy. And expensive. I much prefer going out during the week.

Haha, what are the chances of that?! Although, I swear that I saw Match of the Day started at 10:20. I turned my Wii off midway through a level, turn the freeview on, and...it says Match of the Day doesn't start til 10:40. So, I missed out on 20 more minutes of game time.
-
I just played some more of this before Match of the Day. This is such a beautiful game. The controls are tight, the game looks beautiful and...it just screams Masterpiece. Really interested in seeing what they plan to do with the sequel.
-
Whatever way you look at it, the game looks like arse. There really is just no excuse for games looking like this. Far too many games on the Wii are graphically below par, and as a Wii owner, it does seem very insulting. We do not deserve "bad looking" games. As others have stated, there is very little difference graphically between this game and a game on the Nintendo64. That's just not on.
-
To the gym topic, you go! I went yesterday, and had an awesome session. Although, I'm finding that I'm still not feeling brilliant after my recent sickness. I want to burn my stomach fat, but am really not in the mood for doing endless bouts of running or cycling.

When I read that Tottenham dig, I went "oooooooo." Chants like that are very tasteless. I was looking at one of those youtube videos earlier about the Beachball goal (different to the one I posted) where one poster in the comments section just typed "Munich Munich Munich!" Bastards. People can be arseholes.

Tonight, I will be sat infront of the fire, with some chocolates and a nice hot cuppa. And, I will be playing some Super Mario Galaxy. Or, should I be restarting Zelda? Is Tonight the night? I think I'm gonna save that for a while longer. I fancy a bit of Mario tonight.

I saw one of these Ant and Dec ads on telly yesterday. I like these two guys, and they do make me smile. Not a bad duo to have advertising your products.

Today has been ok. I woke up and felt a bit shiiiiit, so slept in a bit longer. Then, watched the Villa-Chelsea game, then Gilette Soccer Saturday. Done very little today, but it's ok. It's my definite day of rest, heh. Ine is off out, which is coooool. I'm kinda in the mood for going out somewhere tonight as well, too. Hehe. But, I'm sat next to the electric fire which is keeping me warm. I am going to put some Super Mario Galaxy on and have a little blast of that before Match of the Day tonight.
