Yeah, carp, like the fish. Also used as an anagram of crap. Total rubbish, though. The midfield just didn't exist today. I said this to my Arsenal friend. As soon as the pressure is off Arsenal, they start to play. Although, maybe we can chalk this up as another bad away performance, of which there has been many. Glad next week is at home. Cmaaaaaan, Uniteeeed. Also, I said it before and I'll say it again: We need to start with Berba and then bring on Little Pea as a sub. The stats indicate that we are much better with things this way around. Berba isn't a super sub. Hernandez is. Well done, Arsenal. I take it you'll put in a performance like this against Stoke away next week?

Scoop is so much better, though. Guy is good, but...the fucker was burned at the stake. Scoop = ice cream. An ice cream scoop. Stick with scoop.

Pancake, what is going on with your right (our left) side of your hair? It doesn't look as uppy as the other. Yes. Uppy. Well done for looking nice, though. Humanity has done us proud.

We were fucking carp today. Watched the game with an Arsenal friend. Huhuhu. The upside is that I got a bit tipsy to drown my sorrows.

I haven't properly had access to a kit for about 4 years or something. When I went to Uni, my kit stayed at home. Plus, my family packed it all away, so I couldn't use it when I was at home (to save space.) Luckily, the school that I work at has a kit, so I'm trying to get back into it now. I was really into it before. I've got a bass guitar as well, but haven't really touched that for a while. Since being away, my acoustic has been getting a lot of love and I'm trying to improve on that. I'm making more of an effort now, I think. My index finger is torn to bits after playing some songs which use Barre chords today and yesterday.

Trying to get back into drumming, so have bought the following items: These are the sticks I'm going to use at home to practice, although I might take them into the school, as well. Hope nobody else uses them though as they were a bit pricier. So I can practice at home and brush up on a few things, like double stroke rolls and stuff. These are the sticks I'm going to mostly use in school. A spare set. The lot only came to about 20 quid, so can't complain.

I felt I had to join. British pride and all that. If there was a group for yours, I would be right on it.

My housemate plays a lot of Chinese and Japanese music. I think it's probably just the type she goes for (very pop-like and cheesy as hell) but it grates on me for some reason. It is very cheesy whatever she listens to...Jay Chou being one of them. Don't like that style. I've been listening to Carla Bruni's stuff recently and it's very nice. Beautiful stuff. It's mandatory to also enjoy music by Sigurrós or Jonsi. There's one or two Belgium bands that I like, but the words are in English. I don't particularly mind what the language is, it's only a small part of the overall sound. I think the music that accompanies it is just as important.

Would I be right in thinking this works in the same way like a supply teaching agency does? So, the work comes in, they phone you up/email you, you take up the work, ta-daa, moniesinthebank. Do you actually have to have the agency/agent close by/locally, or can you have one on the opposite side of the country and communicate over the phone or email?

Wait up, Maaase. Where is Little Kings Story on your list? Also, do not LOL at Other M. GET YOUR ASS TO MAASE.

So, you are mafia, yes? If so, fucking phew! I was sweating about this all last night thinking I made a bad call. -
So, Nintendo have pretty much confirmed the Wii is dead.

This talk of Other M makes me happy. I'm glad to see I'm not alone in my love for the game. Really enjoyed it. Moar please. -

What Diageo said still stands, though. It might not "out" an investigator, but it still leaves the whole thing open to re/mis-direction. If my plan (my idea in that post) was guaranteed to work, I would definitely suggest we all go for that. Double post: Anyway, that post from Diageo was after I voted. So, you really should be speaking to the 8 or so people who voted for you before I did. -

How was I ignoring you? You should actually read my last post, I was trying to help you out there with that idea. Plus, I'm not the only person to have voted for you. There were around 8 others before I voted or even gave my 2cents. I have listened to what you have had to say, and I've listened to what others have had to say, as well. Again, in my last post, I'm asking others to think about this carefully, as we are close to the majority needed. If I wasn't interested in what you had to say, why would I bother posting that? -
Yeah, most of them are moaning about it being "everywhere" and being unable to escape from it. It's not too hard at all to just...I dunno...change the tv channel or do something else.

There's still a fair bit of time until it does hit the shelves, though. Isn't it rumoured to be late next year, probably Christmas time? So, there's still potential for Nintendo to show more Wii games before then. -
You spoke my mind. It was actually lovely to see people this week feeling excited or looking forward to today. I watched the Wedding on telly, and I enjoyed it. You don't have to be a huge Royalist to enjoy it. It just makes a nice change to see the country feeling positive about something.

I'm from Wales. Currently living in England. I don't really feel Welsh, though. My family aren't from there, so I think that has something to do with it. There used to be a fair few Portuguese people here, they've all been lynched, as they were part of the mafia.

Nobody really knows what is coming after Skyward Sword, though. So, it's a bit unfair for us all to say "that's it!" when it might not be. There's no reason to say that Nintendo don't have some Wii games lined up for us at E3. -
The Gentlemen's Mafia II - Hunter's Chance
Fierce_LiNk replied to Jonnas's topic in General Chit Chat
Right, I'm doubting myself again. Let's just think about this carefully, as we only need two votes now. Aqui1a, what exactly happens when you "protect against nefarious roleblockers." It renders them unable to block, right? If we don't lynch Mundi, I have an idea. Dazz checks out Mundi, to verify Mundi's alignment. Somebody verifies that Dazz is on our side, so we'd have to check that out. It leaves open the possibility of misdirection. How can we sort that out? Going back to Diageo's post earlier, it is actually "easier" to lynch Mundi than check him out, because of the re-directors. -
Hmm, it depends on his knees, to be honest. If he's done a bit of running or is quite active already through sports, then give it a go, yeah. However, I find I burn a lot more energy when interval training, and also I feel more "into it" and less bored. Its a bit less repetitive. I change it all the time, but that was a starting point. So, you start off with that and over time you adjust it to fit your needs. What I like about it is that it is reasonably balanced, so every area is getting a workout. (You'd need to slot an ab session in there somewhere, missed that one.) When I'm feeling myself getting tired or burned out, I'll change things. So, recently I've found myself struggling with increasing the weight, so I've been doing less exercise but just focusing on the mass builders and increasing the weight for that. Sometimes I will have weeks where I can't make it to the gym because of work and stuff, so then I start with the exercise I think has been neglected most and go with that one, and then kinda start the week over from that point. I do try and stick to that plan though, so that in a week I am working out all areas. The area that does get neglected are legs probably, but I'm trying to change that.

For the fitness, you could try some interval training. So, walking at one speed, then switching to a run, or jogging and then running, or even running at a slower speed and then increasing it, then decreasing. It depends how you want to do it. I find it a pretty good way to help with stamina, as well as preparing you for sports where you use short bursts of speed, such as football and squash, where you might not be running the entire time. I definitely have seen an improvement with my fitness levels thanks to this. A typical weekly exercise plan would look something like this (I did a similar one for Ine): Monday: Shoulders + Triceps Wednesday: Back and Biceps. Friday: Chest and Triceps. That's for upper body. With regards to legs, you could do those on the weekend, so perhaps Saturday, and then have Sunday as another rest, possibly. About the exercises, if you're wanting to gain muscle, you need a "mass" builder type of exercise. For shoulders, that would be your typical shoulder press exercise. Back would be deadlifts. Or, even things like barbell rows. Pull-ups are also very recommended for helping to shape your back. For the chest, you would be looking at the chest or bench press. Then, legs, you'll be looking at your squats. Those are the exercises which are going to help build muscle. Then, you've got other exercises which will "isolate" that muscle and will help shape it. For example, pectoral flies. For shoulders, you've got front raises and side raises. These are all good for helping to isolate those muscles and shape them. It might be an idea to start off with some of these on a light weight, to get you used to the motions and techniques. Some of these exercises are tricky to pull off correctly as they are quite technical, like deadlifts and squats. Haha, I agree with the bolded bit. I remember seeing a thread on a different forum where a guy asked "How do I get bigger, but not too big? I don't want to be a muscle-man." Made me crack up. The diet is very important, though, like you say. It's the area most people will struggle with, tbh. Probably including me.

Why is it stupid? It doesn't matter, because the message or the point of that post was clear to see, regardless of such a small detail. I said this in my last post. Why is that such a hard concept to understand? Anyway, I'm not going to bother to talk about this in any further detail, because this is getting quite irritating. I don't like pointless or pedantic "discussions." All Hail Serebii.

Happy Birthday, Aimless. Have a very good one.
