It's great that people are loving the game now. However, there were so many at the time pointing out the linearity of it, along with the repetitiveness and the short life-span. I loved it. Thought it looked beautiful at the time, and it really felt like a huge step up from the N64. The music in the game was awesome. I had the theme tune as my ringtone back in the day.

Eurovision is amazing. I think I watched it with Ine last year, or the year before? Hilarious. We had a great time. I'm glad the songs aren't great, and that it isn't a serious competition. Its a farce. But, I love it because of that. The more ridiculous the performance, the dodgy singing and the sarcastic comments from the presenters, the better the show.

This game has suddenly exploded into life. Who is your daddy? (Jonnas?) And what does he do? (Run brilliant mafia games) Marca, I just checked back through the thread during Mundi's lynching. You made one post, saying that you liked the idea of having somebody who could find out names. One thing bothers me however, if Mundi was really useful to you, why didn't you make more of an effort to keep him alive? It would have been a good chance for you to come forward with your role possibly. I don't think you're in that much danger, and you could have been protected (by one of 50 protectors. ) I mean, your whole game revolved around tracking that person down. So, Mundi was pretty essential to that. I want to know your alignment.

Question: I know there's more players than usual in this game, but how many protectors are there roughly per game? We've got quite a few?

That is one thing that worries me about Smeagol. As far as we know, we still don't know his alignment? That is unlucky, Dazz. Still, what can you do? Do you have any other powers? I've also noticed that Diageo has been trying to focus the attention onto Marca, especially on the other page when the pressure was on him. Marca, you need to speak up, as we don't know enough about you.

I think we need to wait for more info. From what it sounds like, the mafia did try to kill me, but couldn't because of Dyson? I think... Dunno about the Nintendohnut and Dannyboy thing. Need to hear from them or others.

What da fuuuuck?! Were they definitely trying to attack me? 4 of them? How come they didn't reach me? If I'm honest, I was expecting myself to be night-killed, so I'm happy to still be in the game.

Today, we had the football tournament. I popped to the sports shop beforehand to get myself some football socks and shin-pads. We played 3 games, only 15 mins length for each one. One team comprised of 13 year olds, the next made up of 15/16 year olds and finally the parent's team. We lost all of the games, although they were close games, except for maybe the one against the parents. We only scored 3 goals, but I set up two of them: one was a diagonal cross from the right hand side that our player controlled and then finished into the corner. Looked quality. The other was a defensive tackle by myself to break up an attack from the parents teach (it was actually a shot on goal, which I blocked, before they came at us again, with me getting stuck in). I got the ball, and released a through ball down the pitch to our striker who finished it. I ended up playing in defence for most of it, mainly because we were getting so caught at the back. I'll only play in attack if I know the people behind me are decent. If not, you need to play in defence, because somebody needs to. We were winning the last game 1-0 in the first half, against the 16 year olds. In the second half, I went off in order for our rolling sub to come on, and we ended up conceding two quick goals, pretty much because nobody was defending. Thought FFS. We were badly lacking a keeper. We've been struggling all week to find someone to go in goal, so we had to keep alternating. In the last game, I won a lot of headers in the box or coming into our half. Definitely feel comfortable in that centreback position, or on wing. Want to join a team now!

There's a football tournament at school tomorrow. I'm part of the staff team (it's 6 a-side, with one sub) and we're playing against some of the junior school teams, the senior team and a team made up of parents. Looking forward to it, although there's only about 3 of us out of that staff team who will probably do ok tomorrow. Definitely think some of the older kids will try and take us out of the game with some rough tackles too, heh.

I've just realised that I'm not even going to be in this country when the final comes around. I'm travelling to Belgium on that day. So nervous about it, but so excited at the same time. So proud that the team have made it to the final again. We may not have the best individual players in the world, but the team and squad have lots of heart, a strong work ethic and they fight for each other. You don't need the best players to win a football match, and that's really what it boils down to. Both teams can easily turn it on when push comes to shove. Barcelona are expected to win it, probably, which will suit United I reckon. It's been a funny season, because we haven't been "brilliant", we've been suspect away from home in the league, and we've not really had a consistent midfield. Yet, top of the league and into the champions league final, and going out of the Fa cup semis...what on Earth would happen if we actually had managed to solve those problems? It's unthinkable really.

The whole idea of putting dead bodies on show is such a grim thought, anyway. That last picture is just awful. Just everything about it. Horrible. It's just horrid to think that a short while before that picture was taken, that was a human who was alive. Something about that is quite unsettling.

I agree, Plattymon. Can't really understand just how this team destroyed Inter. Rafa did a great job in fucking with their morale before he left, I reckon. O'Shea leading the team out and Anderson scoring twice. Who would have thought it, eh? I thought Gibson and Anderson both put in a good shift tonight. They get a lot of stick, but I like Anderson in particular. The rest of his game is all there, but he needs to score more goals. He's got 3 in Europe this season, which is a great start. Needs to be playing every week though and getting on the score sheet more often. As for the final: Anything can happen. It's a one-off game. Over 90 minutes (or however many there will be), there's no guarantees what to expect. I believe United can do it.

I'm hoping that we have another hidden protector that hasn't revealed themselves yet. If there is, a little protection my way would be a massive help. Do we at least know what you've been doing throughout this game? I can't recall seeing you appear in the write-up or seeing anybody mention you, except Dazz's post "confirming" you're good.

Ok, cool. She targeted Dazz, in order to protect him. We weren't sure if anybody else would think to, or if they would think that somebody else would protect him, so wouldn't bother doing it. So, we agreed on that. I'm not entirely convinced about Dazz, though. I don't think he's been checked out.

Am I actually allowed to say? Being that it's another person's piece of information. Is it against the rules, I mean? I know who she targeted. So I can answer the question. She didn't target Dannyboy or Nintendohnut. No reason to. She was a protector.

A little awkward? Dude, we were pretty much together the whole time. It would have been very difficult for us to work seperately. This is basically me answering ReZ's question by saying that we weren't strictly partners, but we were in some capacity. Cube: You are wrong. I've seen Ine's role, because our roles were revealed to each other by the game-master. (as in, in each PM it details my information as well as hers).

Um, I am very, very reluctant to give away any information on this part. However, I will say that when this game was in its sign-up stage, I joined at the same time as Ine, who was visiting me in the UK. A bit hard for the game-master to make one of us mafia when we're in the same place for the start of the game, no? Make of that what you will. Ok, I thought that was obvious. In fact, want to say that part a bit louder, Dannyboy? I don't think whoever killed Ine for that key heard you.
