How romantic. I'm not sure you can really define exactly what it is. For me, it's the best kind of friendship, where you feel totally comfortable in somebody's company. I think real love should be "easy", where I guess it feels effortless. Like you don't have to try your hardest to make a conversation, or to think of something funny to say. It just happens by itself naturally. I guess it stems from happiness, where you might not be doing the most exciting thing with somebody else (at that particular moment), but you still feel happy that you're doing it with them. It's a bit like magic, where something that seems ordinary is actually something else entirely.

Hmm, a new boss fight would have been great, but it probably would feel "tacked-on." The game seemed very complete as it was. You don't really have to go through it three times, the "prize" is just there for those who do manage to do it. Also, it's worth playing it through 3 times anyway to see the different Ancients. It has a wow factor to it, particularly in the cut-scenes, especially those very late on in the game.

Hmm, the problem I have is that my defence are young and I'm trying to get them as many games as possible, to improve their DV. Also, I did find myself playing 3 at the back at times last season and the season before that. So, having 6 defenders meant that there were 3 which weren't getting game time. I found it quite a struggle to settle on a defence with 6. I don't really want to bring anybody in, purely because it would ruin my plan for developing these guys.

I've sold Oscar Loeben, my Captain. 33 years old, 7 skill. The guy was suffering massively for 2 seasons with injuries and I've been struggling to get him to 10DV. Thought it would be better to let him move on, considering two of my defenders moved to 7 and 8 skill. Time to focus on getting them up rather than worrying about Oscar lagging behind. A bit worried about 5 defenders being enough for this season. 6 seems a bit too much at times.

Weirdly, I've accepted Bale as Batman now, for some reason. Watched Batman Begins/The Dark Knight recently and the voice/Bale didn't seem to bother me as much as it did before.

I'm 25, and yes, I've noticed. In fact, I went to my best friend from Uni's wedding last week! I don't see the appeal. 25 just seems way too young to me to get married and settle down. Thankfully, Ine is the same, otherwise that would cause problems. I know friends from school who have 2 or 3 kids by now, which just seems insane to me. Fuck Biology. I'm not even going to think about having kids until I'm 40. Maybe it's just our profession. I go to work, spend the whole day with kids there. I love being able to come home and do something else, whether that's gaming, music stuff, working out, or something. I love my job, but right now, I would go insane if I was around kids 24/7...

Can't believe I've only just seen this thread right now. This is one of my favourite all-time games, so much so that I played it through about 5 times. Loved it. Yes, the combat isn't as "smooth" as the likes of Resident Evil 4, but the emphasis isn't really on that. In fact, it's not very combat heavy at all. The storyline/script-writing is the highlight of the game for me, as well as the psychological horror aspect. If you stick with it, you should find it really rewarding, but I can see how you might have missed the boat with this one. It really was incredible when released.

He could. Or, he could walk for free next summer. Can't really see him staying. I still think Juventus is his most likely destination. It must be "painful" seeing players leave Arsenal and win things elsewhere, so I think that will motivate him to leave. Chelsea have strengthened and will continue to do so, United are looking to bring in more players, as are City, so these are all good teams getting stronger. As good as Arsenal are, I think the time where Van Persie could have won the league with them has passed.

Oh, I know what the point is. But, there isn't any mention of it being a replica. The son should have some responsibility for it, no doubt about it. It's a very stupid "tradition" to have anyway, arguing with the wife and then pulling a gun on her, real or not, loaded or unloaded. Anyway, yes, it is interesting. City will not sign Van Persie, according to Mancini. So, it looks like the two clubs in the running are Man United and Juventus. I'm still not sure where I stand with this. No denying his talent, but I'm not convinced we need another striker. Welbeck was excellent last season, Hernandez needs more games, and of course, Rooney is our main man. If Rooney did become injured or go off form, we would need somebody there. I'm not sure how we'd set the team up, or who would have to miss out to accommodate Van Persie. We really need another central midfielder or two anyway.

To be honest, I've always found the AI to be shit in football. As great as it is, every player wants to play in a different way. The AI doesn't always do (sometimes it never does) what you want it to do. It can be a case of you working around the game, rather than manipulating it for your own benefit. I found this out with the last Fifa I played on the 360. Just so poor to control after the Wii Pro Evo games. @madeinbeats, I admit, I'm just torn now. I'm never going to get a "normal" version of a footie game. So, it's really going to be either sticking with what I've got on the Wii, getting this for the WiiU or seeing what else turns up in the future.

Oh, I know that. I'll never forgive Conor for what he did. As much as people will bitch and moan about Nintendo abandoning them, they'll never know how Conor left us in the lurch and how we're still really feeling the effects of this. From what I remember, we didn't get as much as a sorry, or a response as to why he was doing this. You've done great since then and it's evident that the site has improved a great deal with the likes of you and Tellyn sorting the news, the review guys pumping out the reviews and impressions, and even with the new format for the site. It's all fantastic and is what was sorely missing when Conor was here. I'm confident that the site will continue to improve, but there's just such a long way to go. Especially after we lost crucial time. Also, lol, I can't even remember which site it was that I joined briefly, but it didn't even last a week.
