I won't be posting pictures online unfortunately. It's too easy for it to be copied and I'd rather keep it to myself.

When you first see it, it does look like Torres was leaning in/leading with his elbow, so it looked quite bad first time around. Coupled with Vertonghen's reaction, I thought it was a definite red first time around. Once you see the replay, there's nothing really there. I like Vertonghen a lot, but he comes across as a bit of a bastard on this occasion. I'm sure that if the referee had the ability to see it more than once, Torres would have remained on the field. However, by the same token, he probably should have received a red card earlier on for the scratching incident.

Shadow of the Eternals ('Eternal Darkness 2' - Kickstarter)
Fierce_LiNk replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Oh no, I've given Dyack all of my money, I wanted Eternal Darkness Part Deux that bad. What do? In all seriousness, fuck Dyack for making me believe that we were getting a sequel to the best game evaaar. -
I've had my hair cut today. Feels sexy. I got many compliments on my Will Smith/Fresh Prince t-shirt yesterday when at work (we were planting bulbs in the garden, what a way to spend your Saturday, blurrrh) and I got more today when wearing t-shirt to hair-cut and around the shops. (dat feel when you wear t-shirt 2 days in a row and it still feels clean) Also, played squash for the first time in weeks. Am tired. Have also eaten my bodyweight in scones, clotted cream and jam.

Why did Chelsea let Sturridge go? Why is Lukaku out on loan? Seems daft to me. Both are in excellent form and are quality players. Sturridge's form (and Rooney's) bodes well for England and Lukaku is just going to be an absolute monster for Belgium/Chelsea when he hits his peak.

Happy Birthday, bitches.

What's your lifting routine like? What about your diet? Both of those matter a lot. I've had a very busy time at school but am finding that there is just about enough time to exercise and eat properly. Feeling pretty good about all of this at the moment.

Well done to West Brom for exposing us like the amateurs that we are. Dreadful performance. Not sure where to begin. That first half was decent, but I can't believe Moyes took off Kagawa. Yes, Januzaj is a fantastic prospect and he looked good in parts, but taking off Kagawa was retarded and we paid for it. The defence were dire, particularly the full-backs. Rio was awful today and Carrick didn't really do an awful lot, didn't do anything going forward and didn't defend well. We can't score from open play and we can't defend. This is the sort of game you need to be winning if you want to be in the Top 4. Moyes needs to pull his finger out and start learning very quickly or else he'll be out by Christmas. On the plus side, Kagawa (first half) looked good and Nani and Rooney both looked like they could do something. If Nani AND Kagawa don't start the next game, I'm going to drop a bollock.

Pretty much agree with all of that. Gylfie looks great this season, as does Eriksen. Gutted United didn't try and get him in the Summer. I missed the other Torres incident from earlier, something to do with scratching. But, his sending off was a bit daft. It looked bad first time around, but then it looked just like a normal aerial challenge when seeing the replays. It's irritating how the only person who makes the decision to send a player off is the same person who can only view the incident once. Replays would have shown the referee that it was a fair challenge. Had Torres been on, I would have fancied Chelsea to win it, although I could still see it ending 1-1. Good game. Dembele was a beast in that second half.

Fuck my eyes. A midfield of Nani, Carrick, Anderson and Kagawa. Hernandez and Rooney up front. That's more like it. If Anderson doesn't start turning up, he should leave after this season ends. He should be starting and producing the goods much more regularly. Only downside for me is Jones starting at right-back. There's even potential there to take Anderson off (if he doesn't perform) and put Kagawa in the middle.
-
We've scored 17 goals in our last 3 games. That's more like it. The strikers are playing well and my midfield are coming up with the goods. 3 wins should see me stay up. I always think about 7 or 8 wins are usually enough to see you retain your league position.

The average DV across the 18 man squad is 11.1, although it's worth pointing out that I have Daan Wielink (32 years old) on 7 and the new 17year old on 9. Aside from that, everyone is above 10. I have 5 players on 13 or above DV, 5 on 11 and 12DV and all of the rest are on 10. (bar Daan and young lad). No real worries this season. Daan is in his last days, so I'm not too fussed about getting him to 10 or above. If anything, it's just about getting the DVs as high as they can go.

Muuuuuch better performance tonight. Very close game, with two sides who were up for it. Rooney was everywhere tonight and looked the business. I liked what I saw of Nani too, he HAS to start ahead of Young. Smalling and Evans were class at the back. I was a bit worried in the first half when Liverpool saw so much of the ball, but Smalling in particular looked great. He belongs in the heart of defence. On that note, it's good to see Rafael back at right-back. Only downside for me was the centre-midfield. Giggs and Jones together didn't work and we just about got away with it today. Giggs was on his game tonight. But still, not the type of midfield we should be playing. We looked much better with Kagawa and Nani on the wings, mind.

Have a stunning birthday.

Good game, brah. I was expecting a reverse scoreline. Could have gone either way, had I missed my penalty and you scored yours. I'm tipping you to survive and me to go down. Looking at the DVs of this team and the skill levels/age, they've got great potential.

I agree. Looking at the stats from our game, it gives you the impression that it was closer than it really was. For example: City - United Total Passes 334 - 478 Passing Accuracy 80.5% - 86.2% Possession 41.6% - 58.4% - fucking bullshit... Total Shots 18 - 14 Shots on target 5 - 3 Shots from inside the box 7 - 8 Whereas anyone who actually watched the game would/will tell you that United created fuck all. Plus, the stats also don't take into account when these chances were made. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of these chances that we apparently created weren't done when City were already 4-0 up and had taken the foot off the gas.

We had a SpectrumZX, A Commodore64 and probably a few other things, but the first thing that I can consciously remember was playing Super Mario All Stars for the very first time. Loading it up, dat music, dat run and jump mechanic, dat dying music, dat victory music. That's the first thing I can remember. I might have played something else before that, but this is the one that I'm counting. Starwing was shortly after this, with me not having a clue what the fudge I was doing at first and then getting the hang of it. That had me hooked. After that, I received a Master System and then eventually got a MegaDriveII. Streets of Rage.

Brb, being re-incarnated as an eagle.

Believe me brah, words can't express. First of all, congrats to City because they ruined us today. We were second best everywhere. Look, United lacking creativity. If only we had players such as Kagawa and Nani on the bench. Wingers looking poor? Hmm, that Januzaj fella looked pretty good the other week, why not give him a chance? Not on the bench? What? It's ok, we'll just start with Ashley Young, he'll justify his transfer fee. Ok, maybe that won't work out, but we can still rely on Antonio Valencia to watch the runs from the flank. If only we were allowed to make substitutions in this game! Now is the right time to take off Young. Let's see, shall I bring on Hernandez, and go for a 4-3-3/4-5-1 with him through the middle and Rooney and Welbeck flanking him? Nope, it's 4-0, no point in attacking. Maybe we should bring on Kagawa, he looked good in midweek. I hear Dortmund are desperate to have him back, so why not play him more as a statement that we want to keep him? Nah, too much sense. Ok, it must be Nani, he can play on the wing. He's bound to add some flair. No, let's put Cleverley there. I see that our fullback Evra is looking pretty tired. It must be there fact that he hasn't MISSED A GAME SINCE MOSES PARTED THE RED SEA. Maybe we should have played that Fabio or Buttner there in midweek to give the guy some rest. At his age, he probably needs it. No? Ok, you're right, I'm sure he'll be fine against the likes of Navas and Aguero. That Negredo bloke doesn't look quick either. Dammit, Rafael still isn't fit. It's ok. NOBODY has cover for right-backs these days. Let's just put Smalling there. I'm sure Valencia will help him out. Let's not put a suitable alternative on the bench either. Fellaini? He'll just slot right in straight away. Midfield isn't that important anyway, especially central midfield. No. Rather than buying him before deadline day, we'll just struggle through the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool and then let Fellaini come up against Toure and leave the rest down to fate. Planning is for losers. Fuck this shit. All of this is a culmination of poor planning in the summer and poor line-ups so far. How on Earth can anyone justify Young getting into this team. HOW? He has looked awful for every single second that he has played. Doesn't defend, doesn't attack, doesn't pick out players, doesn't pass, loses the ball, doesn't track. What the fuck does he do? Why is he even playing? Had we been serious about getting Fellaini right at the beginning, we could have rebuilt our midfield around him. Him and Carrick looked like they had never met each other before this game and, to some extent, they hardly know each other. It's shoddy. Today was THE best time to use Kagawa and we blew it. He operates behind the striker. He would have caused City problems. Throughout that game, all I can remember is the Fellaini chance in the second half, the Evra header and that's pretty much it. We created nothing for about 80 minutes. Inexcusable. With Van Persie not playing, today was the time for Rooney to play up top and to have Kagawa behind him. I can't get over just how poor we looked in every department. We didn't create, we didn't attack and we sure as hell didn't defend. At least 3 of the goals were, in some way, down to Fellaini. Poor defending on the post for the second (from the corner), poor defending for the third (just letting him walk right past him) and he was absolutely mugged for pace for the fourth. Valencia was shite defensively, offered no help to Smalling. Moyes has no balls. These line-ups are poor and look just like the line-ups that we would have chosen under Ferguson in the past, except Ferguson would have prepared us better defensively. I would have more respect for Moyes if he had tried to stamp his authority and play it his way. Playing the likes of Young and Smalling is just a fucking cop-out. He saw how poor we looked defensively in pre-season and did nothing about it. You reap what you sow.

He played pretty well. Granted, he didn't play in his best position, but he played well. No Van Persie for today's game, not even on the bench. Possibly an injury there, then? Can't believe Ashley Young is starting, though. Would rather see Nani or Kagawa. Even Januzaj ahead of him. *waits for Young to score a hat-trick and then get sent off for diving*

Lol at Charlie and Ell. :p Nah, I'm still not really "feeling it". It could be that I'm just knackered from work, a combination of things. It's not really exciting me. Normally I'd be pumped for the game against Haden on Tuesday, but I don't really feel anything, except tiredness. I'll make my decision at the end of the season whether or not I'll be back for the one after.

You won't see a visible improvement for a while yet, brah. Possibly months. You'll feel stronger as it goes on, but give it time. It's a slow burner.

Our school is so badly managed that it is seriously pissing me off. We had no internet access yesterday and we won't have it at all for the rest of the week. We were apparently moving to high speed broadband or something amazing in April and that hasn't happened. Our internet is so painfully slow that it's not even worth it when the connection is there. Far too often I've had to load videos up before breaktime just to give myself a chance of the whole video loading before the next lesson. And then, sometimes our stupid filters get in the way and nothing works anyway. Seriously, I hate it when technology fails. I've been back from work for about an hour and got NOTHING done during that time because of the lack of internet access. So, it now means I'm now having to do work when getting home.

Valencia looked great tonight. Best game he's had in a very long time. Just the simple stuff, like beating his man. I've missed seeing him do that.

Yup. Cars of ten.
