Word. Let's move on. One of my mates was going to get the Wii U bundle with Mario Kart but decided against it. Instead, he has recommended that we use my place as a meeting ground for our Mario Kart fix. Cannae wait. The local multiplayer is still going to be the best around.

I'm excited about The Last of Us. Big time. Personally, I'm excited to be trying out some of the gritty games that you just don't get on Nintendo's systems, or that are extremely rare to come by. I'm actually looking forward to having a powerful machine, a good operating system and all of the online features. It's a bit like comparing my old Sony Ericsson K800i with my Moto G... Also, no more bullshit over, "will this third party game come? In what way will it be gimped for Nintendo's systems? what features will be missing?" Can't fucking wait. Tired of that particular bullshit. If the PS4 was backwards compatible with the PS3, I would have purchased it already. :p

So, apparently there's no voice chat during the online races. Can anybody confirm?
-
Yeah, brah. My middle ar is smaller than my left ar, which is also smaller than my right. That's a good achievement, especially given the poor eyesight of the elderly. You should consider that a huge boost, brah. Good job.

Film was alright. I thought it started off really well and it all seemed great until about 2/3rds of the way through where it just seemed to lose a bit of focus and steam.
-
Same as Shorty, really. There's lots of games that I want but there isn't really one killer title yet that's forcing me to get it NOW. I'm looking forward to trying Watch Dogs, Destiny, Alien Isolation, Tomb Raider and The Last of Us. Oh, and Infamous. It's only going to get better, too.

I'll add you, brah. My Friendcode is 9263104323199542321. We'll organise our games over MSN, see you there.

It's a bit of a stretch to call it fun, imo. :p I know and I'm glad that he did. He would have ruined The Matrix and it would have been Will Smithified; the process of changing the entire nature of the film to fit Will Smith. Imagine the dialogue. It would be even worse than it was in the sequels.

Wild Wild West was just on telly right now. Bwahahahahhahhhahah. Who on Earth thought that this would be a good idea? You'd have thought that at some point, somebody would have piped up and said, "you know, what we're doing is a bit shit, really." Hideous film. I'm impressed that such an abomination was made and that I was alive to witness it.

Killed myself playing football on Friday. I had sweat everywhere. Also played squash today for the first time in about 2 weeks (Ine went to Belgium) and am feeling the tiredness now. I'm pleased with the weights side of things and have been keeping it consistent for a while, despite having disruptions and stuff. Shit is tiring but it's ultimately been worth it.

It has begun. My electric drum kit fund has now become the PS4 fun. 200 quid already. Hoping for some sweet deals after E3/Summer-time/Christmas. I'm ready to believe. (unless Sony have a dreadful E3...)

It better be amazing, I'll be heartbroken if Wario is nerfed in any way. I'm looking forward to trying out the gravity mechanic and seeing what that adds. As someone who didn't bother with 7 and disliked Wii, I'm hoping that it'll seem quite fresh to me. Also, it's going to look immense in HD. Hoping for a big "wow" when I boot it up for the first time.

It is boring, but it's also necessary. This is more than just "Nintendo not adding voicechat", this is more to do with Nintendo dropping the ball too many times. Adding the chat in lobbies but not in the actual game is typical of Nintendo's logic. Fans have a right to be pissed off. They should be allowed to vent and discuss it on a discussion board. It's too late now to change anything, obviously. But, it also shows that fans are tired of this bullshit. They're haemorrhaging fans really quickly and pulling shit like this won't bring those fans back. It's going to send them the other way. It's a shame because this game could have and should have been the statement that Nintendo were going to go all out to include all of the features that you'd expect from such a game. When you couple this with the information about the battle mode being lacklustre and the poor character line-up, it's plain to see why fans are mixed about this.

Those images look great, man. How does it compare with that original video where the game got revealed? What about the mechanics of the game, the animations, etc? Does it "feel" like a PS4/next gen game or is it a PS3-esque title but prettier?

Chelsea's situation was a bit more farcical when you consider that they spent a stupid sum of money on that team and have more funds to spare/buy more players if they needed to. Although, they had sacked their manager and were relying on a then-interim manager to guide them through. So, to that extent, they hadn't had an awful lot of time to set things up properly, do the things that Di Matteo would have truly wanted with the resources that he had. It's not quite that simple. Edit: LOL, just noticed that my last.fm list in my profile/on the left has an all Oasis list. Yours has Blur. BRITPOP FIIIIGHT.

Have we even seen anything from the Wii U version? That worries me. Everything we have seen seems to be from the PS4 version. I wonder if the overall product will be gimped due to it trying to appear on as many platforms as possible. I would have much preferred it if Ubisoft had just gone next-gen only with this one.

He had to play Costa from the start. If he plays from the start, you can always take him off at some point if it doesn't work out. Plus it gives the team a boost seeing him there. Keeping him on the bench and then bringing him on would have been a terrible tactical move as you potentially lose two subs there; one by bringing Costa on and then another by taking him off again. Not playing him at all would be an option, but then he's the best player and if there's a slight chance he can make a difference in the game (like if they had a penalty in the 5th minute or something) then they have to take that chance. Ancelotti is incredible. Chelsea were retarded sacking him a few seasons back. Brilliant manager, knows how to win things and he is just generally a likeable guy. Wouldn't complain one bit if he was my manager. Only if we're team-mates.

*insert joke about John Terry running onto the pitch wearing a Real Madrid shirt here*
-
They should say exactly the same things as they would have done before the game, that Simeone has done an immense job and it has been a tremendous achievement to get Atletico to the final (they were 2 minutes away from winning it) and to clinch La Liga along the way. To lose in the final against Real Madrid, with Costa out/going off after less than 10 minutes and with the likes of Benzema, Ronaldo, Bale, Modric and Di Maria in that Real Madrid starting line-up is no shame. Gutted for Atletico. They didn't deserve to lose that 4-1, scoreline is harsh.
-
Di Maria has been brilliant. I wasn't a fan of him, but he's looked the business for the last two seasons or so. Wouldn't surprise me if he comes up with the winner. Real miss Alonso's service. They've struggled going through the middle as Atletico have kept it tight there.
-
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! :'( On the other hand, 30 more minutes of football.
-
Watch Doge. Wow. Such hack. Much steal.
-
Atleticoooooooooo! Just another 45 to go. How amazing would it be if they did it?!
-
Go for the ones you are mildly interested in, but wouldn't actually buy. That's why I'm going for The Wind Waker HD.

I agree with everything that you say, especially that last bit. We've already ordered this. I keep shifting daily between being excited and then not caring. Even when I am excited, it's not...hugely excited. It's not like how I was excited to play ZombiU or The Wonderful 101, for example. In fact, I think the deal with the free game was what secured it for me.
