I'm experiencing withdrawal already, especially after that epic night with EssCeeGee and Jimbob. I had some time to play this last night but my eyes could not keep the fuck open. Ended up going to bed. Could somebody explain what this Crucible mode is and how I can access it.

I'm not playing the demo. I'm just going to go all IN.gif when this comes out. Cannae wait. Fucking Fifa, brah!

Had some great fun tonight with @S\.C\.G. Haha, how fucking loooooong was that Strike mission where we kept dying over and over. Also, can't look at NEUK again without think "fuck". Thanks to @Eenuh for ruining that one for us. :p Seriously enjoyed that. Could have played for another hour or so. Damn work. Won't be able to play again til Monday I reckon as Ine has family over from Belgium. Feelsbadman.

I've just sent you a friend request. I'm up for some fun if you are.

My games have been packed full of people. Not sure what's happening in yours. I've sent a request to join the clan!

I'm really enjoying this. It just feels very satisfying to play for some reason. The weapons have a great kick to them. It doesn't feel like I'm shooting with a pea shooter. Currently only level three. Still getting a grasp of what it is that I'm doing exactly. I'm in the Tower at the moment and just wandering around to see what's there.

Just take a punt and get it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that.

Oh, Dazzybrah, do you even read? I was talking about Goldeneye for the Wii on the previous page.

I've been sneakily reading this thread at break-times and dinner-time when at work. It's actually been very nice to see so many people off this forum excited about the same game. No arguments, no negativity, just gamers excited about gaming. I've been a bit nervous all day and didn't expect it to get here. But, I arrived home after work and found the package leaning on my door! It's heeeeere. Downloaded the update. Going to have some food (Indian, hnnnnnnnnng) for our poverty anniversary meal (too tired to go out, too late, have people coming at the weekend so going out then anyway) and then will pop this on. I have no fucking idea what this game is about. It's...quite exciting really. All of my games so far for the PS4 have been steps into the unknown. Tomb Raider, WatchDogs, the Last of Us, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed, they're not very well known to me.

That's the paradox, I really enjoyed the singleplayer and thought it looked quite good for a Wii game at the time. But, I was blown away by just how bad the multiplayer was. It surprised me. I was certain it would be at least decent. It's probably better online...maybe?

Maybe I'm just really tired, but I found this quite amusing.

Just realised that Tesco won't dispatch my copy until the day of release. Am cri. Ine's family are coming from Belgium this weekend. I probably won't get to play it til...Monday. Fuckkkkk. Had a funny moment earlier. Ine: "Shall we get some cake and cider tomorrow to celebrate?" Jim: "oooh, but the game won't arrive tomorrow." Ine: "I meant for our anniversary :(" Jim: "ooooohhhhhh!"

I think Ine and I played it once or twice and haven't touched it since. You're not missing much. I swore it was online though, can't believe that it isn't. I actually got to play Nintendoland with two other people this weekend. The Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion games are good. However, the disc is now back in the box and it'll probably never see the light of day again. A bit of a shame. Howeveeeeer, I got to play one of the worst multiplayer games ever this weekend. Goldeneye for the Wii. Fuck me, how can Goldeneye be the name of the best AND worst multiplayer simultaneously? The N64 version is great but the Wii version in local multiplayer is AWFUL. Not just a bit bad, it's fucking tragic. There were so many things that were wrong with it. I wish I had filmed it. (one of those moments where you kinda wish the WiiU had a share button...just putting that out there ) Having three people with Wiimotes trying to play an FPS casually just doesn't work. Unless you're all sat in exactly the same spot, it just...it's a mess. Turning was so slow, the game looked really terrible and it ultimately just become a chore. There was no passion in it either, it's so utterly boring. I'm still shocked. How could that go so wrong? I don't think the game in single player looked bad at all but it looks disgusting in multiplayer. Never again. However, it did bring on some laughs.

Fucking ITV pundits salivating over Danny Welbeck like he's suddenly just burst onto the scene. I don't think I've ever really seen him have a bad game for England. Even my Mum was getting on it tonight on the phone after the game. "Oh, Danny Welbeck is quite good, isn't he?" Fucks sake, Muuuuuuuuuuum. You're meant to be on our side.

Fuck man, I haven't lifted in 2 days (felt lazy as fuck, too) so lifted tonight and am sooo tired now. My arms felt huge at the time and now feel incredibly heavy. Struggling to keep my eyes open.

I wouldn't. :p What would be the point in that? It's not really designed for a handheld machine and the 3DS' limitations would only hold it back. Sure, the userbase is bigger, but we'd get an inferior game at the end of it. Nobody wins with that one. They've missed the boat with this one. If there was a time to do it, it would've been during the first year of the WiiU. Don't think we'll see it now. Best to get Next Level Games doing something else.
-
I've preordered it and am waiting for it to dispatch. I'm not excited about this. I know very little about it. I probably won't know what to do. I hope to be impressed.

Mario Strikers was great, but I don't know if the WiiU would be a great fit for it. It was only really good because lots of N-Europeans picked it up at the start of the Wii's life and it was one of the first online games on a Nintendo home console. It caught the wave at the right time. I fear that this is too late and who would really buy it now? I'd only really pick it up if there were at least half a dozen others who would, so we could have a tournament.

We had a lovely weekend down here in Bournemouth with @Ashley who came to visit. The weekend involved a shit ton of videogames, including kick his arse at Injustice, crying at how bad the multiplayer was on Goldeneye Wii and playing some Brawl. We wandered to the arcades in town, ate some awesome cake, had dinner at Zizzi (tomato and pesto bread hnnnnnnnnngg) and drank cider. Also, doritos. All in all, it was lovely.

They haven't been let off the hook at all. The sales are arse and the third parties have gone. They've paid the price. There's not really much more that can be said about that which hasn't been said before.

Happy day of marriage, Flamebrah. Well done for ensnaring your woman and binding her to a lifelong contract. You are living the dream. Also, you are apparently on the better side of Niagara Falls, since the American side is overdeveloped and trashy from what I have heard. You are winning.
