Hohokum is wonderful. I played it last night after two hours of football and being completely worn out and I have to admit that I thought I might have been high playing it. I don't even- It's strange. It reminds me of Electroplankton, but perhaps stranger. I had no idea what I was doing, but I liked it a lot. Sound design is much beautiful, wow, such joy, love, etc.

Anybody tried Race The Sun yet? I've been on it for about an hour. The game is pretty fun. I like it a lot.

I completely agree with what you're saying. It is a bad system. It isn't fair and it doesn't give the public what they want or deserve. I don't agree with many of UKIP's policies, therefore I didn't vote for them...but if they received such a percentage of the overall vote, there must be greater representation at the end of it. I agree with this too. There would be more incentive for people to vote if each vote actually mattered...whereas at the moment I don't feel that each vote matters. My Mum is in Wales and a vote for Labour there is seemingly worth more than a vote for Labour down here, for example. That can't be right. Agreed. Thankfully, we both have similar political viewpoints in our household, so no arguments. I've got to admit that this is the first time an election has got me so wound up. There HAS to be a better way of doing this whole thing and I'm more than willing to give PR a try.

You at the King and Queen or Pav Tav, brah?

I've been watching Channel 4's coverage all evening. It's hilarious. I love David Mitchell.

He doesn't dribble the ball from his own goal line to their end though, does he? He's quick, he's an excellent dribbler and he's unbelievably good in every other area, buuuuut he would suffer without the quality of his Barcelona team mates to supply him the ball. The space that would be available to him on the pitch would be dramatically smaller than he's used to and defenders would get tight to him.

We've got so many fantastic footballers in this generation that will go down in history. These two are the generation-defining players though and are both important. I also think that they spur each other on, particularly Ronaldo who I feel needs competition to thrive. W...what? Why would you move the entire team? This isn't about whether Barcelona can survive in a different league, it's about whether Messi can survive without Barcelona. The answer is he probably can't, nor will he try to.

Nintendo and Online Gaming. What's The Deal?
Fierce_LiNk replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
£20 isn't really the right price for this sort of game. It's a Nintendo exclusive, so that automatically means that the diehards will regard it higher than a third party game. £30-35 on release is probably about right. There's no way Nintendo would go for a price point like that on release, they just wouldn't. Edit: Oh, @dazzybee. I think we'll just sidestep this one, haha. -
It's not grabbing me at all. I've already got DriveClub and feel really happy with that. If I hadn't got DriveClub, I would have gambled on Cars.

Nintendo and Online Gaming. What's The Deal?

Just checked, I also got Alien Isolation for £35 on release. Tesco direct are actually pretty good for prices. TheGameCollection haven't let me down either. These aren't really sales or bargain prices are they? They're big games on release. You'd have to be an absolute fool to buy a new game for more than £45...it just doesn't need to be done. I don't care about the price of Splatoon as I'm not interested in it whatsoever, but gaming in general is quite fair with regards to pricing and it's got better thanks to the rise of online shopping. If you go into game on release and pay something like £49.99 for a new game on release, then you're going about it the wrong way. -

Can't remember that last time I paid more than £35 for a game on release. The Witcher and Batman have both been preordered for 35 each. I got FIFA and Destiny on release date for the same price. -
I'd be lying if I said I'm not a bit meh right now.

Dat feel where you currently live in an area that has NEVER been anything but Conservative and realise it was pretty pointless going out to vote earlier. The system sucks.
-
What you going to do with regards to playing the game? You going to watch the film/s first? I'd recommend watching at least the first film first before playing it. I think the setting, atmosphere and sound design will all be appreciated more if you recognise what it's trying to emulate.

Watch Alien and Aliens. I'm one of the three people who actually like Alien 3. Burn the Resurrection disc. It's shiiiiiit. Enjoy the game.
-
Don't be fucking n00b and just buy the game already. I will come to Germany or wherever it is you live and squat you for 5x5 if you don't do as I say. It's the best game of last year.
-
Both are absolutely sickening players. We're living in a great time where we can see both of them at the top of their game.

PS4 Gameplay footage is now up. Taken from here. 3:12 onwards...

Downloaded them straight away. Can't wait to play some of these. A pretty good month for me.

The tri grip weights are the cheapest, so I may just go for it. Thaaaaanks. Feels kinda nice thinking about having a sturdy barbell. When I was squatting with my current bar, part of me was worried about the bend. Think I'll just go for the tri grip weights.

I've got to finish The New Order. Possibly whilst listening to some New Order.

Did anyone watch the game tonight? How good were Vidal and Tevez? Vidal was absolutely everywhere for 90 minutes...seriously impressed at his stamina, work rate and tenacity. Would give my right bollock to have him at United. I really miss Tevez. Broke my heart when he joined the scum. Excellent little player. Would take him above RvP and Falcao atm.

Did you use these plates for deadlifting? If so, can you confirm it was roughly the same height? Question regarding the build quality of the plates: Is there a greater risk of them breaking in the middle, those tri "handles" due to its structure? Would you recommend that set or is it best going for the "normal" style plates? You won't believe how hard it is trying to find the dimensions of these plates...
