  1. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Watford have sacked Nigel Pearson with 2 games remaining. This relegation battle just got serious.
  2. I'm around 18/19 hours into this game now.
  3. Spiderverse is easily my favourite Marvel film. Easily. It's so bluddy gorgeous to look at too, but the soundtrack is utterly perfect. I listen to it often and had it on when I played the Spider-Man PS4 game. I really, really like it.
  4. Funny enough, I thought the same thing as I posted that. This is waaaaay more accessible than 2001. It's basically just very, very strange. I would go into it with low expectations and wouldn't aim to compare it to anything else that you've seen. Might want to crack open a few beers, too.
  5. It's got a lot of mixed opinions. I loooove it, but I know several people who hate it. It really differs from person to person.
  6. Yes, it was Franco Manca. That's the Brighton place. The table in the middle/right of the shot (not the one on the edge of the screen) is the one that we sat at! Can't find my pizza on the menu because I think it might have been a special on the board or something that day, but it was a veggie type at least. It was great, definitely going back there. Apparently we have one in Bournemouth....never noticed, but it's been ages since I've been in the centre.
  7. We went out for Pizza in Brighton one of the last times that we were there and I'm about 90% sure the place that we went to was Franco Manca. Going to check out their menu now to confirm if it was them or not. I remember it being great.
  8. I sense that the joke was not to your liking, m'lord? How did it make you feel? Did it touch a nerve?
  9. I'm going to need to see an example of that peanut sauce, possibly with a taste test. (be careful how you read that sentence) The gourmet burgers are greeeat, man. Plus, we're not cave people, we have evolved to use cutlery and GOD DAMMMN I will use a knife and fork with my food rather than get my hands all messy. That Restaurant Hamburg place sounds good. Just looking at their menu now. Their disco burger sounds amazing, tbh. Would demolish that. EDIT: Trust me, @Sméagol. One day, I am going to eat that burger and I will use a knife and fork. YOU WILL SEE. YOU WILL ALL SEE.
  10. I use a knife and fork for my burgers. It's never an issue and find it waaaay easier than potentially trying to take huge mouthfuls out of it. I don't give a shit how I look eating a burger when I'm out. I'm eating good food, so that's all that matters. Better than Ed Milibanding it.
  11. Come at me, bro. I like Killing Eve, but I don't think we even finished season 2. It's good, but there's sooooo much great tv out there, plus tons of stuff on the backlog to watch through Netflix/Prime, etc. Jodie Comer, though.
  12. I've dropped the standing overhead press/military press from my routine and have replaced with the seated version and am enjoying it a loooooooooot more. Also making good progress with it, whereas I stalled with the standing variant. I'm in awe of these guys who can overhead press huge numbers because it is honestly a massive stumbling block for me. Can never quite get it to feel hugely natural and I'm not getting the rewards out of it (better developed/stronger shoulders). I may go back to it in the future, but right now I don't miss it too much.
  13. We definitely watched the first two seasons, maybe even the third. Can't fully remember. It's alright/good and I enjoyed it. It's a typical BBC drama though in that you can enjoy it, but it's forgettable. I feel the same about Killing Eve, although I think that's slightly better.
  14. I remember the Lotus! Was that seriously 11 years ago?! Looked super awesome to drive.
  15. Into The Spider-Verse is my favourite Spider-Man film. Looooove it. It's also got a banging soundtrack, too. Similarlrlrly, Fury Road is an incredible film. 10/10 post, it has everything. Dat tv, dat spidey, dat Charlize, dat ev'rything.
  16. Whenever we go to Gourmet Burger Kitchen (hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng), I get the falafel burger and it's one of my favourite things to order from anywhere. It tastes delicious and stands on its own as a very good burger. I'm gutted that we don't have a GBK in Bournemouth. My first ever experience was in Brighton and I thought it was a Brighton-only thing, but I was somewhat delighted to know that you can find them around the country. Been to one in Brighton, Cardiff, Southampton, Manchester...maybe even Bath? Can't remember if we've gone to one in London or not, but I would assume so. My favourite chain, alongside Pizza Express. Here's a pic of it with somebody also ordering a large onion ring to go in it, which I have never thought about before until now... It's a fucking delicious burger. Pluuuuuus, even though it's not on the menu, I always ask for satay sauce to go with my chips. Satay sauce and chips is just an unbelievably good combination. Can't believe more places don't offer satay sauce as a dipping sauce. My plan to become a millionaire is to sell satay sauce like you would sell ketchup and bbq sauce, since NOBODY really does this. I'm going to be filthy fucking rich.
  17. Mirin' the number plate. "What's your car's registration number, bruv?" "Black box..." Nice car. Love the colour. Can we have a picture of you inside it, posing, please?
  18. Thought United were awful tonight, bar the final half of the second half. The third quarter. Martial and Rashford looked great again, though. Crystal Palace very unlucky not to come away from that game with something.
  19. I was checking your score whilst watching the Leicester/Sheffield United match and thought you were good for the win. 87th minute equaliser is harsh. Tomorrow's game between West Ham and Watford is huuuuuuge.
  20. There's a still tinge of regret that I'm feeling, too. Keep the suggestions/pics coming people. FOOOOOOOD POOOOOORN.
  21. Hnnnnnng. I've only ever had Lebanese food once with a good friend in Brighton. Can't believe we only did it the once, since it was so tasty. That looks so good. That bottom right plate looks delicious.
  22. I expect all three clubs will be looking for the same calibre of defender, but no immediate names spring to mind off the top of my head. There are probably tons of candidates in the Italian and German leagues, or even in the Dutch and French leagues. There's always talent out there, but it's hard finding the right players who can cope with the Premier League and the jump up to standard of the top level. The Van Dijk signing looked crazy at the time, but nobody's laughing now. To pay for a centre back of that quality, you're going to need to pay somewhere along those prices to get that. He's made a huge difference. I think the key is finding them when they're much younger and then developing them/moulding them into a top class player, sorta like United did with Vidic. He looked horrendous when he first came, but he left as one of our best ever defenders. Same with Evra. I see certain characteristics in Lindelöf that I like, and he has got age on his side, so maybe. I'm not sold on Maguire and think that he makes too many errors or is just not quite solid enough to make it into that tier of player. He has lots of advantages, but quite a few drawbacks. There are times where I can see the Maguire-Lindelöf partnership working and we haven't conceded too many goals in recent games. But, that last minute equaliser for Southampton has left a sour taste in a lot of fan's mouths. In situations like that, you need your defence to take charge and control that situation. It was a test and they didn't do too well.
  23. The soundtrack for this game is immense.
  24. Nice post, @Sméagol. I'm admiring your dedication. Jealous that @Eenuh and @Vileplume2000 have seen Tool live. Desperately want to see them.
