fyi, varicose removal can have a very painful recovery. I've got varicose veins on both sides, both severely so, both my mum and dad had ops. I've got them already but they aren't causing me much discomfort or any pain... thank god.

oh yeah i forgot why i came in this thread earlier.... getting old lol i went to see a chiropodist about ma feets today... she says I've got plantar fasciitis.. Looking at doing stretches but she says that the damage might already be done as its been long term, so i'll be looking at shoe inserts and/or steroid injections... ohyay.. so thanks to my doctor who told me to basically go away 6 months ago... and i have to wear sensible shoes for the rest of my life... sad times

perhaps it was a blessing he went when he was relatively well... my uncle had aggressive cancer but he was very fortunate that it killed him before he had to spend months in bed in agonising pain. Apparently he was laughing one minute and dead the next. Sad but in a way a relief that he passed so easily. Condolences to you and your family.

for 6 or 12 months? Mines £115 for the year.... I'd love to buy a new car that didn't need tax & mot (for 3 years anyway) i had to pay a shitload of money to repair my car recently, and i'm getting it in for service, pre mot, and maybe a t cut. And of course the inevitable mot test... all in one month.

Yeah I've got pretty bad tinnitus which means I go deaf as a doornob with any significant levels of background noise.. so pubs are the anti ideal. Yoga class? I was exactly the same as you Ine (possibly still am to some extent) but now I work in a call centre. That's one way to get rid o your fears of telephonage :p Apparently I now talk with a "call centre voice" whatever that is... But yeah, just keep at it and keep calm... they actually won't laugh at you or whatever notion you have in your head that's preventing you from calling! Honest! Chances are when you call someone they are more likely to be thinking what's for dinner than how nervous you are!! by the way the list thing is less uncommon than you think... i often do it when its an important call

Last night I made home made pizza, from scratch... flour and everything, for only 630 calories. omn nom. I've just put these in the oven, some white rolls. Again homemade. 824 calories total, so about 100 each. They're both based on a very similar recipe.... and so simple to make!!

sibling angst.... i feel your pain also... my sister has gotten really centred around her bf. She comes in and barely speaks to us (speaks more to the freakin cats) then leaves the house for the remainder of the night! When she is here she's demanding stuff be done, or things got for her, like, an hour ago... But yeah... another topic altogether... My hair has started to fall out, and my psoriasis is coming back (only significantly on my scalp at the moment) and its doing my bap in. Scratch scratch scratch. Forgot just how bad it was and thought I caught lice when i was at vital lol

my family are mostly bible bashing weirdos. Last time I went out my aunt was over... she has just recently been given the all clear from cancer and she basically put it down to her faith... (as opposed to the doctors treating her... lol) and announced, through prayer, that God was her all and the most important thing in her life.... We have a "minister" in our family too, who shouts louder than any living human being on the planet, and has never understood the term "indoor voice". My family unit (mum, dad, sister, me) tend to keep ourselves to ourselves....because sometimes the crazy is a bit much. Most of my family here are on my dads side, my mums side all live in Birmingham so I don't get to see them too much..

I know ciclosporin is designed for liver transplants and its highly likely that's what he'd be on... nasty nasty drug.. I'm scarred with lots of permanent dark red spots from it, and it has indeed got a high risk of cancer too... not forgetting the other numerous side effects from drugs like that! Poor man, hope he lets himself take it easier.. sure it can't be easy for someone that's so obviously driven to succeed.. and yeah i'm with jamba, its very unlikely that he'll survive a very long life with this, most kinds of abdominal cancer have poor mortality rates, without him just having a liver transplant.

my feet are in agonising paaaaaaaaaaain. stupid feet. Have bitten the bullet and booked in with a private podiatrist. I know my arches are too high and i've a funny deformity on the top/front of my foot.... but my gp won't refer me because of my weight... despite my arthritic history and the whole deformity which is plain to see... your feet don't deform because of extra weight!!!!

they played a few oldies.. there was only a few i didn't know! Bleed american & Sweetness were the two I could recall from memory... I was quite pissed by this time :p

BEST DAY EVER (yesterday) Went to tennents vital!! PIT TICKETS!!!! got to see freaking JIMMY EAT WORLD :D:D Eminem was awesome but by then i was physically destroyed and had to go sit side stage, still saw as much if not more than the people in the pit...! d12 were fucking awesome... Talking to the audience (hellooo ireland... put you hands up if you are motherfucking wasted!!!) and kaiser chiefs lead singer was so fun, running through the partition between pit and everyone else! Jimmy eat world just rocked my socks off. At this point there wasn't a huge amount of people so we had lots of space to bounce the fuck around like loonies.. dancing our socks off And I've never smelt so much weed in my entire life... they were obviously lenient on the searching!! My ears are still ringing and i've only had about 4 hours sleep since... but by fuck I had a GREAT time. <3 Oh yeah and my feet hurt like FUCK. Standing around for about 8 hours with arthritis in your joints ain't advisable!!! XD
