13 year old "thought it would be good to have a baby"
Raining_again replied to EEVILMURRAY's topic in General Chit Chat
*nods* Girls have gotten preggers at that age for years. People don't even bat an eyelash about that anymore! I think it is, however, unusual for a boy to get a girl pregnant at that age, perhaps that's why it was featured (or its a p.o.s. newspaper with nothing else to report) Considering most women tend to go for older blokes, (not generalising but its the majority lets be fair here) not younger ones. Maybe thats why its so uncommon.. It's got a big stigma attached to it... Especially at that age. Personally I wasn't interested in men (read: puberty) 'til I was 15/16. o_o I think I may have been an exception. It scares me at how early kids think of these things... And I know MANY parents over here, that wouldn't even consider telling their kids about sex until they are 15!! But yeah...It's kinda freaky. She's looks 20 and he looks 5... -
Michael Jackson contracts MRSA-type superbug

Well he did have surgery, there are risks. Sad that he got such an awful infection from it mind you. Wouldn't wish it on anyone. -
I need to get a licence.. Its gotten to a point where I cant really depend on anything or anyone else. I used to walk to most places, but my arthritis takes a beating for it. Buses are non-existance and a nuisance. And my family have had a bit of a bust up regarding my mother doing a lot for us... So I feel like I don't want to depend on her for too much anymore. It's a bit complicated, my da said things he shouldn't have, my mum got upset... etc. Thus I'm starting driving lessons, wahey. I dunno how I'm gonna cope on my first lesson, in the rush hour traffic..... D: So serious budgeting ahoy. I'm getting 2 lessons a week - looking to be preeetty expensive. Mehh. Life sucks. Its always such an effort

I would imagine there would be disclaimers in the T&C's to state that you are allowing that nature of information to be passed on. afaik: phone companies can track as much as your postcode. which is pretty specific!

I'll agree, northern Scotland is very beautiful, driving through all of the mountains to get up north, absolutely awe inspiring.

A place I used to often go when I needed to think, chill or just take out some me time. Its about 1 minutes walk away from my house ^__^

I bleached my eyebrows by accident when I was doing my hair... Whoops. Thankfully I realised before it was too late and they are just a tad lighter o_o

Taking aside the fact I didn't actually specify that, (please don't take non-existent words out of my mouth, thanks) you do realise I actually made arguments for both sides? A fair evaluation of something takes the negative and positive sides. Also I didn't state it as my opinion. Just as the other side of the argument.

hahahaha! I always carry Vaseline because sometimes I got flares of psoriasis on my lips (aka severely chapped) and I like to take care of them! ^___^; Bagpuss has been passed down from loads of people that worked in my office. My mother (Yes I worked with my mum!) had it at a time and she gave it to me when she left! ^^

Yeah it should help. You have to use your wrists/hands to keep momentum going, and the harder you rotate it the harder you have to work to keep it going. It's actually quite a skill to master. I found it difficult (but then I have quite severely arthritic wrists ) Probably something I should be doing more often.. Just stick your mp3 player on and spin away =D

Yes!!! Many times I've told my dad to get the frig out when I'm watching the TV
-
Yeah its mad. Absolutely tough on your wrists/arms. Makes you realise how weak your arms are when you use them! And the difference between your hands! =x (I got my father one for his birthday nearly a year ago and he still uses it!)

Christmas decorations XD I swear the tree being in the way of my in tray was unintentional. Normal day (minus work :P) I only just noticed the poor quality.. must be the light in my office =X My work desk is a mess, but its organised chaos, I swear! =D

I'm surprised no-one has posted this Top 10 Moments Caught on Google Maps I can see a facebook app appearing within the next few years if this is successful.... Cyber stalking just got scary. Suppose its useful in its ways, but not everyone wants to be tracked 24/7. But on the other hand you could say, if you have nothing to hide why worry about it.

I did 3 hours work on a report. Excel crashed (through no fault of mine - what do you expect on an archaic computer with 256mb ram) and I lost it all. Now I have to start it again tomorrow. Good job its not on a deadline. *cry*

i don't think thats a law, its company discretion. I know we wouldn't get paid, and I work for the NHS, they kinda have to stick to legislation.
-
Yeah I noticed they changed a while back. Maybe a few months ago.

I think I know what Molly is taking about. All the generic smilies (tongue face, smile etc) seem to have changed for weird ones that aren't used too often. A lot of them aren't loading too.

couldn't be further. Spin bikes - the kind of bikes that have solid wheels. Its a cycle routine with press ups and various exercise. Its a pretty hardcore class. Known for being impossible. /nando/, kudos on the weight loss!

And christmas doesnt make people feel isolated, like valentines day does to single people
