you have an all in one modem/router, that's broken... and you want to use the modem part of the current one? I'm 95% sure that won't work, and it may be the case that the modem bit is broken (or all of it) so your only real option is getting a replacement for it all.

rawrghdfhf. nearly killed a postie today was going down the road which was a 30 and changing to a 40, he must have seen me in the 30 zone and i then increased my speed (as you do) and he jumped out of the junction on me!! Had to slam the bloody brakes on (those emergency stops are so not the same as the test) and held the horn down for a while Damn post office, what are they, IRISH?!?! (guess the reference)

yeah exactly, how many years has it been? Minimal chances of her even being found alive. Yeah it sucks, there are evil people on this planet, but slurring the internet with her face is unlikely to do any good.. (not at this point anyway) (oh but don't forget the parents are doctors)

I'm starting to worry that theres something wrong with meeee. I'd been having what I thought was migraine attacks a lot recently, but its gotten to the point where my brain feels dead 24/7. ¬_¬ think ive got vertigo or something cause i can't do anything without feeling fuzzy in the head, to the point where I'm nearly passing out My boss had a go because apparently I was being sharp with my colleague, all I said was "I have no idea what you are talking about" when she said I was wrong. I was fucking right in the end but still was told. If said person would stop being so thick and actually communicate what she means rather than "putting this at the top" (when she meant putting an update into the additional info box) She's been there nearly as long as I and 1/should already know the protocol for updates, and 2/should be able to understand the system enough to communicate her problem. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Sam knows broadband check on your exchange, it lists the available providers and what service they provide. Every single area is different in my experience. Some companies have their own dedicated card in the exchange -like sky does with mine- and makes it a generally better/faster service.

and safer. I saw a clip on TV of someone parking up at a ticket reader, obviously had clutch at bite, no handbrake. Went to reach out the window to put ticket in, car lurched forward and took out the entire barrier. stupidity, but all it takes is a simple thoughtless second.

If you can lift the clutch and go without stalling, that's a diesel. If you have to stick the accelerator down before even moving (while bringing up the clutch) that's a petrol. What you learn as a "hill start" in a diesel is basically the ESSENCE of driving a petrol. handbrake on, acceleration, lifting clutch (all exact, and at the same time!) I'm a complete disaster in a petrol..

Agree with it all tbh. A car is a huge benefit in most jobs, you get looked at more favourably cause you can travel to courses, cover other bases, yada yada. Anything above baseline level really requires that you have a licence and car before you even get an interview. Thought it was pretty typical a Londoner saying that (no offence) but you live in the biggest city in Britain. I live in a mere town in Northern Ireland (even our own city fades in comparison to our mainland counterparts). Ballymena, even in the height of the spike in jobs, had little going for it (with most jobs being entry level min. wage, and with temping agencies) It is worlds apart from London. Like most places. We don't have an underground system that runs every 2 minutes.- 562 replies

You don't seem to get it, its not excuses at all. These days you need experience to work for no monies in a bloody charity shop.. "go and get it" isn't as easy as you are making it sound o_O- 562 replies

Doesnt sound like a virus It's detecting errors in the hdd when you boot? Have you tried running a checkdisk through your OS? Sounds like it could either be a corruption in the OS or the HDD is dying a death. Have you knocked it recently? Made any hardware or software changes?

to be fair, its different in different areas, some people have limitations (like no car no licence, not able to do certain jobs) so there's no need to point the finger as if people aren't trying. And some people come out of education with a degree (or sometimes even not) and have little experience... most companies won't touch you with a barge pole without experience. Used to be that you could get in with an agency and get a crappy job to get experience (thats what I did) but now they are even looking for experience.- 562 replies
