It might be Nintendo teasing us as well because exactly a year ago on that day is when the Xbox 360 lauch date and pricing was revealed.

I would think some of you would be more patient considering all the waiting we've been doing. So what if Online doesn't make it for launch, it's like you just need a reason to moan at Nintendo. I think the majority of us want to see what it's like to finally be playing Twilight Princess and if Metroid Prime 3 actually is the best in the series because of the new way we will be playing our games. Sudddenly now you're all concerned about online play, why? Will you have the same reactions if Nintendo says the Wii will not play DVDs? We went four years on our cubes without proper online play and videogames were still good. So what's wrong with waiting until next year when the yearly updates of these titles (CoD, Tony Hawks etc.) we're talking about will be released and that time they'll have online play which will make the games fresh experiences. This year the new control method will make these games fresh and hopefully it will make videogames better than ever.

I hate bumpmapping so much, I was just so over used in Doom 3 and Prey it just put me off. The small amount of bump maps that were used in Half Life 2 was good.

Well Nintendo are releasing Zelda, Metroid, Wii sports, Excite Truck and maybe Mario Galaxy and Wario Ware before Christmas. So maybe Wii Sports and Excite Truck are online?

Didn't somewhere say yesterday that at GDC to Wii's were being wirelessly connected for a LAN game of Battalion Wars? So we might not get Online from day one but maybe Red Steel or Super Monkey Ball may offer LAN multiplay. Anyway no online from day one doesn't bother me so much, that means I don't have to spend money on an online peripheral on day one.

This is a real bummer for people who really wanted some online action but I have a feeling by next Christmas that third parties will follow the example games like Smash Bros will have made and many titles will hopefully have online play.

I agree that it is a really good game but my heart was broken when I got to one point and I just couldn't proceed in the game anymore because of it's difficulty.

I swear to God if that isn't the day where Nintendo stops keeping secrets then I will cry.

Whatever you do DO NOT BUY NINJA GAIDEN. The game is actually quite good but it's just too darn hard, unless you're one of those psychos that enjoys Ikaruga, so stay away.

It's not fair it's getting so hard to be a Nintendo fan these days and they are still fucking with their fans. Maybe they'll announce the release date of Kingdom Hearts 2 in Europe today, that will cheer me up.

Hype has died for a lot of things Wii related recently, people although are showing enthusiasm for Twilight Princess at the moment which is good. I'm ashamed to say this thought but at the moment the game i'm really hyped up for at the moment is Kingdom Hearts 2 .

I think he means that this game is the true successor to Super Mario 64. I don't mind, TP is the game I want the most and maybe by Nintendo delaying the big guns, third parties can have some success aswell at launch.

What would be so funny is that the PS3 would sell out before the Wii due to shortages and the PS3 fans just said 'fuck it' and bought a Wii instead.

I've been thinking about this all day and i can finally say that i don't like the idea. I just can't think how this will suit the game without sword combat being first person.

If they re-release Star Fox Assault with on-line multiplayer and co-op which can also be online then i'll spend £100.

Nope, I just think Kojima really wanted Snake in the game.

I don't think anyone could have ever predicted that...

For some odd reason my Gamecube doesn't seem to like Metroid Prime anymore, i've completed the game 5 times and every now and then recently the game freezes up and I have to restart, luckily everything else works fine.

Luckily for you Sonic has a big chance of being in the game though. I've wanted a Cloud vs Link showdown for years now and there's still no chance of that hapenning.

The one thing i hate about myself is my insane curly hair, I don't mind the rest.
