I'm not so sure about the number underneath the logo, other than that that is one hot looking piece of hardware. I can only imagine now Nintendo releasing a gold DS Lite with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and the Triforce on top.

Thought i'd just revive this thread to say: I DID IT!!! Yep I managed to climb all the way up the side of the temple and explored the secret garden for anything special. Although my favourite part was actually crossing the bridge over to the edge of the world because there is a quite pleasant Easter Egg there. If anyone wants to know and cannot be bothered to climb the temple for themselves then read the spoiler...

I agree, point and clicking would most likely be very easy as long as the Wii-mote isn't too sensitive so it does not pick up the tiny vibrations that your hands make, precision must be quite important in a RTS so you don't cock up on what you're trying to select or where you're trying to send your troops to.

I like to give Pedrocasilva a compliment because he makes some of the best, most detailed and backed-up posts on these forums and also Retro-Lover for bringing the CSS clan together. Actually only one of those games is a sequel, the rest were released together like Pokemon, you can't blame them for using that method.

You'll find that the majority of those games were bought buy teenagers. Just because a game has adult appeal doesn't mean it's bad, look at Resident Evil 4, that game is disgusting a points but i don't see anyone complaining.

That's what i'm worried about aswell, i hope every level isn't a trek across a galaxy of small planets. Hopefully there'll be some massive planets that will come off as worlds.

The Average Gamer will definately think that the Wii is less powerful than the Xbox 360 and PS3, which is already true, because of its size. Heck, some people thought the PS2 was more powerful than the Gamecube because of its size even though it wasn't!

Actually Soul Calibur 2 sold the most on the Gamecube. It was a big shock to see the sequel on PS2. EDIT: Okay i understand you now booker.

Considering the fact that a Nintendo Official said that we should expect the date in September... No. I am starting to worry though that Europe will not get the Wii until next year. If that happens Nintendo better bloody release Zelda this year.

Spoilt idiot. Bloody hell, in the UK there are only two days of each year when you get presents: Your Birthday and Christmas. We don't have Thanksgiving or Independence Day and all the other rediculous holidays you yanks have. So be greatful you actually got something. You didn't even bother giving your family anything. I crapped myself when i first saw Event Horison, it was on sky movies at half ten so i thought i might aswell watch it since I had seen everything else on, and it turned out to be one of the best films i've ever seen.

I was just trying to get across a simple question: "Would your opinion be different if Nintendo's new console was different aswell, or would you be annoyed that Nintendo aren't focusing on gameplay?" They've made 4 games actually: Grabbed by the Ghoulies Conker: Live and Reloaded Kameo Perfect Dark Zero And Viva Pinata and most likely and new Banjo or Conker are in development aswell. Don't forget that Rare have also been making tons of Gameboy Advance and now Nintendo DS games.

Try Gamestation, they have retro sections in their shops so you could find Final Fantasy 7 there. If not try Amazon or Ebay.

Oh yeah and: I'm just asking would you still think this if Nintendo never decided to go down the path of making the Wii, would you actually be disagreeing with Nintendo if they decided to make an extremely powerful console like the PS3. Do you actually believe this, or do you say this because it is Nintendo's motive. What I mean is, Nintendo used to rule the gaming market perfectly fine with standard videogame controls, then the Playstation franchise took control because of it's extra multi-media functions, because it was more than just a games console. Nintendo have realised that with the Gamecube that they cannot 'win' by simply do the same thing as Playstation. Iwata has taken control of Nintendo very well, he has dropped the stubborness that Yamauchi possessed and has been able to repair and create new relationships with other companies. He has also realised that Nintendo are extremely good at introducing new methods of gameplay so maybe the could finally succeed if they make it their new consoles focus. At the cost of this Nintendo has had to sacrifice graphics for gameplay. Therefore Hellfire you are a fanboy of Nintendo because of the games they used to make. Then wouldnt you be a lot happier if they kept making the same games? No because remember what I have stated, you are a fanboy and you believe that everything that Nintendo does is right. I remember you telling me I was an idiot because I thought the name 'Wii' was crap, and the name actually still is crap. Just because Nintendo says playing = believing doesn't mean it's true. The Wii could be the saviour of Nintendo just as much as it could be its downfall. So don't predict that gaming is going to get very boring because the PS2 had a lot better games than the Gamecube and the PS3 could prove to be better than the Wii. Oh yeah and MGS4 is going to rock (now I just need £500 pounds...).
