The Wii version HASNT been toned down, he was talking about the game demo on the show floor - made it easier so everyone can get to the end!

It has got lock on but you dont have to use it. Similar to Prime as always then. I thought Matts hands on was very postive, just a few niggles. Of course its going to take time to get used to - he only had 10 mins!!

This game is just gonna be awesome, we all know it. For added lastability though I hope its got some awesome mutliplayer modes!! Also, I dont think all these games will be launch titles like we think. Remember Nintendo said there wouldnt be a game drought like with the cube, these will be slowly tickled out - fine by me. As long as WiiSports, Zelda, Mario Red Steel are launch titles I'm catered for.

A game where you smash everything up with a hammer....more mature? Yeah... Some peoples conceptions of more mature are wildly different to mine PS I know what you meant really PPS Yeah it looks a bit shallow, but I'm sure with the remote it'll be a lot fun. And with Nintendo doing its got to be awesome!!! A hammer version of Blastcorps will do me just fine - I loved the N64 version (please be on VC). I hope you can smash buildings down! In fact, I want EVERYTHING to be destructable

Also, remember those screenshots of Mario a while ago - where he was outisde a house - the must have been legit - one was where he was in space and the other was outside a house at night - that house looked VERYT similar to the one oin the trailer!

I was massively dissappointed with this - Im a massive fan of Excitebike and thisvfelt like a waste, it looked fast and fun but intially really average. However...after reading handson reports, it actually sounds really interesting, the control is meant to bebrilliant and really intuitive (are you listening Nintendork ) and one interesting feature is that there are loads of question marks, when you ride over this, terrain changes on the level, creating new routes and bigger jumps, it also effects otherraces when they are on said sections. As an example it was said that it was a fkat bit of road which suddenyl turns into a mountainside!!! This for me sounds awesome and scope for some great strategy and multiplayer races!!! Trust Nintendo......

I think its a car game of some variety. Also, anyone else think this is Ground Zero from Zoonami?

I mentioned it another thread, about controlling the players, and someone mentioned the Dpad. Well, unfortunately, its confirmed that the players AUTOMATICALLY go towards the ball This is a bit shit if you ask me. Oh well, im sure theyll be fun. I guess the Mario sports series will get the full treatment!!

Great stuff but disappointed a tad - I am stunned there wasnt even a mention of Smash Bros. Also very disappointed there was no Nights, Starwars, Capcom game, Konami game or any other EA game! Mario looked in-fucking-credible though, as did Disaster (that coupled with Project HAMMER very surprising for NIntendo). Starfox looked awesom, it is clearly a digfighting game though - hopefully wifi. It all felt a bit rushed for me - so much info and not enough time! I wanted more gameply footage, and I cant believe Mario wasnt played! Lastly do the players in Tennis automatically run towards the ball and you just swing? My feed cutout on that bit - looks awesome though - hope they're not 'too' simplified!! It was amazing and I cant wait, but I wish more was revealed - online service, 3rd party suuport (there was a worrying lack of it), shell, virtual console etc etc. Wii cant come soon enough - is a Mario trailer up yet!!?

Owen,why isnt that enough? You are going to be so disappointed. I dont what you're expecting but I doubt it will happen. Why int the greatest, most immersive controller ever that has a tilt-functional analogue attachment and makes its own sounds enough for you? Its certainly enough for me, more than I could ever imagine actually. Im pretty confident we know the revolution hardware now - its the software and online we dont know....yet!! Get excited but dont prep yourself for disappointment.

Owen, please dont expect a secret, youre setting yourself up for a big fall. The only announcements will be games and the online service, and be happy with that, the controller is the BIG thing about the revolution.

Another thing, please can people stop expecting something massive from NItendo now - we know all there is to know. Nkntendo didnt show us thevremote cause they have something bigger, they showed us the remote cause they had to - we would have bayed for blood! Dont expect 3d or any other delusional secret, expect what has already been revealed - the greatness will be the execution of the rmeote and all the new games that will be seen and announced!!

I'm playing devils advocate here, im pretty pissed off, I was contemplating getting a PS3, but today I said to my mate if they rip off the Wii, I just cant get it, morally I just cant. I fucking hate the arrogant fuckers - digging at NINtendo for being gimmicky and then ripping it off!!! I really hope they get found out. I hope people hate them for this. I hope developers dont use it. I hope it isnt as good as the Wii controller. I want them to fail with the PS3 and I want them to do it in fucking style!

Anyone seen Matt from IGNs blog? The other day it said Mario to only be shown in video form (in his E3 predictions). Now it sys next to it - er, maybe not. He clearly knows its going to be playable now - this is so obvous though, Nintendo have always said they dont wantvshow games, they want people to play them, or see them being played. I knew Mario would be playable, we all knew it! How come he thought it was only to be a video!? Anyhoos!! Expect big Mario news!!

This is great if true, what has this guy got right before? Do you guys think it will be a lightsaber duelling game or a starwars adventure which has lightsaber duels? My worry is that, like with the DS, a lot of the first batch of games will be nice demo's but a little off a fully developed game - ie. Yoshi Touch and Go, Pac-Pix, Feel The Magic etc.

That twilight princess isnt letting the cat out of the bag, a few nintendo reps have confirmed this was the case - Shigsy definitely has. WarioWare is a new one though, pretty obvious but still great. And Tennis!??! Oh god, this sounds awesome. Realise how awesome it is Sega and Bring Virtua Tennis 3 to The Wii! I think you are getting it confused with 100 Marios - that wasnt Mario 128. NOTHING has been seen of MAriov128 as far as I am aware. Though is Mario 128 isn't playable I will be shocked - it has to launch the system, and Nintendo want people to play the games so surely they won't contradict this belief with their most prized asset. Can't wait to see it!

SO what about the 'shell'? Couldnt they have just used that for the extra buttons? I just think they wanted to do something new with the franchise and I appluad them for that.

I cant wait for this to be finally over, Ive cancelled meetings and workshops so I can watch this live. I'm hoping a lot of games are announced by 3rd party's; obviously NIntendo are going to have lots of exciting software, but we really need to see support - if BigTac is right then Tuesday is going to be a very happy day for us here.

What is this 'real' force feedback business? It is impossible for me to swing the remote as a lightsaber and the remote stop me in my swing when it hits another lithgsaber in-game!! That is what people are saying right? That it can actually move your arm? Okay, a more forceful rumble or shock or whatever, but it simply cant be 'that' strong!
