Yeah, don't know what the problem is. Nearly 100m downloads on iOS only, great for brand awareness, one of their goals, made 30m in a very short period of time. Whilst not succumbing to the disgusting trends of IAP and providing a quality expeirence. All sounds pretty perfect to me.

It being sold out. Hard to get and sort after would be a very good start for nintendo wouldn't it? After next week all sorts will have clear bundles, I really don't think it'll be hard to get one for launch if we order in the next few weeks.

I'd imagine Splatoon is Nintendos Titanfall, though you never know one of their second party developers creating one. Is it more new games than the style of nintendo then. So for example if they did Donkey Kong Racing instead of a news mario kart; is that "new" (forgetting Diddy Kong Racing of course). I'm hoping with them releasing boosted version of mario kart and smash it frees up those development teams to create something new! And hopefully them not making two kirbys, two yoshis, two marios, two zeldas etc to support two devices means we'll see lots of new IP and Reboots.

All of the Room games are amazing. Monument valley is a must. If you like football the football manager mobile games are very very good. The three Go games are excellent too (Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex). Agent A is a good point and click puzzle game. Framed. Her Story. Rayman Jungle Run. Carcassonne. Plague Inc. Mario Run....

Does new mario and new Zelda not interest/excite you? Obviously Splatoon is their newest IP, did that not interest you? If not to any of that, then surely it's almost impossible for nintendo to interest you now isn't it? What could they do for your tastes other than change completely?

Do you think the game would benefit from a touchscreen? It appeals to me a lot, but like Hero I'll probably get it for Switch due to portable factor. Touch screen controls would make it even better.

Rayman port is bizarre. Reeks of a lazy cash in, however great the game is, which it is. All sounds good still though; not long now. There is a big danger of knowing everything in advance though! As for EA, I would say please don't release any old games at all at launch. Wait for FIFA 18 and such.

That doesn't even make any sense. If the box art says 24 tracks, 16 news ones doesn't fit into that in anyway... I think it's pretty clear it's 8 new new tracks and 4 new new characters.

Can I just say I called Hybrid instantly, and also suggested a while ago about it having VR for a 3 in 1 console... #insider Anyways, Mario Kart Switch box art says - 'All New Battle Mode - 24 new tracks - 10 new characters' Does that include DLC?! If not then that is incredible!!

I'll definitely be watching live, can't wait, I just hope what they don't discuss doesn't detract from everything they do. A good launch line up, a nice roll out of games for the next few months (presume they'll save the bed of the year for e3), Vc looking amazing, some nice indies on the eshop, party chat for kav, and fantastic miiverse, social features and I'll be happy! I think there will be an achievement system of sorts, but can't see it tracking all the games in one system. Think it'll be like Mario run no miitomo, there are missions, you get coins, but that's it.

Yeah, I think the past few years have been the worst in gaming in my life time or be honest. The GameCube/ps2 era was the one that made me fall out of love with gaming a little, but not because of the industry or state of gaming, just burnout, finishing un I think. But I've not loved much the past few years outside of nintendos offerings. Hate a lot of the practices which hero mentioned. I'm mainly loving retro games to be honest, which is fine by me. Here's a breakdown of my platforms for completed games TOTAL: 37 3DS - 12 iOS - 8 Wii U - 6 PSVR - 4 NES Mini - 4 PS4 - 3 I haven't completed a game on the vita for over 2 years now, I played through half of gravity daze. Definitely going to sell it, definitely the worst purchase for me personally. I actually quite like the device and there's some good games, but for me, and my lack of time, my sensibilities, I've definitely not got much out of it at all. Shame. Saying this, I am actually very excited for the switch. And psvr to be honest. I think it fits into exactly what I want out of gaming, and fits into my life and how busy it is and with a kid and such.

All anecdotal I guess. Barring on here, I don't know anyone who thinks it looks good. At best it 'doesn't bother' people. But most agree it sits more than comfortably in uncanny valley. I'd also say that most reviews that mention it say something negative about it rather than positive, but again, could just be the reviews I've read. Also, if it did look as good as it needs to be, seamless, I think there'd be a huge huge fuss about it from Disney.

Im sorry what assumptions have I made on what you can and can't do? Also, is it possible to have a different opinion to someone without them getting painfully defensive and go on the attack. So incredibly dull. Yeah I know that, but takin is also in Episode 3 played by a different actor. But my main point is they're happy to use another actor for a role, they should do the same across the board; not pick and choose. I imagine they did it to show off - look what we can do and make a big big deal of it, but it looks rubbish so they're not really hyping it up. The rubber suits are great and ultimately fit into the world, the alien characters are CG/Suits; that fits; but to mix CG humans with real humans is the problem, they don't sit alongside each other.

You recognised the voice from the guy from Holby City? Impressive you can tell a voice from a naff soap opera yet can't see a cartoon character mixing with humans I think the CG, while technically impressive, is really terrible; most people I know (and most reviews have said) that it is pretty bad. Good some can't see it though I guess. Maybe, I feel after the original changes backlash they wouldn't want to touch it; doubt it'd help though; it was a stupid idea to go through with it... Never mind the fact it's terrible, it's a hideous gimmick too; Mon Mothma is in the original film too, why didn't they do the same with her? You create a rule you stick to it.

I think the nativity stems from the fact that they look like CG characters, not real humans, and it is insanely jarring. What makes it worse is it is completely unnecessary. The CG is only going to look worse over time too.

Yeah mines gone through now. My place has awful reception so I think it wasn't coming through, I got impatient, asked for another code, the old one came through, tried that, failed. Anyways, sorted, phew!
