  1. I think Nintendo are in big big trouble. Voice chat for select games. Through an app? Everything over priced? Clearly underpowered and barely any 3rd party support. Not loads of games Shown. New games look limp. They're going to struggle massively. Especially in the U.K. But Zelda looks insanely good.
  2. I definitely will; don't know about chat though, may just want to watch it and engage with it and chat about it afterward. Plus the whole chat will probably just be you saying "Where's party chat? I'm not buying it without party chat? Where's part chat? WHERE'S PARTY CHAT!!?!??!"
  3. Yeah I just had a gander at the list, pretty underwhelming to be honest... And that fighting game, great series, but THAT version?! (Saying that it was the version I played and loved the most)
  4. That's why I'm not worried
  5. Not worried. NES classic was scarce and that wasn't difficult to get!
  6. I really really don't think it's going to be a problem getting one. All the preorders will go up on Friday, they'll already have it on all their systems. I'll order with shop to and amazing probably and figure things out closer to the launch.
  7. So it's just silly then...? Never seen their betting show, are the genuine bets but thembeing silly. Or are they just stupid bets?
  8. Is it just being silly or a genuine discussion?
  9. Yeah, this thing most definitely won't have an ethernet port. I don't care. I detest wires.
  10. Do we always have to resort to sarcy replies to have digs at each other? No history? Do you know who the first British club to win a European trophy was? But this isn't what I mean. I'm just saying there should be an earlier round for the smaller clubs and the winners of this go through. Is that really such a bad idea? Do you want premiere league clubs to start the FA Cup in round 1 too? That may be so, I borderline hate international football now and know a lot of people feel the same, but yeah, the awful England set up of the last 10 or so years doesn't help. But just feel there are too many games, interrupts the premiere league too much, and do teams really get a kick out of battering San Marino and such constantly? Do THEY get anything out of it? Wouldn't it be better for smaller teams to be in groups of teams closer to their level, maybe then they could get some goals, get some wins etc And develop and grow before progressing.
  11. Awful idea. There are too many god awful teams in the qualifying rounds. Personally I think it should be like the FA Cup, all these really low ranked, part time national teams play each other, and reduce the qualification groups for the higher ranked teams. Bit harsh maybe, but it's pointless and part of the reason people have fallen out of love of the national game. Expanding it will make it even more appalling. Just look at how respected the Europa league isn't. When any two bob team can get in, it reduces how special it is.
  12. I've never loved it love it. It's very good, brilliantly written and directed, but way too pretentious for me. I (in all seriousness) prefer elementary, much trashier, not as 'classy' but great mindless entertainment. Season 3 was abysmal of Sherlock, but actually the new season is very very good. Tonally still la lot off as always, but been quite impressed. Definitely worth giving this season a go.
  13. And I'm in the EA please wait camp. Give us party FiFA 18 and see how it does. none of this bullshit you pulled with the wii and wii u I was going to say I was a changed man, but then thought about the wii u and I own all Nintendo games barring Tennis (which I owned then sold) and Xenoblade X. (Edit: Don't have Paper Mario or Pokken either... amazon prime time!!) I almost have a full collection of Nintendo games on Wii U. Thinking about 3DS I bet I'm not far off.... I've decided I'm going to try and get every single Nintendo published game.... I'm about to move house and that bedroom my girlfriend doesn't know yet I'm bagging for myself isn't going to fill itself...
  14. Tricky one, obviously we don't want every surprise now but at the same time, I'm sorting of feeling in depth looks at launch games then, a trailer for a couple of bog games this year, then a trailer reel of loads of games to get everyone excited!!!
  15. Yeah, I stopped touching Badge Arcade because I'm just presuming it's 3DS only so what's the point. Came was too late the life, but if it's for switch too then perfect, happily dive back in!
  16. As for what the switch isn't. I really hope after Friday, people have their bitch and moan, and than accept for the switch is. Or not accept, but at least move on. If it isn't for you, fine, if it is, great. But I hire all these Nintendo need a PS4 Pro powered machine, or I wish I wasn't forced a handheld, etc etc It is what it is, Nintendo are doing what they feel they must do to carve out a business.
  17. As sona s I heard I thought Fire Emblem too, absolute no brainer and then free up intelligent systems to make Switch Wars!!! As soon as I read it I thought no party chat or extensive online/sharing features!!! I said this a bit ago about PS4 owners saying no 3rd parties is a deal breaker. Makes no sense!!! However, if it does have 3rd parties I'll buy them all on the switch over PS4 easily! Probably even if they're slightly gimped too!!! Plus think about Nintendo mlitplaye titles, people want online/sharingchat on those!!
  18. Yeah, was just reaffirming it. I'm excited to see what Nintendo can do with VR, but playing modern games on it feels almost impossible. But maybe they'll go for hyper stylised simpler games; which would be fine actually... Who knows. Maybe we'll never see it. It being a 720p screen also makes me wonder how it'll be like strapped to your face...
  19. I don't know about the details and how it works, but the PSVR does struggle a bit with VR and it is surpassingly low res and underpowered compared to normal games. I mean I don't care, I still really like it, but it feels like it's very early on and struggling technically a touch.
  20. Shouldn't people just look and say - the switch has all the games I do/don't want to play and that's how I'll make my decision. Not - yeah it has all these amazing games I can't play on any other device but, you know, it's not as powerful as a PS4... I just can't believe that many people think like that. Are people that stupid?!
  21. The switch selling point is it being a 2 in 1 console and the Nintendo exclusives. What counters that is the negatives - how much 3rd party? Will it have the social and online services modern gamers want? How gimped is the portable bit? Will it have enough first parties to cater for fans? I'm confident this thing is going to be immense in every way. Except party chat!
  22. The difference is most publishers want to release the games at a certain date - say autumn for an assassins creed or whatever. And that game will come out then whatever state it is in. Nintendo (and some others) will only release the game when it's ready rather than some abitrary date. This game has taken a lot longer to make as we've seen and it seemed for a worldwide release it wouldn't be ready in time for the launch, hence all the rumours of it being delayed. The last bit is the translations into all the languages. Now if Japan and America think, hang on, we can actually release it and it'd be useful, so why should we wait. I mean. It makes so much sense, it may be screwing people over, but it makes sense. I don't know how the situation can be any more clear. But I don't think it's even true, but I can see how the situation could play out. It's not that baffling. And comparing to other publishers just doesn't work. Games get delayed all the time, the argument against it shouldn't be - well other publishers can release their games on time, the assumption is they just need more time to make it better.
  23. I think this, if it's true, is a different case though. Nintendo would want to release Zelda worldwide, of course they would, but if they are struggling with all the translations, then rather than delaying japan and America they just delay Europe. I mean, it makes a lot of sense. if it's true. Which I don't think it will be.
  24. Spurs showed everyone how to beat Man City, now we have Chelsea. Obviously amazing for me, but I think good for the league too; let's close it up and get competitive.
