I mean specifically the main hardware launch, I was conscious to be particular about not allowing room to discuss software. PSVR is great, better than PS4 itself to be honest but its something different. I'm not saying neither ever do anything; I'm jut saying with regards to the main hardware, Nintendo is the only one who tries different things and pushes the boundary of what a console is and can be; that's it. Most of the things you're arguing is nothing to do with my point. And considering the Sony pads are the most horrific pads out of all makers, I wish they did change it up.

During the conference I was thinking - Nintendo what the fuck are you doing (think I thought something similar during nintendoland and splatoon) but hearing more about, people seem to love it and you can turn motion off (though I'll play with it on most of the time I reckon) I'm looking forward to it. After the initial disappointment I'm back t being mega excited. Ordered an extra pair of joy cons because I couldn't decide whether to get grey or the coloured ones... Having read more and watched far far too many youtube videos, it seems with regards to the console and games it's all mega positive - it's the prices, worrying online potential and lack of launch games and 3rd parties) that people seem to hate. Understandable. Nintendo really fucked up the messaging on this. If they came out and said they are releasing a few titles at launch and having steady releases which they'll announce at a later time, I think we'd be fine. I almost wish they said NOTHING about online until they could tell us everything. Prices... well... That is just bizarre. Ultimately though, Zelda could be one o the best games every and looks far far superior on the switch (anyone seen the comparison videos?), snupperclips looks amazing, bomber man looks great and more and more I think if Arms has a single player campaign and far more characters than that could be fanatstic. Even FAST sounds great, it's meant to have 30 new tracks in the game and runs at 1080p 6FPS solidly. 60 tracks in total. It's decent! Then Mario Kart, I can play at work, it sounds great!

It's fine people not liking them or whats on offer, but things like this feel a little off. Sony and MS literally do the same thing that console gaming has done for nearly 30 years on the hardware front - Same old, more power. The Sony pad has barely changed since PS1. Saying Nintendo don't push boundaries when they're the only ones doing different thins is really really harsh. May not like it, but the switch IS pushing boundaries, the Wii U did too to an extent. You may not like it, but I think it's the wrong criticism.

About the price, I think that is a placeholder. Bombermans too. They said for both that prices would be announced later. I'm actually quite looking forward to this. As long as the price is reasonable. Which it could easily not be.

One of the best things about the switch is that it's a handheld too. They can't release another handheld, it would kill the switch. They need to just put all their resources into developing for the switch.

This is £40 isn't it? If there are 50+ games it could be decent. Just don't know what single player content they could do... still can't believe it's not bundled in.

What's the rrp on PS4/xb1 games?

Ordered a switch (well 5 currently, need to figure out what I'm doing), pro, Zelda, wheels and accessories. I'll hopefully get bomberman too as long as it's under £30. I think if online isn't quite as bad as it sounds and they announce shed loads of games at e3. It MIGHT sell well. But as things stand this could be a huge bomb!! Shame as it looks incredible.

It says 6 mini games, but that sounds so pitiful considering what they are. Could there be lots and lots more potentially? Don't know if you saw menus or anything.

The battle mode looked amazing, thankfully. Had a great idea, did the wii do this. So you have 5 balloons, if you lose all 5 your score gets halved. Greta seeing the feather again, great seeing Battle Mode 1 from SNES. Surely there's an N64 arena in there!! They said there were extra multiplayer modes they aren't talking about, so if there's extra modes, could there be extra race tracks? Hope so. Paying £50 again will be along with a huge eye roll, but I'll do it, the game is too good and having it on a handheld too appealing. Slightly worrying Splatoon says chatting online, but Mario kart doesn't... Why would Nintendo pick and choose which game? They have such a convoluted method, such strict parental controls, yet still don't add it to every game?!

Fuck me it just gets worse and worse.... 5 launch line up games including Indies....!??! This has to be one of the most staggering days for Nintendo.... What have they been doing for the past 3 years? Are 3rd parties/Indies making games at all? Is there loads we don't know? It's bonkers the biggest fuck up with the wii, 3ds, wii u was game droughts and a steady flow of games... I Just don't understand what is happening!
