Because it's logical and what people on these very boards have said, you can play all third parties on your PS4; why would those very same 3rd parties you can already play be a deal breaker on the Switch? Surely for PS4/Xbox owners, the ultimate pull is the exclusives no?! I understand people being annoyed for the fear it could damage Nintendo, or for Nintendo only gamers etc. But people who can already play those games, why would they care? That may have been why you were saying it, but you were obviously implying the equivalent games of today, otherwise why bring those games up at all, because what does it matter if I enjoyed playing them, can't play them on anything so your point is useless. I had a Gear and a Lynx; they definitely were competitors to it, especially the game gear. As for this news, disappointing, but unsurprising. I find it quite bizarre how PS4 owners are now saying as it's underpowered they may not get 3rd parties.... why would you care? You already have a machine for that. The switch would surely be for Nintendo games and that doesn't change because it's a little less powerful than originally rumoured.

So Steamworld Heist is had price in the sale on Thursday. I'm buying it; but wondered how the 25% off Nintendo reward works, would it be 25% off the sale price?

It wasn't particularly aimed at you by the way. And that's fine if you think it's fine. And people can complain. But so can I; works both ways. And again, you call it over charging and I call it people being paid for their work, if you think £8 is too much money for it then that's fine; but I bet you also agreed with Amazon in wanting to lower the price of books so much when publishers/authors (oh, and apple) were against it and wanted to charge higher price?! (don't know if you're aware of that "war" from a few years ago). Personally, I think artists should be paid well for their work; otherwise it will hurt us in the long run. Think the same about journalists too, they got screwed over and look what happened this year. But why should people pay for news when they can get it for free on most sites, twitter etc eh?

@Sheikah, in all honesty, do you genuinely think IAP is good and Nintendo should move towards that and not be strong in their position and have value for their product; fight against it. may inspire others to do the same. Do you genuinely not applaud Nintendo for that? I can't believe anyone doesn't think Nintendo are doing a good thing, irrespective of "business" (why should we give a shit just how many millions Nintendo make anyway) I guess I didn't mean it quite as direct as that, more the minute of not using "business" as a way to make your decisions, particularly in creative mediums. Massive Hollywood blockbusters make loads of money too, should everyone do that or they're criticised? Should art house filmmakers be lambasted? You can pick any art form, I won't go on. Yet here we are, slagging Nintendo because they are doing something a different, which *may* not be as profitable, but certainly good for business and standing up against the hideous pricing structures of mobile gaming. And people slag them, people who should value combatting IAP which is completely anti-consumer and I would say forces bad game design to see people paying that money!

I don't care of it's political or business, we shouldn't hide behind popularity when forming our own opinions on something. Selling dodgy mortgages was "just business" but we can still have an opinion on it; just found it so bizarre people were justifying something just because "it's the way it is". And of course movie has done a lot of good, I play lots and lots of mobile games, but I think there's a huge problem when all the top grossing games are all free, and people complain when they have to pay for a game, and even people here, long time gamers, are complaining about Nintendo charging too - that is not good. It really isn't good.

I can't believe what I'm reading... People are arguing that because it's the done thing, or because a lot (or even most) people like it then it's a good thing and Nintendo should get "in touch". It's some of the most idiotic posts I've read on here.... The nazi party were pretty popular, most people voted for Brexit, Trump is in power; most people thought women shouldn't vote and gay marriage shouldn't be a thing. The fact a lot of people, or most people think something DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!!! Why don't people stop hiding behind popular thought and have their own opinions?! There's an idea. You think free to play and IAP is really great for the industry, fine, argue it, intellectualise it, saying "well it's popular and people want it" makes me groan so much... such a lazy cheap way of thinking and discussing of the issue. And people criticising Nintendo for charging so much and not understanding the market.... fuck me... Let's see shall if it was the wrong decision; hasn't started too badly has it! Free to play and IAP is damaging gaming, more so the mindsets of gamers; Nintendo should be applauded for challenging it and refusing to play along; not criticised. I think they will, but it's very fickle to declare not being able to see any other possibility because of this amazing run. People were thinking Conte was going to be sacked after the first half a dozen games. Things can change quickly! People thought Man City were invincible at the beginning of the season! Until spurs played them...

Crazy talk, long long long way to go. I think Chelseas complete lack of shots on target will end up undoing them; they can't be this clinical the whole season. Spurs will break them in January like we broke "invincible" Man City who haven't recovered since we demolished them.

You can add people via twitter and Facebook or a direct link, so that 'code' is very misleading, that's just a general code so people can add. However, not being able to add from friends list or miitomo is a bit stupid. I will say though that it is very impressive actually, loads of reply value, the high scores are great, toad rally seems good. Great stuff.
