This is the game I'm most looking forward to all year, well...behind Wii Music (!) Ingenious way of doing Sonys Press conference too - Nintendo-esque some would say

Bit harsh, though slightly true. I think Nitendo are working on a LOT of WiiWare games to be honest, I really do. Kid Icarus, Punch Out, Mario Galaxy 2, Zelda Wii, Pilotwings, Fzero.....there my bet! I think Pilotwings will be there next big bridge title for next xmas - can see the game translating well, lots of minigames almost set on an island (the one from Wii Fit) -

That really is 100% the games for Wii in 2008, no surprises 2. There WILL be some 1st party WiiWare games I just see it as riding the rest 2008 out and then hope 2009 can give me the games I want.

I didn't snap. Out of the games that excite me (surely hobbies should be exciting), and this is presuming they live up to potential: - Samba De Amigo - Guitar Hero 4 - Deadly Creatures - SW: Force Unleashed - De Blob - Wario Land That's it. And it wouldn't surprise me if most of them end up disappointing. I don't mean to moan, or be negative (I'm usually insanely positive about all things Wii); but I have to say that I think for the last 6 months in the Wii's 2008 release schedule - that is diabolical! PS Sould Calibur Legends?!?!? Is this a joke?

Did I say this game looks incredible? Though I think its looks fantastic. I said it's going to be an incredible 2009, and although I hope it is, I was more joking at the fact that all good Wii games are coming next year, not this. Anyways, i own all three consoles so I'm not blinded and I know the next gen FPS very well, hell, that's ALL the 360 has ( ). For me control wins every time, and generic? You can't get more generic than Halo 3 Some are great though, personally, Conduit has the potential to be up there with the best of them, enhanced by incredible control.

Do we live in a one or the other world do we? It wouldn't have been hard to have both would it? And people been complaining about 3rd party games, but we're getting the same 3rd party games we've known about for months, and they still complained It's not as if we've had a 3rd party announcement is it? And the best 3rd pary games are coming NEXT year - Rune Factory, Conduit, mad World. Theres a few 3rd party games I'm interested in, but NONE of them are even close to the quality of what Nintendo produce. Fact is, my gaming is a little empty in 2008. Theres a few games I'm excited about across all 3 platforms, but it's underwhleming to say the least.

I think we should just admit that we're not getting anything other than Animal Crossing (groan) and Wii Music (snigger) this year! 3rd parties all the way!!!!!

Huh, secret rings is the best sonic game since sonic 3 WHats so shit about it? And worst game ever? You need to play more games mate.....either that or you are very strict with what you buy and play!

You're right this was the ONLY really good piece of software shown.......and it's not even coming out this year!! I hope each game on the pack is complete, it needs to be WAY more than Wii Sports was. I expect each of the games to be almost complete within themselves - so jet ski SHOULD have lots of courses yes, and weather, and time trials etc. Pretty much the same as Wave Race would have been anyway without the graphical wizz. I mean, a few can be really Wii Sports-esque simple - Disk Dog and Sword Fighting for example can be fine just being what they are. But there needs to be a handful that a more like complete games.

Okay. Disappointment aside. Hopefully there's a LOT we don't know about. Lets list this things we would like to REALISTICALLY see in the game: - I hear theres a theatre to watch shows. I would love it if there was a movie edit feature where you coudl use the animals and characters from your personal town, create a little scene with typed in dialgue and these are ths hows we see when we go to the theatre. Randomly selected from around the world, but we see the name of the person, their town etc. - I would like our designs to be randomly sent to other peoples villages, and if they buy the designs, the money gets sent to us and we get told who bought them. - The auction room sounds like it has amazing potential. Please don't limit it to friends only. OR.....once a month have a wordwide auction - MUCH more of a farming side to the game, I love the trees, but its very simple and basic, after a week or two, you have the whole set and thats that. Lots more trees, lots more veg etc. On top of this I wouldn't mind seeing a cooking aspect to the game, create meals....but I think this is a bit much - The comic store again holds great potential. It would be great if you could buy comics and trading cards and then obviously actually trade them with each other to try and get the whole set - The ability to REALLY transform the town. Add remove buildings bridges, raise and lower land etc. Even if it took AGES of in game days, would be great. - The multiplayer to have proper competitions. and loads more to do. Would it be that hard to create a little football pitch and have a game of footy? Or lots of sports? Would be amazing to have lots of minigame type things to do, and obviously play them in mulitplayer - For the things you buy to be more interactive. Buy an arcade machine? Play it. Get a basketball ring on the outisde of your house, be able to go for shots in it etc etc. What do you guys think?

I know I can buy other games I know I don't have to buy it!! Read my posts fully and not just get a sense of the general tone. Nintendo games have a sense of class and magic only they seem to provide, I love their games, thus, I'm disappointed I (probably) won't have said games to play this year. Its a bizarre situation and very unlike most years of being a fan of their games. And, how many times do I have to explain that I know I dont have to buy it, but i was particularly excited about this game and its come as a massive disappointment to me. Why am I not allowed to express this without people saying "Don't buy it then!". Thats not my point, a complete miss of opportunity is my point HELLFIRE: I have Cooking guide and Jam Sessions, both excellent at what they do, I understand their purpose. please read my post as to why I feel Wii Music DOESN'T feel it fulfills the purpose. Please guys, can we debate these games. Don't just say - dont buy it then, its not a game its a toy, blah blah blah. Why don't you read the posts and tell us why you feel it being a toy is a good thing, and if you think it sounds good WHY. Thats what a forum is for isn't it? I defend Nintendo better than the best, but I'll also show my disappointments and frustrations. Some of you act like we're not allowed to be annoyed at them.

But the fact it's not casual isn't the factor with this game, its that all the fun has been taken out of playing instruments. INstruments are fun to LEARN. That's what is rewarding, and when you play/create music you it feels GREAT because you know that you were responsible for that. But this game takes away learning anything, it takes away the feeling that YOU ARE PLAYING the music. You can do ANYTHING and the music will play, you just change it a little.

What TOYS do they have on the DS? And you're right, don't like it, don't buy it. But whats annoying is 1. I was really excited about this game, it not being even close to what I thought it was going to be is disappointing. 2. There is a strong possibility this is the only game Nintendo are releasing in Europe in the last 3 months of the year! I know Nintendo are working on lots of traditional games, but are they coming out this year other than Wario Land? I hope all this E3 is for mass market talk is true and next month in Germany they unveil these games, but after they said "Wait for E3" and we all was left feeling disappointed, I'd rather air on the side of pessimism and presume they are infact, not releasing anything other than Wii Music and possibly Animal Crossing before Xmas.

The only game I ACTUALLY want from Nintendo this year. Doesnt look amazing, but a good retro wario land title will be good fun. Havent heard a bad word about it

The game s completely as predicted then. Pointless shit!! And this could be the ONLY game Nintendo release on the whole of autumn winter in Europe!! It just gets worse!! Nintendo SURELY have something else, they have to; they'll unveil something next month, it doesnt make any sense not to.

Okay.....so Madworld is out 09, Wii Sports 2 '09...... I'm not bashing or flaming here but WHAT games do we have coming out this year? Animal Crossing - don't want Wii Music - No thanks Guitar Hero 4 - yes please Tiger Woods - yes Fifa/Pro Evo - yes Is Rune Factory coming out? Anything else? PS I will be buying Wii Music and AC but only because I am stupid, they wont eb the experiences I want them to be and I am not particularly looking forward to them......except the drumming bit!

You mean the amazing film brain dead. The last good Peter Jackson film (well Heavenly Creatures was alright actually). I think this game is sounding great, a flawed gem of a game on the 360, if they can iron our the flaws and keep the gem then GREAT! And with the much superior motion controls, we may be onto a winner!!!

I really hope this game is as amazing as the promise. It IS out for xmas isn't it? I'm really excited for this game!

I'm getting desperate, i'd accept ONE quality Nintendo game for xmas!!! Last year we got Metroid AND Mario....this year we get nothing.....truly bizarre!!!
