Would you say Sim City 2000 is better than this game, you know, the one you don't really know much about ()? Because for me, Sim City 2000 was the best one, so if it's as basic as that then fine with me!

What constitutes a 'proper' Sim City' game? Whats this missing? Hope nothing too drastic....

And I am worried about King and Woodgate, both world class cb's, but not going to play full seasons. Dawson is good, not great, but yeah, we need a new CB, I will be gutted if we don't sign one in the summer, think we will though, and that elusive DM. Though Huddlestone ISN'T one, not by a strecth, incredible passer of the ball, but shit defensively, more of a playmaker. If we don't get a DM, I think we'll play 5 in midfeld and crowd the midfield as a defensive tactic, which is fine with me. Modric and Jenas can sit in the middle, both box to box. Why? I hope its because you're saying they WON'T be fit because they're injury prone and NOT because you don't think they're absolute class. Trust me, a back 5 of Gomes, Hutton, King, Woodgate and Bale is EASILY top 4 material. My worry is that Ramos is moving Bale to left mid.... We'll see. And tapedeck, trust me, we don't need Tainio or Malbranque (wouldn't have minded keeping Malbranque though), we have way too many midfielders as it is. IF we don't get any more defensive players then I would say we could have done with Chimbonda, but I think we will get one in so we'll be fine. This game has a lot of potential to be amazing; but god is that trailer annoying. Why must, on all wii adverts, the people look like complete gimps? Who plays their Wiis with their arm fully out stretched pointing at the screen? Who plays their Wiis with an inane grin, especially when you doing something so smile-inducing as laying down a road. I'm sorry, but the biggest concentration face and your tongue coming out your mouth is the only face people we'll be pulling doing stuff like that! But the games looks pretty good, really like Sim City games, really liked what they did on the DS and really hope they nail this!

But we have those games! We just have all the shit as well! Galaxy is better than sunshine. MK Wii is better than Double Dash. Metroid is AS good as Prime 1. Twilight Princess is better than Wind Waker. There are loads of quality titles on the Wii, but people seem to just look at the shit and ignore everything else. It's like the great titles are getting hidden, but they are there!

What are you on about man. What the fuck is a core gamer? Please tell me. I have played games since the ZX Spectrum and have owened every home computer, handheld and home console since then. I spend probably over a hundred pound a month (AT LEAST) on games and play them most days of my life. For me, I would say I was a core gamer. I have Excitetruck and I also have Motostorm on the PS3 and Flatout on the 360 (the games most similar). I would play Excitetruck hands down over the others!!! What do you mean 'offer the core gamer'? What does that mean? Surely if a game is great to play then that should be a pretty decent starting point. Or does a core gamer like games that take at least 100 hours to see everything in the game?!?!! What is it, because somewhere over the past 5 years I seem to have been confused as to its meaning I was only joking

I hear you, but EA have been so good on Wii I'm optimistic for a best of all worlds with the Wii version (I actually really enjoyed Fifa 08 Wii). And also I'm glad they're ripping off Pro Evo as I don't really want to play another football game that doesn't have a control method like that. Also, I think the Mii Footii looks really good, quite like a good bit of arcadey fun; I loved STRIKER on the SNES which had the a 5 a side football mode too

Huh, thats an ADDITIONAL mode, it's still got the simulation mode. I haven't read anywhere that they have compromised this in favour of the Mii Footii thing, thats an extra thing for the Wii, that haven't gimped anything for it though. For me, we haven't heard enough about the main game though, really want to see who the Pro Evo cotrols stack up. Surely it can be as good, at least. Just rip it off and that'll do. As long as the AI is better and the team are all up to date then I'll be happy enough.....if they make it better though.....hmm!!!
