  4. Ready salted Hula Hoop and mayonnaise sandwiches are sandwiches of KINGS. Seriously, I'd serve it up for royalty. It's that awesome.
  5. H&M mainly. 25% staff discount ftw.
  6. They do make them but they're probably sickeningly hard to find. Along with being ridiculously expensive - the right handed go for £2000 now, so I imagine it'll be a few quid more than that!
  7. Thanks! It's such an awesome bass to play. I love playing gigs with it too, it growls and thunders the place down! Also made cooler by it being 'the Scott Pilgrim' bass...
  8. My friend decided to let me borrow his American Telecaster while he goes to Toronto for a year. Amazing! It's a pretty sweet guitar to play. Alongside my Rickenbacker...
  9. Already posted this in 'What Have You Bought?' but what the hell: Amazon decided it'd be an awesome idea to send an extra set of the Scott Pilgrim books to me! Sorry, before anyone asks, I've already got plans for the spare set...
  10. Errr... I think Amazon messed my order up...
  11. This: And these: My first Vans. I'm pretty impressed with the comfort levels.
  12. Along with every Radiohead album opener: Bloc Party - Like Eating Glass Super Furry Animals - Zoom Interpol - Untitled (Are people seriously rating OLTA over TotBL?! Crazy...) Coldplay (Yes, Coldplay) - Politik In a similar vein to The XX - Intro: Doves - Firesuite And proper bare more.
  13. Drunk with friends...
  14. I also managed to record them filming a shootout. Well, you can hear it anyway. Lol @ neighbour at the end.
  15. They were filming this right outside my friend's flat in Manchester city centre in September. Sneaky shot as I had to be escorted across the film set to get to my friend's place: And a few photos from after the crew packed up for the day: This one is what the entrance of my friend's apartment block opened up to: Should have taken more photos, really...
  16. A world of awesome. Also, totally coincidentally, my friend's going to be living in Toronto for a year, so we've started talking about me flying over to meet him in a few months. I'll definitely try and go on some type of Scott Pilgrim tour when I'm there.
  17. Haha, everything's funny when you replace it with "owls"...
  18. This. And it's made me want to be in a band again more than ever.
  19. I'm not a massive movie watcher, but I 'obtained' Scott Pilgrim vs The World on a whim, just because I'd heard about it on several gaming sites and saw on the posters that he plays the same bass guitar as me. It's one of my better decisions of the year. In the month since I first saw it, I've watched it 3 times, read the graphic novels, bought the game, bought it on blu-ray, watched pretty much all the extras, got the soundtracks, etc etc. So it's pretty needless to say that I love this film, and I know it's one that I'm going to keep coming back to again and again for years to come. I lesbians this movie. My highlights are the Sex Bob-omb vs the Katayanagi fight, Nigel Godrich's score, the perfect casting, Ramona Flowers and a special mention to all the sound effects in the movie. 10/10
  20. An Epic of Epic Epicness!!

  22. The ending of DVNO is the best bassline I've ever heard.
  23. I did indeed! I went just after ExciteBots came out, and it was all over the store and on the demo units. I remember thinking it was pretty fun and would check it out when it came out over here, but, alas... I did buy a case for my DSi though.
  24. In this post, ShavenWolf.... plays bass... jumps about... stares into the distance... hangs about in New York... points at cameras... These are just the things I do.
