You should definitely give In Rainbows a go though. It's probably their 2nd most accessible album after The Bends. But I prefer it.

Thank you so so much!! Even though I don't post here an awful lot, getting birthday wishes just shows how awesome a forum this is!

Such a lazy, terrible "experiment"...

Such a huge fan of my Studio Beats... I've had them a year, and I still get surprised at how awesome they are! <3

What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!
ShavenWolf replied to Aneres11's topic in General Chit Chat
Ok, so I've got into Metronomy quite a lot this week. And this song is hella catchy. Slightly NSFW video FTW. Damn that's some funky bass. -
I've got a MacBook Pro 13" with a 2.26ghz Core 2 Duo, 8GB RAM, Geforce 9400M graphics chip and running OSX 10.7.1 and it runs perfectly fine! Better than it ran on the Xbox anyway!

Off the Mac App Store. I've always wanted to play this game properly. I had it on the Xbox, but because I had never played an RPG before, I didn't understand the mechanics and how to actually properly play the game. Now, in one hour, I've probably got further than it'd take me a week to accomplish 8 years ago....

I can't believe that picture's even real. So sad if it is though.

Yep, that would be a real RICKENBACKER!!

Anyone know of any New 2011 MMORPG Coming out?
ShavenWolf replied to Kizzel's topic in Other Consoles
Shit. Blizzard had better announce another WoW expansion pack before they lose all their entire fanbase to Scarlet Legacy. -
I'm guessing they'll have the 'making of' feature unlockable as you play the game, if the last 2 games are anything to go by.

Desktops Not Necessarily Aligned To One Particular Lunar Cycle!

Oops, sorry I'm a couple of days late here.... It's an iPhone 4! It has a 5MP camera and it films in 720p HD. It's completely unedited as well! Sure can! -
Awesome, thanks a lot! I'll just have a look around at what people have done if there's no point starting a big project!
-
I hope I'm not too late, but can I be added to the whitelist please? My name's shavenwolf, same as on here! :P Maybe I'll make another bigger, more aMAZEing maze this time!

The only major place I didn't go to was the house... but I suppose it's best to save something for the next trip! If anybody's interested in doing it, it was about £370 for the flights from Manchester for a week. Which isn't too bad! It also helps if you have a friend over there to stay with for free, of course. I'd actually recommend going to Toronto anyway, even if you're not a Scott Pilgrim fan! It's so amazing and it's got the most chilled out atmosphere of any city I've been to!

Hahaha, I *did* sleep on an airbed on the floor in the same room as my friend... who sleeps on a mattress on the floor! So it was pretty close! I didn't, unfortunately... it did enter my head though as I climbed the steps Scott meets Ramona at! It was a totally awesome trip though. Definitely worth doing for any Scott Pilgrim geek. It's just really weird now watching Scott Pilgrim... I saw it after I got home and I noticed so much more location-wise, especially the parts where Scott and Knives are hanging out at the start! They used the crossroads with the Honest Ed's and the Pizza Pizza a lot in that section! Edit - This crossroads: Bonus pic: Outside Lee's Palace, before coming back for the awesome night out. Canadian beer = crazy beer.
-
Partly! I really wanted to go after watching Scott Pilgrim, and it just so happened that my friend had just moved over there for a year! So me and a friend went to live with him for a week! Fun Fact: Hillcrest Park (aka: the park from Scott Pilgrim) is right at the end of the street my friend's living on! I also went to some of the places that are in the books too, like Dufferin Mall and inside Honest Ed's (and saw the massive moose head). I'm sure there's probably more too!
-
Better not tell you that I went to the park where Scott and Ramona have their first date and went on the swings, and went to the Pizza Pizza opposite Honest Ed's and sat in the seats used in the movie, and saw (but didn't go in) the library where Scott sees Ramona for real the first time, and went to Lee's Palace for an awesome night out (no Clash At Demonhead though...) and had a browse through the Goodwill shop at crap clothes, had a mooch around Casa Loma and went up and back down the stairs Lucas Lee grinds down... as well as going to Sonic Boom for a good browse and for a coffee at the Second Cup! This is as well as doing 'normal' tourist stuff, like going up the CN Tower and to Niagara Falls!

Holding the Scott Pilgrim DVD in the shop it was filmed in: Outside the Second Cup from Scott Pilgrim: And hanging around in cloudy Toronto:

My wallpaper is of the Toronto skyline that I took on my phone from a boat last week.
